Brought truck in for repairs on 3 items. First item I knew what they told me was the problem couldn't be true beacause I had already checked this, but problem solved. Second item I was sold parts that didn't fix it, & after looking it up on the internet I found the truck was designed to do what it was doing & was denied any compensation for unnecessary part. Third item I had to return another 2 times to get the problem solved. Third time was the charm. The service adviser I was dealing with was obliging & polite but seemed to have a disconnect with the service technician.

Have been looking for a van for several months, we have specific needs because our 15 year old is disabled and we knew a Pacifica would provide the room we need when not using our accessible van. The perfect van came into Suntrup but had racks installed in the center of the van and no middle seats. We spoke with Malik several times about our intent to purchase if they would remove the racks and install seats. While Malik was very willing to work with us his manager informed us we could pay the cost to have them removed and was not willing to discuss other options. Saying, ‘I’ll take it back to auction if I have to but I am not making adjustments, it’s as is’. Business is business, but human decency, compassion, and kindness should not go out of style. Shame on you Suntrup for not having a conversation and shame on Malik’s manager for not helping him make a sale.

Buying a Ford has been one of the WORST decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m here to warn you—do NOT buy a Ford vehicle. They’re not built like they used to be, and they’re definitely not “Ford Tough,” despite the marketing hype. I drive a 2020 Ford Fusion SE, and since November 2024, I’ve been stuck in a never-ending nightmare with this car. It’s had the same issue over and over again, and Ford has done nothing to provide a real solution. After spending over $600 in November to address a sensor problem that caused the car not to start, it ran fine for about three months. But in February, the same issue popped up again. I immediately tried to get it back to the shop, but I couldn’t get an appointment until March. When I finally brought it in, they charged me $200 for diagnostics—and then tacked on another $200 because they said it would “take longer” to figure out the issue. After all that, they claimed the problem was just the battery and charged me $299 for a new one, bringing my total to $715. They swore they had taken it for a “test drive” and that everything was fine, saying the car “just needed a new battery.” That explanation didn’t sit right with me, but I trusted them because, after all, this is the Ford service department. If anyone should know how to fix a Ford, it’s them, right? Wrong. Less than 12 hours after I picked up my car, it broke down again, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. And when I called the service department, they basically told me I was on my own for getting it towed. At this point, I’ve been dealing with the same unresolved problem for almost six months. The issue with the car not starting has never been fixed, and I’ve wasted time, money, and energy going back and forth with Ford, getting nothing but excuses. It sucks to be in this situation, and it makes me furious that they clearly have no idea what they’re doing—or they just don’t care. Honestly, I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. If you’re thinking about buying a Ford, don’t do it. They don’t care about fixing your car; they care about draining your wallet. And their so-called “experts” don’t seem to know how to fix their own vehicles. This car has been nothing but a money pit and a headache. I’ve owned several other cars in my life, including luxury brands like Cadillac, and NONE of them have ever given me this much trouble. Ford vehicles are unreliable, and the service department isn’t any better. I wouldn’t recommend Ford to anyone—save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted money, and buy literally anything else. I’m determined to get to the bottom of this issue—even if I have to go public or involve my lawyer—because this is unacceptable. And judging by my experience, if you buy a Ford, you might end up in the same nightmare I’m in.

