I don’t know if this is rating dealership or salesperson.... - flyingw57
I don’t know if this is rating dealership or salesperson. I liked meeting and working with Jason Maygora in sales. He is new and still learning. A very polite friendly young man. Very clean cut and well dressed. He was very patient with me. He did a good job. The dealership needs to refine their processes to speed up the car buying process. I financed the trade thru my credit union. I was not offered the option of any dealer financing. Then it was a battle to make the deal. Orr wouldn’t release the title until they were paid. Likewise, my CU wouldn’t release money unless the dealer gave them the title. I could have bought the truck in two days if Orr would have sent copy of title to CU. But it took 10 days to get the truck. I only talked to salesman and financial person. So not a lot of hand-offs. This was the longest time I have spent trading vehicles in 47 years and dozens of vehicles. Dealership was clean and I liked being able to park by front door. Other dealers in FS park new cars in front of building with no customer parking close. Of course the salespeople were trolling the parking lot like hungry sharks. You gotta love car dealerships.

Great Customer Service for a female "Senior Citizen" - L B
Needed an extra key for 2006 Solstice. Rick Ruth made one but once getting home it didn't work.
After calling him to let him know, he asked me to come back in to make it right. Come to find out the ignition lock cylinder and ignition key were on recall. They took care of that recall plus other recalls for my make and model. I could not be happier with the friendliness of the entire service department. Thank you Rick. You just made things in this COVID 19 world, a litter easier for your now, new customer :)
Got a great deal on a Chevy Cruze - Go Hogs!
I highly recommend Mike to find your next vehicle! We had shopped for a month before buying. I was about to go to an auction to buy and mike mentioned that he had a Chevy Cruze on his lot that I needed to look at. My daughter's first car was bought from a local business. I couldn't be happier.

These people have my business. Made buying my truck so easy. Was no pressure what so ever to buy and no sales person went with me on the test drive. After the sale. Tina the sales lady and a guy from the service department even helped me get all my junk and even my tool box switched over to my new truck. The manager was so nice also. They have my business from now on.

Took my truck in and sadly got it back worse off than when they got it. Lack of info from them, the cause. They rendered all my tire sensors useless because of one, but failed to inform me this would happen. Out $150 charge and in worse shape than when I went in.

I traded with these clowns and they in turn sent me a letter AFTER we had signed the deal that listed me as an ADVERSE ACTION recipient. Funny part is the bank after they financed the car, which I wanted to pay CASH for, sent me a letter that stated they the DEALER tried to over charge me on the rate and they REDUCED the interest rate because my credit score was 831 out of 850, EXCELLENT SCORE. The salesperson was told before the deal was signed that I needed 2 keys with remotes and then after checking out the car I found NO jack, handle or lug wrench in case I had a flat....WE CAN TAKE CARE OF THAT.....I had a key in hand and cut and programed for $10.00 at Crain BGMC....No supply problems there...I had expected too much from people that I thought were fair and was getting treated better than I would have in Conway where the dealers are more available across the board. Did NOT happen. I will never do business with MARK MARTIN again and do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.
PRICE is now the only selling point. Going to bank tomorrow to pay off the loan I did not want to start with. They can RUIN your credit rating.
Most unprofessional - Pootshoota
Again i needed to have repairs done on my toyota tacoma, and again i dropped my vehicle off at the dealer, for those repairs. Every time i use this shop, im never given a status of my vehicle, it takes them forever to do the work requested, ive never gotten my vehicle on the day it was dropped off. NEVER, they have kept my vehicle two days for a brake inspection.
Parts department problems - Jeremy
Ordered floor liners in person at the parts department to insure I got the right ones. Called for 4-5 days before finally speaking to Cody in parts who said they were in. I drive an hour to Jonesboro to find that they are not in. Cody says well I can ship them to you. I thought that would be awesome. So I give him a $100 and $25 Chevy rewards voucher as partial payment and go for my card to pay the balance. He said “don’t worry about the difference, we have a little wiggle room on the price.” This was on a Wednesday so on Friday I call to verify that they’d been shipped only to find Cody had quit. Now the dealership will not honor the price Cody promised me. It seems that working with management at this dealership is impossible. I hate being made to be a liar but this is exactly the way I’m being
made to feel.
The Bale repair shop on North Cross St should be avoided... - Cowboyfan35
The Bale repair shop on North Cross St should be avoided at all cost. I had some work done on my Suburban a few months ago, and it was amazing how incompetent this shop is. I got a firm estimate from them, and then I was told, after they started, that it was a huge error by over 100%. Eventually it had to be escalated twice within the Bale Service Organization. At the end, the overall job done was very poor. I had to take it to Crain Chevrolet to get it done correctly. They even removed items that was in my car that was not theirs. They couldn't find the parts in most cases, so I had to find them myself third party. They blamed the lack of parts on COVID, but how was I able to get them and they couldn't. Overall, the young man helping me didn't know what he was doing. He priced the job incorrectly, he apparently didn't know how to estimate and had no oversight what so every by Bale. He even lost the original estimate and he had to redo it. One of the managers apologized and told me he would make it right. Well, he didn't. He was interested in trying to negotiate less scope that was promised.....the remaining work was done very cheaply. Crain corrected, but of course, I had to pay to get it done right. Don't bother going to them. Not fit to stay in business.

