My purchase was all done remotely and it was a pre owned car...suffice to say when I took delivery there were no surprises. It was exactly as they portrayed it to be... UPDATE: After writing my first review, I was promptly contacted by a member of the customer service team. They provided me with a name and number to discuss my experience with the salesman, Raj, and explore possible solutions. I was connected with Kao, the manager, who was incredibly understanding and helpful over the phone. He sincerely apologized for the situation, emphasized their commitment to excellent customer service, and assured me they would address the matter internally. True to his word, I noticed a positive change in Raj’s attitude when I returned to pick up the car. Kao then generously offered to renegotiate the deal for the car I was interested in, and he gave me a fantastic offer! The next day, I came in to complete the paperwork, where I had the pleasure of working with Haig. He is truly a role model for car salesmen—an engaging conversationalist and a genuine car enthusiast. We had a great time talking about cars and motorsports for an extra 45 minutes! After Haig assisted us, we finalized the deal with Kao, who, to my surprise, is also a motorsports fan. Overall, if it weren’t for Kao and Haig, I don’t think I would have returned to this dealership, but thanks to their outstanding service, they completely changed my experience for the better. Huge thanks to both of them for going above and beyond!

After a very disappointing experience at another Subaru dealership, visiting Subaru Santa Monica turned out to be a completely different story. From the moment I arrived the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. While waiting for my service I walked through the showroom and was greeted right away by a friendly salesperson with a genuine smile and no pressure at all. My service advisor Kevin was calm, polite and very professional. When we discussed the engine air filter, he checked the condition and explained that based on how it looked it could wait a little longer and suggested replacing it during a future visit. I appreciated that honest and practical approach. The whole visit felt easy, respectful and customer-focused. While I was there I also noticed a new Subaru model in bright yellow — amazing shape and color. After driving my red one for a few years, I suddenly thought that maybe my next lease should be yellow. Thank you Kevin for the professional and courteous service. Experiences like this are exactly what make customers want to come back.

Bought a '22 MDX from this dealer in Aug, '21. I chose this dealer because they were the only one, at this time, given the shortage of vehicles, that had the MDX with the tech/adv packages we wanted, in our second color choice and they were only charging $2500 over MSRP (other dealerships were charging $4,000+ over MSRP) The dealership was clean, it was easy to get to, it was cool inside until they closed and turned off the air. I was still in the finance department after closing which the sun beats down on at the end of the day. The staff was friendly. They had air hockey which my wife and teenager kids loved. 4.5 stars, taking off .5 for turning off the air while customers were still there. 5 stars - it appears they use one of each model for test drives so that they could sell you another vehicle that had no test drives on it (ours had like 1.5 miles). I liked that. I don't want a car that's been test driven all over. 5 stars to the staff - all nice, friendly, and accommodating (up to a certain point) 5 stars to the finance department. The guy was nice. They met my comp pricing on add-ons that I wanted. I will complain about car pricing separately. Now, the not so good. 3 stars. They had one finance guy working, so at the end of the day, I was waiting a long time to buy my vehicle, so being there past closing was not my fault. 2 stars - The dealership had two mandatory add-ons - a brake light configuration/part change that flashes your brake lights briefly when you apply them. It's a good safety item in my opinion. Also, they pre-applied Permaplate on every vehicle, forcing you to pay for it. I would prefer to choose for myself rather than have them forced on me so that I could try to negotiate the price or go elsewhere. Not only were they selling over MSRP, but they were forcing items on you and charging a higher premium, getting more profit off of you. I don't like that. 3 stars - While there was a shortage of cars, so not their fault, like every other dealership, they jumped on the band wagon to grab a little extra cash, cashing in on supply and demand at the cost to the consumer. This is the cornerstone of all American business' today (in my opinion) and well within their rights, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I asked for $500 off the price, it was refused. Basically, they would not budge on anything and I wasn't bringing in a trade-in and I was using Acura (American Honda) financing, so more benefits to the dealership and none to me. 3 stars - I was outside, shooting the breeze with our sales guy after our purchase - nice man - when I happened to notice that the weather stripping around the large moon/sunroof was coming out. I guess whoever was getting the vehicle ready for purchase, or when they were applying the Permaplate before purchase, didn't notice or bother to say anything about that very visible issue. This meant I already had to bring the car back for it's first fix and I hadn't even driven my car off the lot yet. They did give me an MDX loaner car for the warranty work. I did not hate my experience here, I just didn't like the sour taste left behind from some of the less than optimal treatment given the dealership's policies and sales tactics. I originally planned to give them a 3 star review, but if you take the average of what I did score, it's closer to 4.

When I decided to change from a gas vehicle to an electric vehicle, I was overwhelmed and doubting my decision. The entire process with this dealership was wonderful! My salesman Dennon was the great. He was professional, helpful, and his knowledge of the car helped me go over the pros and cons and I decided to purchase the ID.5. He had to call around to local dealerships that would agree swap vehicles so I could get the model and color combo I wanted. I’m so sorry, but I didn’t catch the names of the sales manager and general manager, but they went above and beyond to get me all of the rebates and discounts I had available to me for purchasing an electric vehicle. Ryan Gonzalez, the finance manager was equally impressive. His thoroughness explaining the additional coverages they offered was outstanding. He made sure that I understood the additional coverage I chose and his professionalism and expertise made me confident I wasn’t buying something I didn’t need or wouldn’t use. I give this dealership and their awesome team a 5-star review. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Easiest deal I ever had. I had looked for this truck at many regional dealers but they all had 3,000 I. Magic dealer charges. These guys said that they have dealer options but all are optional. I walked in at 12, waited a few minutes for Matt. I was home with my new truck filled and washed by 2:15, and I live 20 minutes away. Best price. Better service. No pressure. No bait and switch.

Winn Volkswagen is AMAZING!!!!! I took my 2022 Jetta in for my 30,000 mile maintenance. While I was waiting I went to see the Sales Manager, Ash since my lease is up in August, I asked him to recommend a salesman for me. A gentleman by the name of Paulo came over and he was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! This was a breath of fresh air for me since my previous dealership leaves a lot to be desired. Paulo got me into a new lease 2025 Jetta SEL with no down payment. He made everything so easy and stress free. My electric Taycan was completely discharged as I got home at midnight and even the 12volt battery was dead because the car had no power i was partially on my driveway but my charging cable did not reach. Had ro leave it like that overnight. I contacted Santa Clarita service dept in the morning and told.them of my situation. The technician. I spoke with was completely helpful and rght away told me that the foreman could come out and assess the situation. Brian called me in 20 minutes that he was on his way. He jumped started the car so he could access the trunk and power the 12v battery and open the charge port. He ran a diagnosis and then pulled out an extension cable so I could charge. I am so gratefully and thankful for the excellent customer service skills of the service department. What a life saver.

The technician replaced the brake light bulb in just a few minutes. They also performed a multi-point inspection and checked tire pressure.
