Dishonesty/Warranty - JBF
I purchased an F-150 Platinum in 2013 and bought the extended warranty for $3925. I was told, at the time of purchase that if I did not use the warranty that I would receive a full refund after the 60 month/125,000. Now Bill Knight refuses to give me the refund. The manager said that they do not have a copy of the Signature Assurance Customer Application. I have all copies from the time of purchase, including the extend warranty but no Signature Assurance Application. I have done all my service at Bill Knight including some warranty work that I paid for out of pocket, refusing to use the warranty. I told the service department that unless it was something major, i.e. transmission, engine, differential, etc. that I would pay for it. All of this makes me wonder if the dealership intentionally forgets the Signature Assurance Application, so they will not be required to give the refund. I have purchased 3 F-150s and 1 Taurus from Bill Knight but will never do business with them again.
