Exceptional Service and Outstanding Customer Care at West Herr Subaru of Lockport I’ve historically used the Orchard Park location for servicing due to proximity, but after my recent experience in Lockport, I am officially switching service centers. When the check engine light came on in my ’21 Forester alongside acceleration issues, Orchard Park couldn't see me for a week and suggested Lockport wouldn't be able to accommodate a loaner vehicle for me. By chance, I called the Lockport service center directly and spoke with Cole—and the difference in communication was night and day. Cole didn't just book an appointment; he took the time to listen, diagnose the urgency of my situation, and proactively problem-solve. He was able to get me in within two days, clearly explained our options, and offered a seamless solution: a shuttle to work and a promise to prioritize a mid-day update and loaner options if extensive repairs were needed. Thanks to Cole’s efficiency and clear communication, my car was diagnosed with a faulty thermal control valve and fully repaired the very same day-despite the extensive work needed for such a repair. The shuttle team was equally exceptional, ensuring I made it to and from work right on schedule. Cole exemplifies true leadership, operational excellence, and genuine empathy. Having a vehicle break down is stressful, but Cole and the entire Lockport team turned a potential nightmare into an effortless, 5-star experience. I cannot recommend Cole and West Herr Subaru of Lockport enough—they have gained a customer for life!

I could write a lengthy review concerning my experience at Karp Automotive Service, but I think short and sweet serves us all best. Do not use them for service. I brought my car in for a simple oil change and inspection, and they turned the request into a $1,600 bill by claiming I voided the warranty and I needed a new oil pan. When I informed the service manager that as a 20 year loyal customer, I am disgusted by their behavior and I would be giving them a bad review, she told me to take my car and leave. She also said that Karp will no longer be servicing my vehicles. She told me my car had been rendered undrivable by them, and I needed to call a tow truck. I did and brought it to an honest mechanic who serviced the vehicle for $157 not $1600. I guess they think it’s easy to scam an elderly woman out of $1,600 but the charges were so inflated that they had to be questioned. Short and sweet…don’t use Karp Automotive to service your vehicles and if they can’t service them why would you buy from them to begin with?

We noticed the improvements in all areas, Trade value, finance etc. We came in just to see what our options were and walked out a few hours later with our "26 Silverado RST. No Pressure. Jay Gomez was great. And Brian got us into a new insurance carrier with greater coverage for $180 less per month. Bonus!

Extremely Disrespectful Experience Avoid This Dealership I had a scheduled appointment on June 12, 2025, and drove in from Queens specifically to test drive a vehicle we were seriously interested in. Despite confirming our intent ahead of time, we were told upon arrival that no test drive plates were available because the dealership was closing. This was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of our time. To make matters worse, the sales representative we dealt with was shockingly unprofessional rude, dismissive, and even used foul language toward my husband during the conversation. It was the most disrespectful experience we’ve ever had at a dealership. Customer service and basic courtesy should never be optional especially for serious buyers. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. We’ve taken our business elsewhere and won’t be returning.

I left my 2021 Atlas Cross Sport at Teddy Volkswagen on March 12, 2026 for a dashboard warning showing the emergency call system was not working (a safety feature). I was told diagnostics would take 24–48 hours. After multiple follow-up calls and no returned messages, I eventually learned a part had been ordered and a Volkswagen Technical Assistance case opened. I picked up my vehicle on March 14 and was told I would be contacted when the part arrived. I have still received no update and no repair timeline, and the safety system remains unresolved. Communication from the service department was extremely poor. If a dealership keeps a customer’s only vehicle for diagnostics, they should at minimum provide updates and follow through. I am currently working with Volkswagen Customer Care to resolve this issue.

My experience from January was a textbook shell game. ​When I walked in with my wife, I was met by three different people who looked us in the eye and lied. One man shook our hands, patted us on the shoulder, and promised, "We'll take care of you," while giving me a false name and position. After seven months of digging, I discovered that I never even met the real General Manager. ​I realized the extent of the deception only after bringing the truck back to the service desk to address the issues I noticed during the test drive—specifically the engine ticking from the leaking exhaust manifolds and the steering shimmy. It was there that I was informed of a "down payment" requirement for a warranty fix, which led me to uncover the truth about my deal. The finance manager had pulled off a classic bait-and-switch: my $6,000 down payment disappeared on one copy of the contract but reappeared when reported to the finance company, while the price of the truck was inflated from $30,000 to $39,864. They funneled that money into DOWC warranties I never asked for and never signed for. This has cost me thousands of dollars in financing charges over the life of the loan. To make matters worse, my contract states a 72-month term, but my finance company’s app shows a 73-month term. ​I also realized that the repairs they tried to charge me for should have been covered under their own 60-day/3,000-mile "good to go" guarantee. Doing my own research was a gold mine that finally answered questions we haven't been able to solve for seven months. There are names appearing in these reviews that aren't on any official rosters. It is shocking what goes on with these dealerships and the games they play. I am thorough, and I am preparing for my day in court because I have the documentation to prove exactly what happened. ​Check your paperwork closely before you take that truck or car home, even if you just finished signing the deal. Compare every copy to ensure your down payment is applied correctly and the loan terms match. Research the staff before you go so you know exactly who you are dealing with.

Dealer a joke, I had to pay both the same month for my old lease and the new one because it fell on the day after payment, even though I'm a repeat customer. Payment huge for a 2024 Kia Seltos. Car is like cracker jack box car, constant issues since I got it and the service center is awful. You can wait weeks for minor issues and they offer an uber home. What good is that if you work. I'm so dissatisfied with them and this car!

Worst place to buy a car. I bought a car at the end of September 2023. Eight months later, I still have no title. The title they tried to give me has an 8k mile difference from what is on the car. When I spoke with them in February, they were going to fix it. I have called countless times and left messages. They reject my call and refuse to call me back to fix this error.
