Expert analysis and fix for my new Cadillac CT6 - Caddy 3.0 TT
On a Saturday morning cross country drive when the service engine light came on. I was a little rattled because I was some distance from home. I had just purchased the car a day earlier in an adjoining state where I live. Lucky that Orr was just a few miles away and grateful for their Saturday service department hours. I wish I had everyone’s name but the service advisors were great and the Cadillac mechanic knew the engine, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and had me on my way in an hour. Confidence in my car was restored. It’s now 5 days and 2,000 miles later, my trip is completed successfully, the car was perfect with no further issues. Thank you!

(2008 Chevy HHR serviced) I had to leave the state very quickly and I couldn't stay to allow the dealership to address the issues the failed to address during my service visits. I trusted the dealership to make correct diagnoses and to perform quality work when I should not have. Other GM dealerships do not seem to be willing to honor the "warranty" on the work that was performed. Mechanics/technicians don't seem to know how to properly diagnose issues, they simply say things to the service representative to lead you down the wrong direction with many costly and unnecessary repairs, and they didn't listen to me when I gave them the specifically diagnosed issues. The service representative was okay, but the gap between customer service on the front end, and the misunderstandings of the technicians and between the service reps seems to be the biggest issue with a repair that I had. The technicians seemed to have done good work on most of the repairs except the vehicle alignment that was required after they stated the "control arms were warped" was done incorrectly (despite documentation from the computer showing it's in good shape.) The vehicle still very rigidly pulled to the right after getting out of the lot; however, alignments aren't warrantied according to other GM dealerships, so I was out of luck there. The wobble when braking was incorrectly addressed by trying to fix the aforementioned control arms and aligning the tires. While this seems logical, I clearly stated to the service technician that the issue was in the rotors, and that they had 135k miles and never been replaced/surfaced. They insisted it was the control arms. I assumed they were correct and allowed the service. I went to another mechanic and they showed me the rotors were warped; thus confirming my original suspicion. The service techs insisted my AC compressor needed replacement after I told the service representative that the issue was an idler pulley, as I've diagnosed several issues in older vehicles like this before. Again, assuming they were correct, this suggested fix should've worked.. After a second opinion with a better mechanic It turns out the idler pulley was about to fall off, and the parts had rusted to the point of near failure.. The service techs and/or representative failed to mention the giant hole in the fender that was cut out for unknown reasons. The service techs failed to properly diagnose the heater issues with the vehicle. They did see and nicely repair the issues to the radiator that were very evident; however, they made no attempt at further diagnosing the heater system to see if that could've been the only issue. After several hours of my time in an Autozone parking lot, I discovered it was the blend door switch that was broken. The service tech and rep seemed to suggest that it was the heater core as the most likely cause. This again, points to the lack of proper knowledge and technical diagnostic skills necessary to make competent repairs. After financing 3,600$ and an additional 700$ cash for "my" own diagnosis repairs (the 700$ went a lot further than the 3,600 did for sure), and the inability to have the work honored at other dealers I feel safe to say that I will never go back to a GM dealership with my vehicle despite nearly 7 years of reliable service with this specific service center.

My new (778 miles) Traverse was delivered to Russell Chevrolet December 15 for repair of collision damage. Nothing was apparently done for 3 weeks and now over 2 months later it is still not repaired and apparently nothing is happening while they wait for a $25.00 part for a 2017 vehicle which is "on backorder". The estimate originally had incorrect GM part numbers which may have been eventually corrected. I do not know what efforts have been made to obtain this part or a functional equivalent and never got any information until I started complaining to my insurance carrier and General Motors. And yet all I have been told is the part is "on backorder" and they don't know when it will be received, if ever. I have asked when it was placed on backorder and what efforts have been made to locate the part and the answer I received was "I don't know". I have never had a problem with Russell Chevrolet in the 30 years I have done business with them, but this is just a nightmare with no apparent end. Some of the blame lies with Safeco but plenty with Russell Chevrolet.

I went to their service department for an oil change and for them to change my headlight bulb. The service wasn't bad but I was charged $70 for them to change the headlight bulb. They didn't even come tell me before they did it that was what they would charge. I just got blind-sided. They have lost my business. They said it was difficult for them to change the bulb on their own brand of vehicle. What a rip!!!!

Let me start by saying the extended warranty they offer and I paid an extra $1500 for is a joke.. It never covers any thing and the service center will make sure of this from what I have experienced.. The people who work in their service center doesn't have enough respect to call you to inform of what they are going to do to you car and that isn't going to be covered before they do the work.. Even after you make it very clean that you want them to call you before they do anything that will cost you money.. They even give your their word that they will call but guess what the only call you get is to inform you that your car is done and that you now owe them money because this amazing warranty that you bought wont cover the cost.. The warranty is suppost to be bumper to bumper 75000miles if anything breaks they fix it you'll never pay more them a 100$ out of pocket and that is only suppost to be if you use a company that is outside of their an approved machanic list.. Even the dealerships sells ppl is like a bunch of buzzards that hover over you and pressurer the xxxx out of you.. Filling your head with a bunch of deals that is not at all what they act like they are.. I wish I would of never bought anything from this car lot and I will never take my car back to them again! Not even for any of my services I would rather pay out of pocket then give them another dollar of my money...

My inspector suggested I get my money back, they gave me the run-a-around. Finally got a refund, this show they knew it was a bad deal. Could have sued these folks! if you buy a used look it over very closely.
