It is rare these days for businesses to go the extra mile to please a customer but hats off to Texana (Cecil Atkission) Toyota to going the extra 330 miles. After having a 2023 Toyota bZ4x sold out from under me by Shottenkirk Toyota in Hudson Oaks, TX, Terry Sinclair called offering to do a deal online and deliver the car from Orange to Fort Worth. After the deal was done in about an hour at 8pm on a Friday night (kudos to Muriel Brown the finance manager), there were some EV learning curve issues with the gentlemen who were driving the vehicle up Saturday and they had to turn back. The General Manager Mike Grewenig called profusely apologized and offered to have Mr. Sinclair drive the car up overnight Saturday, a $250 Amazon gift card and a second key. I didn't want anyone on the road all night for a vehicle so they shipped to vehicle Monday. Subsequently, they delivered all promises. If they have a vehicle you want, reach out to Texana Toyota and they will treat you right!!! Their customer service is off the charts!!!

My mother-in-law was in need of a new vehicle and was interested in a Toyota Camry. We went to Lake Charles Toyota to see what they had to offer. Our salesman, Wool Wooldridge, met with us, and immediately treated us like we were his mom and sister. It was raining when we arrived, so he found the car we were interested in and brought it to us to look at so we wouldn’t have to go out in the rain. The experience from there only got better. He brought us 4 different Camrys to look at, then the rain stopped and we decided to walk out on the lot with him. That’s when she spotted the car we drove home in that day, an electric blue C-HR. It just so happened this car was exactly in her budget. Buying this car was not like any other experience we have ever had. From looking at cars with Wool, to signing papers with Ricky Wilson, it was just amazing! On top of the great experience with buying the car, we also got free lifetime oil changes and inspection stickers! You just can’t beat that! We will definitely be back to Lake Charles Toyota!

I am a returning customer. Bo Sierra is always very helpful and patient. I thought I knew what vehicle I wanted and while listening to my needs, considering the amount of driving I do, Bo suggested the Rav-4 hybrid. I was leaning more toward the grand Hylander but being as I am mostly driving alone, and driving long distances for work, I decided on the Rav-4 after going back and forth for about 3 hours! I could not be happier. It is still roomy enough for me and my family and I love the fuel efficiency. I appreciate Bo' s patience and knowledge when it came down to comparing the vehicles and their features. If you need a vehicle, you need to go see Bo Sierra at Fed Haas Toyota World.

The service department went the extra mile to accommodate our hectic schedule. When we dropped the vehicle off we were told the repair would be ready by 4, give or take, the next day. In true Murphy's Law fashion, we were going to need our car back earlier than originally planned so I asked the service rep if getting the car back earlier was possible. She was able to get a hold of maintenance and have the car back early and ready to go a couple hours ahead of original time giving us time to head out of town and beat traffic to make our appointment. Thank you for putting the customer first.

I recently had a very negative experience with Mac Haik Toyota. After spending $1000 to maintenance my car which was having absolutely no problems, I was left with a severely damaged transmission just a couple weeks after their technicians serviced it. I spoke to the Director of Service, who was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful - he has absolutely terrible customer service skills and was unwilling to show any concern for my problem which now costs nearly $5,000. Do NOT bring your car here. The technicians don’t know what they’re doing, and the guy in charge is the service department is a joke.

But today I took my 2019 Toyota Highlander in w/coupon for a $49 oil change, free tire rotation and yrly. inspection for vehicle registration. When I received the invoice at the payment counter the bill was for $81.??. I had been charged $19.99 for the tire rotation which was to be free as indicated on the coupon. I asked to have it changed and Luis, the auto tech, went back to the computer w/my invoice. When he finally returned it to the payment counter, the cost was $71.62. It should have been $19.99 removed from $81.??. It should have been approximately $61.??. I was already late to another appt. so paid the $71.62. Not happy about this issue. We appreciate your coupons and use them when applicable. The invoice I paid is Invoice# 1210485, Tag# TB1476. I would appreciate some explanation. I pick up our car and a safety recall was not preformed because Toyota doesn’t have a fix for it yet. So, keating and Toyota together put us in another vehicle and chose to keep my vehicle until there is a fix. How long…… only Toyota knows and no fault of Keating Toyota. Returned after 6 weeks and still no fix for our car. We traded out the vehicle after only getting to drive it for 1 week and 6 weeks in their shop. Boy did we take a beating. We traded in for what was to be a swap out and they screwed us out or $25,500 on or trade. We went back to talked to them just weeks later and all we got was, OH you made a bad deal. These guys are crooks. The guy named Shaun actually stood up and started yelling at my wife and telling us to leave, and wanted one of his salesmen to call 911. How pathetic of a Manager. Totally unprofessional. Do not buy from here unless you bring your lawyer!!!

