I visited Kia if Chattanooga in September 21, 2018. My Kia Sportage 2017 needed oil change and general maintenance. They acknowledge me as soon as I arrived. Very polite, very professional. Offered a variety of goodies while I waited. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, a selection of cookies were brought in still hot from the oven and everyone seemed to be glad to see us customers in the waiting room. Two TVs were set up to two different channels and they even had my car washed for free after the oil change. Fast service, great attention to detail and did I mention complementary smiles?

2017 Sorento has a hesitation upon acceleration. - marigold0203
Our 2017 has a hesitation upon acceleration issue. The dealership told us several times that they were waiting to hear from Kia about any software updates to fix it and would let us know. When I finally contacted Kia Consumer Affairs about it, I was told that the dealership had already attempted to fix it with software updates prior to our purchase. This was not disclosed to us and the hesitation or shift issue is still there. So the Kia of Cleveland dealership has now decided to call it a characteristic of the Sorento and closed out the service call. I filed a complaint today with the BBB, as this is not satisfactory in a new car. It may very well cost me dearly when I am ready to trade or sell the car and the potential buyer notes the hesitation or "miss", or jerking sensation upon acceleration.

I purchased a 2005 Pontiac Aztec from this dealership in April 2018. Needless to say, I have spent close to $300 fixing my O2 sensor, wheel barring and ABS sensor, and replacing the brakes. The radio display and CD player do not work, and the driver seat does not recline. When we asked the dealership about these issues (before we even drove it off the lot), they directed us to their mechanics who told us we just bought it "AS IS." The saddest part of this experience is that when my boyfriend replaced my barring and ABS sensor, we noticed that the prior ABS sensor HAD BEEN CLIPPED. The mechanics couldn't figure out how to get the wires through the necessary hole and decided to CLIP THE WIRES AND TAPE THEM BACK TOGETHER WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE. The electrical tape wasn't even frayed. Luckily, my boyfriend wasn't careless like the Kia mechanics, spent 30 minutes figuring out how to get the wires through properly (removing an extra part), and now my ABS works again and I can finally drive my vehicle. I know it's a "dog eat dog" world, but purposely holding back information from customers is wrong and deceiving. I will never buy from this dealership group again. They are fake and dishonest, and I wouldn't trust anything they say.

The wait is painful - Unhappy with service wait
The service people are very professional. The problem is the waiting area. They have a short sofa 2 club chairs a desk side chair & 1 broken desk chair.6 seats & 8 or more waiting.
I waited an hour and a half past appointment time before they started service. Why set appointments?!Then another hour while they did the oil change & tire rotation. They have a brochure in the service area promising like home atmosphere complete with snacks. NOT HOME LIKE they do have a snack machine. I will avoid service @ this dealership.
