I purchased a vehicle from Jay Wolfe Honda on February 28, and my husband sold his vehicle to them the same day. Because he lives in Texas, all paperwork was completed via overnight UPS shipping.
Despite completing all required documents promptly, we still have not received payment for his vehicle. We were told the check would be mailed, then told it was sent via regular mail (which never arrived), and most recently we were told it would be sent via 2-day shipping but it still has not been delivered.
I have followed up multiple times and have been given inconsistent information and no resolution. At this point, it has been weeks, and we still do not have the funds owed to us.
This has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. A dealership should not delay payment after taking possession of a customer’s vehicle, nor repeatedly fail to follow through on what they promise.
I strongly recommend that others proceed with caution when buying or selling a vehicle here especially if you are completing transactions remotely.
