This is the best place I have ever been too. The sales team was so nice and attentive. I was walking the lot for 3 minutes looking at cars by myself, then I was greeted by the manager. I started out working with Justin. We were looking for a Jeep Renegade. They just had a new trade in that my daughter fell in love with. So we started the process of buying this Renegade. I made myself cle Jeep Renegade. They just had a new trade in that my daughter fell in love with. So we started the process of buying this Renegade. I made myself clear multiple times what the max payment had to be and it had to include an extended warranty and Gap and no more than 72 month finance. They kept saying Jeep Certification and Gap and my payment was meet. I was told the Jeep Certification was for 1 year bumper to bumper and so many years and miles for power train. And it was included in the price. Well this one is on me. We get to Finance and now the finance guy is trying to up sell us a Service Contract (extended warranty) and Gap, and the payment went up by $60.I was livid. I told the guys In the beginning what I needed and how much the max payment needed to be. Whether they call it a Service Contract or Extended Warranty , they should have known what I was talking about. I was ready to walk at this point. then a manger Steve comes in and I am asking what is this Kahu. It's $2k they add at the dealership for a GPS tracking LoJack program. I don't know what it is. We don't want it, take it off and don't add it to the cost of the vehicle. So with Steve , they remove the Kahu add the Service Contract and Gap.and get the payments almost down to where I told them my max payment should be. So I'm looking over the contract. And they changed the terms from 72 months to 75 months ! This is not what I asked for. The finance guy says it's only 3 more payments and I am like that is almost an extra thousand dollars. No! These people.dont listen. When a customer tells you what they want in the beginning. Don't send them back to finance to try and upsell more products. Is that not why you have a sales person on the floor to begin with. Finance should be the last and easiest thing to do. Every thing should be settled before you go into finance. This additional upselling in Finance is BS! Well after almost 7.5 hours and me turning into a Karen. I finally got them to finance what I had asked for in the beginning. If they would just have listened and let the Salesperson do their job. (Stop sending people to finance and upselling , do this in the beginning) Maybe this wouldn't have been such a NIGHTMARE car buying experience. More

My experience at Rick Hendrick Duluth was interesting because this was my first time Purchasing a vehicle so I didn’t have the whole process all the way figured out. At first I didn’t The process all fi because this was my first time Purchasing a vehicle so I didn’t have the whole process all the way figured out. At first I didn’t The process all figured out but was told that the vehicle I purchased was already ready to be shipped to the dealership but that wasn’t the case and I had to wait over a month and a half for the vehicle. I really do appreciate that Justin and Taylor made sure that I was taken care of during this time and even provided multiple loaner vehicles for me to get to work while I waited for the vehicle I purchase. This type of dedication and care to the customer was the reason why I can eventually say me purchasing this vehicle was worth it from Rick Hendricks instead of another dealership. Give those guys a raise! More
