I spent two weeks looking for a car; visiting dealerships in Johnson City and Bristol as well as lots of online research. On a co-worker's recommendation I went to Kia of Kingsport. I could've have saved a great deal of time if I had gone here first. The process was stress free and none of that traditional hard selling. Overall this has been the best car buying experience I've ever had. If you're in the market for a new or used car, this is hands down the place to go!

It was actually the first time that buying a car was fun, and not a hassle. Kevin Anderson was informative, worked hard to meet the needs we required, and was such a pleasure to do business with. The atmosphere at the dealership is warm, friendly and not at all coercive (as was the case in the 3 other dealerships we visited). They really do try to get you the best deal, and pull out all of the offers, rebates, and incentives; without you having to ask. You hear it all the time, yet I never-EVER- seem to have found it. My blood pressure skyrockets when I even SEE a dealership! The games, the smoke and mirrors, the evasion of answers, the do-or-die high pressured games- I got it EVERYWHERE. Then, we went to Kia of Murfreesboro. It was too good to be true: casual, laidback salesman. (Chance) Finance manager who walked me thru everything and advised me candidly and honestly. (Joyce) And the owner was there every step of the way, Martin. He is popping in and out all day with customers, I love that! THE PRICE IS THE PRICE. It’s fair and transparent. No haggle games of whittling down inflated fluff prices.

After taking the vehicle home, we noticed a slight rattle. We reached out to Martin who immediately got back to me saying bring it right in-he was there himself upon my arrival and introduced us to his service crew. The certified tech, Daniel, rode with us and determined it was simply a rattle coming from a little play inbetween seat components... no avoidance of an issue, no immediate down play or assumption of the issue, everyone was so involved and wanted to make sure I FELT CONFIDENT. And I do, 100%, with every step of this process. It’s all the bells and whistles of the top dog in town, yet still with the relationships of the small hometown dealer. Best of both worlds.

After my first visit to the Alcoa shop, I am very disappointed in the service department. Did not give me full information about why my check engine light was on. Recommended only regular service (oil change and tune up) so I paid $500 for that. Next day the check engine light was on. Took it back in. Now it's timing chain and more for a cool $3815! If I had known that 2 days before I would have traded my car in for a new car and not done the $500 worth of service. I was told the manager would call me. He hasn't. I will NEVER do business with Rusty Wallace Kia Alcoa. I have been a regular at the Callahan location, but moved to Blount County. The Alcoa store is successful in chasing off business. I am telling everyone I know not to go there. I will never own Kia again. The Alcoa location is shady in their business practices.

The wait is painful - Unhappy with service wait
The service people are very professional. The problem is the waiting area. They have a short sofa 2 club chairs a desk side chair & 1 broken desk chair.6 seats & 8 or more waiting.
I waited an hour and a half past appointment time before they started service. Why set appointments?!Then another hour while they did the oil change & tire rotation. They have a brochure in the service area promising like home atmosphere complete with snacks. NOT HOME LIKE they do have a snack machine. I will avoid service @ this dealership.
