Replacing a car after an accident was easy thanks to them! - alliepowell
Being in a car accident with a totaled car is never a fun process. The whole experience is quite stressful and difficult. My husband and I were quite frankly, dreading the whole experience of buying another car. We walked around the Finlay Honda lot on a Sunday and knew exactly which car we were hoping to test drive when they reopened on Monday. We were not especially hopeful that we would be able to purchase a new car with the features we wanted and with the payments that stayed in our budget. My husband is on a very fixed income and so a payment within our budget was extremely important to us. On Monday, we called the dealership and spoke with Randy Waites. This is the second time we have utilized his services and we are never disappointed. Randy made sure that his employee Dylan (who was MORE than awesome) had the cars we wanted to test drive in the front of the dealership (warmed up I might add), ready and waiting! Dylan was so incredibly knowledgable without coming across as pushy. He was incredibly respectful of our situation and took the appropriate amount of time needed to ensure that we knew all of the cars features. He was very patient and kind. This was particularly impressive to us as we were not here to buy a very expensive car and yet, we were treated like we were purchasing the most expensive one on the lot. These Finlay Honda associates treated us like family. Next up...the dreaded "numbers" game. As we sat down with Randy at his desk, he took the time to understand our needs and was MORE than accommodating. We even had to leave the dealership to attend a few appointments but when we returned, Randy had all the paperwork written up and let us know that he went through OUR bank, rather than the dealership because we could (in our own personal situation), achieve a better rate and payment. We did not feel pressured to buy something we did not need or want. Finally, we met with Riley (Finance Officer) and his dog Hank. Yes...the process of signing papers for a car is INFINITELY better while petting a dog. Riley was down-to-earth, respectful of our time and went through everything clearly so we could understand. Once again, we did not feel pressured in any way. Having his dog Hank by my side was definitely a bonus and contributed to the overall feel of this hometown dealership. We love our new car, the service we received and the whole process reminds us why we love living in Flagstaff. Randy, Dylan and Riley...a heartfelt THANK YOU! We are so pleased with our choice!

Easy and knowledgeable about all aspects of my needs and questions. Buying a new car today is way different, the technology is very advanced since I last purchased a car. Matt was thorough and patient as my memory is not as good as it use to be.
Even after purchase was completed and I needed more information a couple days later, he was very helpful.
In a nutshell, hard to imagine going anywhere else to buy another car. Thanks Matt and the Arrowhead team for all your help.

Since I was waiting for the vehicle he keep me up to date on the installation. They finished the installation ahead of schedule and Alvin reviews everything about my vehicle ensured all was done and ready to be returned.

The battery died in our car and when we took the battery out we noticed it had a 100-month warranty from Honda so we called the dealership and told them our situation and they advised us what paperwork they needed to replace the battery. We showed up to the dealership and gave the service advisor the paperwork and he said it would be taken care of. An hour later the service advisor came to us and said he could not warranty the battery because it was out of warranty even though the battery was put in in 2015. The warranty manual even says after the factory warranty that there is to be a prorated discount depending on how long it has been for a replacement battery. Very poor customer service and would not recommend this dealership for anything. We thought about looking at trading in our car for a new one but not at Surprise Honda . Definitely a different Honda dealership .
First new car experience - Type r owner
I live in Tucson but found the car I needed to have in chandler. John flick made it so easy even tho I was purchasing a vehicle that was being shipped from over seas. John answered every time I called or texted him and was very patient with me. When my car came early he called me right away. When I arrived my civic type r was ready for pickup and paperwork was so quick my wife didn’t have time to browse haha. We will definitely be back to purchase from John again.