I have purchased two vehicles at this location and I guess I should have learned my lesson the first time around. The issue is that my second car purchased at community toyota has three separate warranties that were purchased with the new car. I was concerned that when the time arouse I would have a very difficult time accessing the benifits of such warranties. Sure enough it has happened. Let's start with the tires, mind you this was a brand new car with tires made for 50,000 miles. So my son had a blow out in Kansas I believe and he took the vehicle to the dealership there, and apparently dealerships don't share information , so the dealership stated they were not aware of any warranties on the tires until I called them. Anyhow the dealerships service department told my son that he needed to change all his tires so he did as he was instructed and payed over 1,400.00 dollars. After I called the dealership because they had not coved the one tire under warranty, because they claimed not to be aware of it. The car had about 29000 miles on it and the dealership claimed that the thread on the tires was too low. Debatable. I specifically got there warranties so that my son would not worry on his long trips to work but this was to no avail. It has been months of going back and forth with the dealerships and warranty companies and nothing. I am made to feel like an idiot for believing that they would honor what they sold me. So very frustrating and I asked specifically if my son or I would have to go through this circus , and of course the lady told me no. There was a manager of service that was helping me at the community toyota who seems very helpful but I was told he is no longer there Also my son driving all these miles had some bugs and hard water stains on the paint of the vehicle as well. And so started another fiasco. After being tured down for every request to get this remedied the insurance company finally agreed on a complete detail of the car...and there it began. I took the car to the dealership to get detailed (after about a week of going back and forth with insurance) on Monday so that it could get detailed tuesday and had to get a ride from the dealership to my home that night. So Tuesday I was told I could pick up my car because it was ready and I asked if I could pick it up at about 7pm so I could get ride. I was told yes and the keys would be left up front. When I got dropped off , neither the car or keys were there. The service man had forgotten and drove back. It took him about 30min to get there. After awhile he brought the cat to the front but the same bugs were on the front bumper and paint, also the tire covers were full of mud and dirt so I had to leave it again. This time I had to wait more than an hour for my ride to pick up again. The next day my brother picked the car up at about 7pm thinking my nightmare was over I parked and coverd the car. The next day I happened to look at the undercarriage of the car and it was still full of mud and dirt. ( I was told several times by service that the detailed job included the undercarriage of the car) So I took pictures and sent them to the service man. Then Monday comes and the service man tells me he would look into it on Tuesday because he saw this message late Monday. Tuesday the said service man calls and tells me there was a language barrier between him and the detailer and they do not have a lift to clean the undercarriage of the car. What do you say to that. I felt defeated, it's not like I can go see if they do or don't have this lift. It just baffles me that I had to literally be there for a week straight and call and go back and forth for them not to completely clean my car . Which the insurance is paying for, also Noone there seems to know what to do with hard water spots( which warranties they sold me covers). Not ever the body shop. The body shop told me I need a professional. Then I don't know what the dealership is if not professional.

Best Toyota dealership experience I've had to date. No pushiness, no ADM/markups, no expensive dealer-addons. Excellent sales and finance team. Stan is the best salesmen I've ever worked with, his manager Alex is extremely friendly and patient, really appreciate his love of cars and GT-R which he started for me, it was incredible! I also appreciate the patience and efficient finance manager Lou. He didn't try to hard-sell the warranties but instead explained them well and didn't get upset when I declined them like some finance managers at other dealerships do. Don't shop at any other Toyota, call Stan at Gulf Coast Toyota and work with Alex and Lou. You'll be in good hands and have a good time.

Drove three hours from Austin to Houston for my husband to test drive his dream truck he has been researching for six months. We were in communication with this dealership about this specific truck for weeks. It was finally ready after a recall fix, texted that we were driving in. When we got there thats when they found out a deposit was put down on the truck THE NIGHT BEFORE. No message, call or email was sent to us before we made the three hour drive. Tried to get us a deal on a brand new truck but it was not worth it. Then told we were going to get a full tank of gas for the travel... waited for 30 minutes on that. Gas tank empty and a whole Saturday wasted.

We purchased a Toyota C-HR from Toyota of Alvin in 2017, and at the time we were very happy with the vehicle. We also bought the Wheel Lock Lug Nuts from the dealership to help prevent the wheels from being stolen. However, when we had all four tires replaced a few years later, the tire shop informed us that the Wheel Lock Lug Nuts installed on our vehicle were not compatible with the tires. I reached out to the dealership to report the issue, but unfortunately, no one ever responded. This means that for several years, I was driving a vehicle that I believed was properly secured, when in reality the Wheel Lock Lug Nuts did not provide the safety and protection I expected for myself and my family. This experience has taught me that when purchasing a vehicle, it’s important to choose a dealership that prioritizes customer safety and trust and not just sales.

I was looking for a 2018 Toyota CH-R in a very rare color (Radiant Mica Green). Started out in Baton Rouge, at the dealership closest to where I live. They didn't have the color I wanted, but he told me that he could get it from the closest Toyota dealer that had one (which was Hixson). So, we began to negotiate, but red flags went up when he only offered me $3500 for my trade-in (the Kelley Blue Book value when I looked it up was nearly $6000.) When I questioned him about it, he made up a bunch of excuses as to why my car wasn't really worth what KBB said. Anyway, we finally struck a deal for $19000 + my trade-in value. He went to verify it with his boss, and came back and told me, "I have great news. My manager is insane for agreeing to this, but he says you can have a CH-R for that price, but it has to be that one right there (which was sitting on their showroom floor, in a completely different color.) I told him I wasn't interested and left. As I was leaving the parking lot, I called Hixson and was connected with a salesman named Justin Brown. When I mentioned the vehicle he immediately knew which car I was talking about, and told me he'd call me right back for a bottom line "out the door" price. Sure enough, 5 minutes later he called me and offered me the car at $100 over invoice ($24817 including taxes & fees). He asked me to send my VIN # and some photos of my vehicle so that he could assess the value. He told me he could give me the $5817 for it no problem, and I could pay the rest ($19000) in cash. So, I made the 3+ hour drive to Leesville early this morning to pick it up. I met Justin, who had all of my basic paperwork ready to go. I was then introduced to John, who was in charge of all the finances and warranties and whatnot. He, too, was super-nice (despite being a Cowboys fan) and was awesome to deal with. In less than an hour after arriving at the dealership I was driving off the lot in my brand-new CH-R. I could not be happier with my purchase and the service I received.
