I had the most delightful car buying experience EVER and I have purchased quite a few in my days! Alex M. (Sales Representative) , Ryan (finance manager), and Michael (sales manager) are extremely professional, friendly, and customer-centric. Their listed price for the vehicle purchased was accurate, I was not subjected to any of those silly games most dealerships play with hidden fees and unnecessary add ons. I got an amazing deal on a CT4 for a phenomenal value, so much so I drove over 2.5 hours from the Inland Empire just to purchase at Cadillac at Calabasas. The purchasing process was seamless and expeditious, I was in and out in a couple of hours. The dealership is very new, modern, immaculate, and easily accessible, it's right off the freeway. I would definitely trek to do it again if I had to. This is my fourth and I don't anticipate it being my last Cadillac purchase. I will definitely purchase from this dealership again. Dealership provided the 20k service complimentary since I had recently purchased the car used and there was not a record of it being performed. ETA for inspection was accurate. Was checked in right away. Waiting area/snacks was sufficient. Did not address all of my concerns outside of the basic inspection I asked about having a 3rd key made in order to access the Volvo app or if there was another way to access it so I’m unable to use all the features. Also, there was 1 tire that was more worn than the others but still had about 10k of tread left according to tire centers. Volvo keeps attempting to contact due to a “declined repair” which isn’t even necessary.

I've been going here for nearly 10 years and the service has gone down the tubes. In short, I had to return 4 times to get a window leak fixed. I was provided no concession and was even incorrectly charged for the service. I had to follow-up 4 times over 2 weeks before someone called me back to address it (when I was told they would get back to me the next day). Just really poor service, expectations, etc. I will never use them again

The entire team I worked with from the sales associate, sales manager, to financing were straightforward and honest. No nonsense, pressure tactics, or ridiculous haggling. There was no window sticker on my car and they refused to provide one when I bought it- illegal. They overcharged me from a price we agreed upon and included things that I made clear I did not want, like a paint protectant. They said they sent a refund to Volvo Financing to address this, but didn’t. I’m still trying to get things straightened out. By far, the most shady and dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with.

I was there for repair service. I was quoted a price that was very high ($900) for the repair (which I know should cost around $600). But I left the car for repair anyway. I was thinking, I probably won't come back again. Upon completion of the car, I was told that the quote was high and there were parts that did not need to replace/repair as originally thought. My cost bill was reduced to a very reasonable cost of $600 without me asking. Or course, the better will be that it was quoted right the first time because it could have driven business away.

Alright, so the service this dealership offers is absolutely unbelievable. From the sales manager, Lance, on down. I’m a small business owner myself, so knowing that customer service means is absolutely everything, I can say without hesitation, that Volvo Cars Carlsbad has been the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. Not only did they make the sales process easy and hassle-free, they explained everything to us thoroughly and worked HARD to accommodate our budget and very specific needs. I was shocked that Volvo Financial was able to beat our local credit union’s APR. The financing process was handled smoother and faster than anything I’ve experienced in past with dealerships. Thats a testament to these guys being absolute pros, knowing the system they’re working within, and the contracts they execute. Not only was it a quick experience, but they thoroughly explained every step along the way. We never, even slightly felt like we were being “sold.” The cherry on top of the cake was that they made not one, but two trips to our home when we left things at the dealership. We live in Escondido, so that’s a long trip across the 78 in rush hour traffic. Olin, our sales rep, even showed up with my 4 year old daughter’s favorite stuffy buckled in to the front seat when she left it at the dealership. To this day, she says to me “daddy, do you remember that nice man who sold you your car?” Yep, that means a lot to her and to me. Look, I may have gone into way too much detail with this review, but my experience was truly extraordinary with Volvo Carlsbad. It’s why we went from a Lexus and a Mercedes household to a 2 Volvo household in two weeks time. If you’re looking to buy a Volvo in San Diego or Orange counties, make the trip out to Volvo Carlsbad, you will not be disappointed.

Negotiated with the manager for the entire week and planned on a coming weekend to drive over 6 hours to purchase. I begged the manager to hold it for literally 1 day because I was driving from a different state, but he said he couldn't. I offered a deposit, but he stated CA policy states that car dealers can't accept deposits to hold a car. I was already prepared with a bank cashier's check and ready to get up at 4 AM to drive over 6 hours for pickup. Volvo Escondido sold my car literally less than 16 hours before I got a chance to get there and pay for it! One of the most disappointing car buying experiences of my life. How would you feel? Profits over decency.