went to pick up 2010 Camaro with clean carfax and promised everything was good. Got it home had been badly damaged and repainted all the way around, including new glass. My inspector suggested I get my money back, they gave me the run-a-around. Finally got a refund, this show they knew it was a bad deal. Could have sued these folks! if you buy a used look it over very closely.

What a great sales experience I had - jhotze
I was looking for a used car and I found the model, model year, and color online at Gentry Chevrolet. When I contacted them I had the great fortune to have Brad Ewing as my salesperson. He patiently listened to every desire and concern I had and responded with clear and direct answers and comments. He went above and beyond providing detail information on the vehicle. If you are interested in buying a car used car and you want a great salesperson helping you, then you should contact Brad Ewing. I am very grateful to Brad for making an experience, that I was thinking was going to be difficult experience into a very pleasant experience. For BRAD I give him Five Stars

Dealership installs Passenger tires on a Heavy Duty Pickup - Greg
Summary of Events:
I purchased a 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500HD from Joe Lee Chevrolet in Clinton, AR. As part of the sales agreement, the dealership agreed to replace two worn tires, upon taking possession, they had replaced all four tires. This was a pleasant surprise; until I found out they were not rated for a 3/4 ton pickup. They are passenger tires, Bridgestone P255/70R17 (4 ply tires).
I have contacted GM and they said the recommended replacement will be located on a sticker inside the driver door, which states LT245/75R17E. I have also consulted with several tire dealers and a Bridgestone dealer, who all said that 'P' (passenger) tires should not be installed on a 3/4 ton pickup and should have E (10 ply) rated tires. Joe Lee Chevrolet’s own ‘tire finder’ website list only LT tires as replacements.
The following quote is from a Bridgestone representative in an article titled, ‘Advice: Light Truck vs Passenger car tires: what you should know’*:
“It’s a serious safety issue,” says Dino Tenuta, Bridgestone Canada’s Manager of Technical Services. “A P-metric (passenger) tire will generally not stand the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of a truck designed for LT-metric tires…”
“Additionally, he explains, handling, braking, and stability can all be affected when mounting a non-OE rated tire on the vehicle.”
Another quote from the same article:
“Vehicle manufacturers and tire companies alike stress the importance of sticking with OE LT-metric tires on your truck. Swapping an OE LT-metric tire for a P-metric tire can have dangerous consequences.”
They have admitted to pulling them off of a 1/2 ton pickup which weighs 4,860lbs. When I told the sales manager I didn't buy a 1/2 ton pickup, I bought a 3/4 ton pickup, a Silverado 2500HD, which weighs 9,500lbs, he said “this conversation is over” and hung up.
When I originally brought this to their attention, I was told that if I wanted to 'upgrade' the tires, I would have to pay the difference in price and the cost of mounting/balancing. It should not be considered an upgrade to have the original equipment rated tires to be on a vehicle when you purchase it. Negotiating was not an option; I was told flatly by the sales manager “I am not buying anymore tires for that truck’.
I asked for the original tires back, but the dealer said they no longer had them. I have tried to negotiate with the dealer, but the sales manager said 'I am not buying anymore tires for that truck'. I was told if I wanted to 'upgrade', they would give me $80 'trade-in' for the tires on it now and I pay the difference for the upgraded tires (over $100 per tire), plus the cost of mounting/balancing. I declined this offer as I did not consider original equipment tires an upgrade.
I understand that I bought the truck used and ‘as-is’. As it was when I agreed to purchase the truck was with LT tires. I requested the two rear tires be replaced as a condition of purchase, they agreed to do so. It does not seem unreasonable to expect a dealership to install the properly rated and sized tires. I liken this to the dealership fueling the vehicle with the correct grade and fuel type. It is not expected that they would use anything other than what is recommended for the vehicle. It seems that it would be reasonably expected that they would do the same with the tires, such a critical part of the vehicle given its Heavy Duty nature and the loads it is capable of hauling.
I use a truck to haul a 1,000lb four-wheeler and tow a 7,000lb camper, all of which I relayed to the salesperson, Hassle. Now, if I drive on the currently installed tires, not rated nor recommended by GM, any tire dealer I have contacted, Bridgestone industry experts, or any tire manufacturer I have found, I put me and my family’s lives at risk.
