Oops, I did it again! - kristigeneral

Oops, I did it again! This is my fourth time as a returning customer. If I didn't make it clear last time: each experience somehow manages to get better and better. At this point, I literally feel like part of the CarMax family the second I walk through the door. I will never, ever go anywhere else! 🚙✨

I have been dealing with this dealership for about 25 - Jillw

I have been dealing with this dealership for about 25 years. I have always had stellar service and I am currently dealing with Rosa who is very knowledgeable, willing to listen and explains everything very well. I always feel that she cares about whatever it is we are doing. I recently bought a Jeep Wagoneer S, an ev and she and I learned together as what to do. I really appreciate her dedication and kind patient nature. I also appreciate the overall quality and integrity of this dealership. Thank You! Jill Walthuis

Mid-Oct 2022, I contacted Auburn CDJR to inquire about - Tonic

Mid-Oct 2022, I contacted Auburn CDJR to inquire about ordering a truck and spoke with Josh. Came by around Oct 19th to place the order, Josh’s attitude shifted drastically upon meeting me. He was unprofessional, tossing the paperwork onto the desk and instructing me to fill it out with little regard. This treatment left me so unsettled that I stepped outside. After taking a moment to compose myself, I went back in to order the truck despite the unpleasant interaction because the dealership didn’t have a markup on TRX. Josh did not follow up with me over the next few months. The GM acknowledged the issue, stating that they had been advising Josh to improve his attitude and assured me he would personally oversee my order moving forward. On April 28th, 2023, the GM sent me photos of the truck, confirming that it had arrived and passed their PDI test. The following day, April 29th, I visited the dealership to pick up the truck, which had approximately 23 miles on it (it arrived with about 19). I pointed out a few issues with the trim, so I returned the next day to pick up the truck after they addressed them. The GM assigned another salesperson to assist me with the test drive, but this person was also rude (Sasha). During the test drive, an error message appeared on the dashboard, accompanied by warning lights, and the Assist and SOS button turned red. The salesperson dismissed my concerns, claiming it was just a software update issue. He took the truck to the back, reset it, and assured me the problem was resolved—but I soon realized that wasn’t the case. Over the following months, I returned to the dealership numerous times as they attempted to fix the issue by replacing the airbag, airbag module, and installing software updates. More messages appeared around Oct 2023, The SOS and Assist buttons turns red when these messages appears, the emergency lights come on, signaling a potential emergency. I’ve visited the dealership more than 30 times since, each time encountering new issues caused by their technician (dusty) while trying to figure out what the issue is. The dealership replaced the screen in an attempt to resolve the issue, but it didn’t work. In the process, they damaged the trim and the rearview mirror, which they eventually replaced. The ongoing repairs continue to show up on my Carfax report—even when the damage was caused by their attempts to fix the original Uconnect error. They later replaced the car’s main module and worked on the antenna wires, but none of these efforts resolved the issue. Additionally, they damaged my headliner, which required further repairs. Dusty called me picky for complaining about issues he would cause while trying to figure out the original issue. He even got in my face (in front of Ken the service manager) for calling him out on putting the screen wrong then admitting that he did in fact put it in wrong. After a year and three months of dealing with these problems, I am exhausted. I can no longer keep making the 30-minute drive to the dealership. So I lemoned the car Oct 2024! Ken the service manager told me we can’t reengineer the car and suggested I file for a buyback. Meanwhile, the GM told me, “We don’t want this car here anymore—we can’t fix it.” I filed for a buyback twice, but Chrysler refused both times. It’s currently in Lemon status. The GM, Brandon Gallawa, is a politician—he finds ways to talk around the real issues with their service. He knew I had a lemon the day I bought the car but wouldn’t buy it back himself or do the right thing, leaving me in a never-ending cycle. Ram is a low-quality product, Chrysler is not an ethical company, and this dealership just plays the game to make the sales. They know every car they sell will come back for service. Not one person I know who owns a Ram or Jeep is without problems. If you don’t want drama in your life, stay away from Chrysler—and definitely stay away from this dealer!

This dealership is horrible, the advertised price is not - Jeff

This dealership is horrible, the advertised price is not what you will pay. They will tack on hidden fees for options that are not original to the vehicle and are not in the advertised price. This is all a ploy so they can inflate their margin and force you to over pay for aftermarket options you didn’t ask for and they won’t remove. The FTC has warned 100’s of dealerships to stop these deceptive pricing tactics and this dealership still thinks they can get away with it. DON’T SHOP HERE!