Paul Cerame Service is poor. - Rich

My 2016 Ford Focus, while I wouldn't call it a lemon, is a huge disappointment. It is a car that has had too much work needed within or immediately outside the warranty period. About two years ago when a little bit of time/mileage was left on the 3/36 warranty, I noticed that it struggled to maintain on hills if your foot wasn't on the brake. I'm not meaning for an extended period of time. I mean in the time that you adjust your footing on the brake or shift to the gas pedal. I realize that to some extent that cars can 'slip' a little bit in these situations and I told the service manager at Paul Cerame Ford this when he tried to lecture me on this. I said, I've driven over 500K miles, for 33 years and with multiple cars, so I have a clue what to expect. I said, this car stands out as one that doesn't hold it's position well. Anyway, just over 2 years ago I took it as this was a noticeable problem. It was covered under warranty and it was 'fixed' and I didn't think about it too much. Bad clutch, authorized Ford dealership fixed it. I'm probably good. I didn't think about a warranty on the new clutch. The warranty I found out that I was given was a 12 month/12K mile warranty. To me a clutch is an item that you should have for a while. Okay so my first clutch, it went out at around 30K, my next clutch started failing within the first year I had it and I thought maybe this is something that isn't covered? I don't know, I'm driving another car commonly and I don't do excessive hill driving and I don't do excessive hill parking, so you know I might sense I have an issue and I might just shift to my other car or not run into the situation again where it is slipping for another little while and 'out of sight, out of mind'. I'm reading that they are commonly designed to go about 60K miles before being replaced. But, the (Cerame/Ford) warranty on their replacement clutch was a weak 12month/12K miles. It's like don't count on our quality parts/workmanship for too long. I pointed out that having such a weak warranty indicates that you all don't have much faith in your parts/work. If you did, you'd give a better warranty. So he defended it of course and started to cite customer satisfaction since 1995 or that's where he was going. I shut him down as how is that relevant to me. I had a clutch that fails kind of early on the car and their replacement clutch isn't any better, if anything the part/work didn't last even that long. Instead of owning up the fact that perhaps they aren't perfect he went into a defend the dealership mode and deal with it mode. That's a fine way to treat a customer who has gotten work done there on multiple occasions. As I indicated, I wasn't very quick on dealing with this as I have another car I commonly drive, I have a busy life and it's not real convenient for me to drop the car off there. You know time passes and you neglect. It was all: Call Ford if you have a beef. No, let's see how we can keep you a happy and loyal customer. No let's look at it and see if clutch replacement didn't work out well or let's see if you can advocate on your behalf to Ford. No nothing, just a snarky 'what do you expect me to do about it'? I guess if there is a risk that they won't have a nice payout for work they do, then well, sorry buddy, we don't care. I guess it doesn't matter if you've taken your car to them for work on multiple times before. Tough luck, bring it in an you'll or someone will pay out of the butt. First time, there is a risk that they might get a handsome payout, it's screw you, call Ford. So, I said, "Because I didn't report the problem with the replacement clutch soon enough, this is a well tough luck buddy moment." He said this is a Ford problem. I said, how is it just a Ford problem if you did the work on the replacement clutch and it became apparent that the work wasn't taking too well or lasting that long? I rolled back recently when I shifted my foot on the brake for a moment into another car. Now, it wasn't a high speed impact or anything, but it was still annoying. I told him you know if I were driving my other car, I wouldn't have had this circumstance. I said actually in most cars, I've not had this sort of issue. I said, even after your 'fix' I still had the problem, but I didn't address it soon enough. He was of course unmoved and why would he be? Apparently customers mean nothing to the service department unless they get a big fat payout. So, yeah, if you want service or someone to work with you, Paul Cerame isn't the place. If their service treats their customers like this, I can't see a situation in which I'd buy a car from them. Why so when there is a 'risk' that they wouldn't get a nice payout for work, they shut you down? If a dealership treats me right and takes into account the customer experience and customer concerns, I will be loyal to a fault. However, if they are. Sorry buddy, your tough luck, too bad about our work and it not working out well for you. Well, then I have no use for them and I will let anyone who cares know. So, Paul Cerame, consider me a lost customer forever. I probably will never buy another Ford Focus and I certainly will never consider you when looking at cars or considering where to get maintenance work done. Not only have you lost a customer now and in the future, but to potentially to anyone I have influence with they will be aware about how you treat customers in the service dept. Bommarito on the other hand knows how to treat it's customers.

I needed a part ordered and a few minor paint touch ups for a 10 Mustang GT. Mertz Ford GM Mike Rich suggested I bring it in and have their paint tech look it over and see what can be done. Paint touch ups are difficult, but I was very pleased with the results. The process took less than an hour. I also ordered a new battery cover a few days before and I was able to pick it up the same day the paint was repaired. Great service and excellent results. Appreciate the help.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here and won't be going back. Here is my experience as unbiased as I can tell it: - I entered lot to see a used vehicle that had been on their lot for 3 weeks. Discussing the vehicle with the salesman, I was told the vehicle had undergone their standard used vehicle inspection and oil change. - I test drove vehicle and noted some shimmy in brakes, so I asked for the brakes to be inspected. - I left the lot to visit another dealership, then later received a call that the vehicle had not had the standard inspection and oil change as the salesman had said. They offered to replace the warped rear rotors causing the shimmy and pads, which was nice. - When I returned to the dealership, I entered the vehicle to find that the salesman or another employee had smoked in the vehicle between my test drives. It had been a non-smoking car before that point which was important to me. - With the brakes, inspection, and oil change resolved, I did a final check over the vehicle. When looking closely, I found some fluid on the left side of the bottom of the engine. The salesman didn't know what it was, so we both discussed some possible causes. He thought it might be residual fluid from the AC pump, which had been replaced. I thought it might be coming from near the water pump. I told them to check out the leak before I signed. They returned saying, "We did not identify a new leak". - I signed the papers understanding it was an "As-Is" purchase, assuming responsibility for the issues of the car but trusting their word that the fluid was a non-issue. - Within a week find the leak was still occurring (I parked on gravel the first 6 days so couldn't detect the leak). I took it to a Honda Dealership in another state where I had just relocated, and they immediately identified it as an oil leak through the front crank seal. - I had the dealership repair the issue, and then I called back Wrights to inquire about the issue. They claimed I only asked them to look around the water pump (less than 10 inches from the crank seal, fluid would have been very visible from under the car), would not respond to my inquiry into whether they kept a written report of their used car report, and did not make any effort to rectify the situation, meet me in the middle, or work to find a compromise. I can't tell whether this was an issue of lack of integrity or technical competence, but either way they've lost me as a customer.

Several times the service people were rude on the phone. When we got the van back FINALLY it was awefully dirty inside and STUNK! I wil NEVER NEVER return there!