The "Mario Difference" – Professionalism and Reliability - gregory f

The "Mario Difference" – Professionalism and Reliability at its Best! I came to this Indio dealership after a nightmare experience at a different dealer (Crystal Chrysler in Cathedral City), where my car sat for six days without a single thing being done to it. From my very first phone call to this Indio location, the difference was night and day. Mario was incredibly professional and efficient, getting me an appointment just two days later. Upon arrival, the entire team impressed me—from the receptionist who warmly greeted me to everyone else I encountered. Mario went above and beyond, ensuring a transmission specialist was on-site specifically for my car that day. He even gladly coordinated an Uber to get me to my rental car—a service the previous dealer flat-out refused to provide. What truly set this experience apart was the communication. Mario reached out at every single step, sending text updates so I knew exactly what was happening. He explained the diagnosis clearly, told me when the part was ordered, when it would arrive, and gave me an accurate completion date. The most interesting part? This dealership had my car for the exact same amount of time as the previous one (6 days). The difference is that this dealer actually repaired my car and communicated with me, while the other did absolutely neither. My car was ready exactly when promised, and Mario was just as courteous during pickup as he was on day one. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with this team. I highly encourage anyone who has had trouble with other dealers in the area to make the drive to Indio. It is well worth it to rest assured that both you and your car will be taken care of!

The customer service is great and our service advisor - Jthompson

The best, no bull car buying experience. - Cody

The best, no bull car buying experience. We called from out of town got the best price over phone drove to dealer. We were only ther for 2 hours for buying process, and transferring belongings to new car and installing front and rear dash cameras. Super friendly salesman Kurt, and finance Tom. Out of 15 dealerships we went to they were the only ones that didn't add mark ups and expensive addon that are garbage, and had a true straight up price.

Great experience. - Chris OReilly

Great experience. No messing around. In and out and everything works now. I want to Thank you guys

Could not have asked for a better experience if I tried. - Michael

Could not have asked for a better experience if I tried. It all starts from the top down. Lonnie went over the top to help me as an Owner and it's reflective of everyone else that works at GDCJ. Loren, Frank, Steve and even that xxxx bird that wanted to eat my face off. Thanks for everything. Michael Belcher

Our Sales Rep Kevin was great, very easy going, never - Josh S

Our Sales Rep Kevin was great, very easy going, never pushy, answered every question we had, and was very patient with us as we went through the process and worked to get us a great price on our new car and our trade in. Jose in finance was easy to work with patient and knowledgeable while walking us through everything. Mechanic was also kind enough to show us around our new car showing us valuable info like storage locations and how to access the spare tire if we ever needed to.

I appreciate how I was treated this time around as I - erikaluz28

I appreciate how I was treated this time around as I spoke to the manager directly, told her my car was leaking, took it in, was looked at and they fixed it quick. Jerry and the manager thank you. The times I’ve taken it in I have been helped, they do work with me, and that itself says a lot. Thank You again. Erika C.

Iman and Marlyn Made My Dream Car Happen You can post - anthonyzilobaf

Iman and Marlyn Made My Dream Car Happen You can post this same review on both Google and DealerRater: I cannot say enough good things about Iman and Marlyn at Hunter Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM. I came in with a very specific car in mind—a 2026 Subaru Forester Wilderness—and a financial commitment I needed to feel completely confident making. From the beginning to the final signature, they treated my goals, concerns and budget with genuine respect. This was not a quick or simple decision for me. There was a trade-in, an existing payoff, financing, GAP and many numbers that needed to come together correctly. I asked plenty of questions and carefully reviewed every detail. Iman and Marlyn remained patient, responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. They never made me feel like I was being difficult or like I was merely another transaction. Iman genuinely advocated for me and worked hard with his team to help structure the strongest deal possible. His honesty, encouragement and personal care meant a great deal to me. Marlyn was equally wonderful. She stayed in communication, helped make sure I received updated figures in writing, prepared everything for my arrival and made the final process feel organized and comfortable. Their collaboration was exceptional. What stood out most was that I truly felt they wanted to help me get the car I loved while still making a decision I could responsibly accept. They listened, followed through and continued working with me until everything finally came together. I drove away in the exact Forester Wilderness I had hoped for, at a price and overall deal I felt confident accepting. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful not only for the vehicle, but for the genuine care I received from both of them. Hunter’s management should know that Iman and Marlyn represent the dealership at its very best. If you are looking for people who will listen, communicate, collaborate and genuinely work for you, ask for Iman and Marlyn. I would confidently recommend them to my family and friends. Five stars, without hesitation.

In addition, all current incentives deals from the manufacturer was fully applied and subtracted with honesty & integrity. I did not even ask! or use my calculator for final reviewal. To Ashley: (with a special thanks to Dustin and Nick - tmt90703

To Ashley: (with a special thanks to Dustin and Nick too) I can honestly say this was the best car-buying experience I've ever had. From start to finish, Ashley greeted me outside when I drove up and I drove 2.5 hrs to come visit the dealership. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure I found the right vehicle rather than just making a sale. There was absolutely no pressure, every question was answered thoroughly, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Their communication, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service were outstanding. I cannot say enough. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about their customers and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Ashley... she is your go-to gal. You will be treated with above and beyond service. I will definitely be returning for future vehicle purchases and sending friends and family their way. Thank you for such an incredible experience! Warm regards, TMT

So - I leased a 2023 4xe grand Cherokee - the value of - Tomnafius

So - I leased a 2023 4xe grand Cherokee - the value of which is so low, they won’t even buy it back from me. So I decided I would tell my story to the sales manager Gabriella - said all the right things and was willing to address my concerns and work with me. Fast forward 5 days - nothing. No offer after repeated emails and texts with Eduardo (sales associate). Finally I tell them I am going to Carvana - oh yeah - they sell new Jeeps - with no dealer add ons. I saved over 3500 dollars in fees alone. Never had to negotiate - will or deal and they deliver the new car to me. Oh yeah- no money down. So I tell Gabriella I am purchasing at Carvana and she told she was sorry and that was that. Ok - so they didn’t want to sell me a car. Got it. 4 hours later I get a text from Gio - he apologizes for how I was treated and even took responsibility. Says he wants to make it right. I tell him he is got until 5 pm tonight before I sign my Carvana paperwork. This is the text I get after an hour “He said he will do that for you. He said he is going to oversee the whole transaction. We have your credit on file but haven’t submitted to anywhere is it okay if he runs it to see if he can get better then the 7% your getting ? He wanted to iron out the deal before running your info. Also he said he will do that Rubicon for you with no adds. He said he is embarrassed for how you have been treated and wants to make it right for you. He let me know too if you did want leather in the future it is something we can get done for you and he will sell it to you for our cost if it’s something later on you would be interested in” Apparently “he” is the general manager - the guy that can get anything done. They sent me two offers - guess what - fees. Why? Both were based on the reasoning their sister dealership in Ontario “figured in” the add ons. To bring this all home - I have purchased or leased 5 vehicles from Jeep of Ontario. No issues no problems and sales staff were up fron, honest and sincere. I lease one vehicle from Fontana, and I end up lying 3 $999 payments for things I have no idea what their for. And it was a lease. I was never going to use that stuff. Well - needless to say- after being ignored for 5 days and apparently - according to Gio - the general manager wants to make this right with no fees - rubicon at a good price (45000). In the end this was there deal to me (only because they never sent me a deal on a Rubicon, so wearing me down, I said screw it - what about a Willy’s. they gave me an offer with over $3400 in add-ons and then what the xxxx - $888 in “fees”. What fees cost close to a thousand dollars? Yeah - I not just leaving this review - they led me on for 5 days - always finding the angle to make me pay more. And don’t forget where this all started. They apologize for “dropping the ball” and the “he” or possible the general manger said he will take care of things to make it right - yet I got nothing from them. They led me on and until I would pay those fees. I am going to report them to every agency I can. I have never had a worst experience in my life. Oh yeah - they even knew my wife were teachers in Fontana for over 20 years - live in Fontana as well. But to them - who cares. They need to make there money. Thanks for nothing

Agreed on a truck price, then finance manager Amir ruined - Javier2000

Agreed on a truck price, then finance manager Amir ruined the deal. They tried sneaking in a $2,000 ceramic coating on a visibly damaged truck, then raised the price after I refused the warranty and challenged the rate. I walked out. Total waste of time.
