In murphy for vacation and our 2017 explorer misfired and the manual said to have it serviced immediately. King Ford refused to look at it even after we explained the situation. Associate Shawn states they were to busy and it would be next Tues before they could look at it. We had to drive it over to Blue Ridge Ford, who looked at it immediately.

Looked everywhere for a larger truck. Looked at f250 2500 chevy and ram. Settled in on the f250. Communicated with many dealers and Stearns was the best. Started with Delaine, the internet manager. What stuck out to me was that I asked a lot of the truck and she with no hesitation gave me to another salesman. She said that Theo was the most knowledgeable about trucks. I am used to sales people "owning" me. Second thing was that Theo did get the answers to all of my questions - the right answer not the generic one. Phil, the finance manager gave me all the add ones they usually sell you for extra coverage, etc but didn't make it an ordeal. If you are looking for a dealer with good people, go to Stearns.

Pricing was provided and after a few minutes of negotiations I received a fair price. The entire process was simple and they were respective of my time. I went to this dealer because I saw the car I wanted on AutoTrader at a great price. I called and set up an appointment to purchase that car. I took the AutoTrader ad in and said I wanted to purchase the car at the price they advertised on AutoTrader. After an hour they agreed and began the process of getting the car ready and the paperwork ready. That took another 3 hours. I was exhausted by the time we got in to sign the paperwork. I asked again that I was getting the agreed upon price. They showed me the price but I missed that the price included my down payment. They did not give me the agreed upon price and I ended up paying more. Now I know it was my fault for missing it on the paperwork and I did sign it. However, I believe they played a waiting game with me to wear me out to the point that I just wanted to sign the paperwork and leave. And they didn't even prep the car for me all of this time. I was dirty with debris in the engine compartment. It was on the lot for 6 months collecting debris and had water spots that were hard to remove. Just beware of these types of tricks and if the deal doesn't look right be prepared to leave.

I contacted dealerships about F250 advertised on autotrader spoke with salesperson to check available on the vehicle and she told me they still had it to come on down and check out the vehicle. I wasn't able to go that evening and was going the next morning. I received text that morning from salesperson asking if I was coming to look to the vehicle and I told her I was and she told me great that she would let the used car manager know is was on the way to view the truck. I went to the dealership and asked for the salesperson like I asked to do when I got there they told me she had left for the day and it was only 11 in morning and they don't open till 9. She I spoke with a different salesperson and told me that the truck had sold the day before after I had just been told that morning to come on down and check it out to see if it would be something I was interested in. I work 3rd shift so I stayed up to go look at the pickup and get there just to be told it sold the day before. I live a hour away from the dealership which made it even bigger waste of my time and lose of sleep just to see something that wasn't there to start with even though I had been told that morning before I came to come on down. I believe they where just trying to get me to come down to see if they could sale me something else they had on the lot.

I’ve bought several new fords from Deacon Jones Ford since 2001 and I was also an Employee (I left on good terms) Shane Bjoring is the best salesman I have ever dealt with. sales and finance departments are the best around. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the incompetent wash/cleanup crew that prepares cars for delivery. There is generally 2-4 of them back there at a time and and it still takes them up to two hours to wash a vehicle. Additionally when I bought my new 2017 mustang GT, there were deep scratches in the trunk through the clearcoat. Instead of telling management, they used a dealer name plate to cover it up. this was confirmed when the detail crew supervisor admitted to seeing the paint damage and he was the one who covered it up. Once again, I experienced issues with the detail crew not only as a customer but as an employee. If ford would change their surveys and make delivery and cleanup a separate rating that won’t hurt the salesman, you would see a lot more complaints. fortunately, Shane my salesman had the flaws fixed in my paint. I’m overall very satisfied with the buying experience but if I was the General manager, I would Fire every single one of those guys washing cars. Just my opinion.

Due to time limits I decided I would do my first online car purchase. I sent the info on the car we wanted to six dealers, and Hilbish (Candace Thompson, online sales) was the only one that followed my simple instructions. The others just couldn't seem to understand. The price quote from Hilbish was the best by quite a bit of money. I made an appointment to meet with Dennis Rowland (sales), and the deal was sealed within 10 minutes. This is the 8th new vehicle we have bought from Hilbish, and was really glad they gave us the best price.
BTW, they also have a great service department. I have been dealing with them for over 30 years.
A frustrating 2 months - jpolk5319
Ive had to get my car towed here 4 times now in the last 2 months. all because my car would stop starting. Turns out I got a bad part the first time i went in. which means what they "fixed" the other times were xxxxxxxx. now i'm 1800 dollars deep on what should have been a 700-800$ fix.
Plus trying to get anyone on the phone has been a hassle. Gary would always say he would call me back in "just a few minutes" or "less then 15 min" and I would have to call back hours later or the next day. But I guess he gets that from his boss, Linda, who also has been having trouble returning my calls.
I'm still waiting for my car to be finished, and I have no idea what is even going on now. Monday Linda was supposed to call me back. Tuesday I called and she said she will get the information and call me back after lunch time. Now it's very early Wednesday morning and I'm waiting for them to open to try calling Linda again. Maybe she will have some new for me.
Runaround for Interstate Drivers - Snowbird
Our 2016 TitaniumEdition Escape had a lower splash shield come loose and dragging on I-95 between Florence, SC and Lumberton , NC while driving north from Fort Lauderdale to Boston.as thousands due daily. We found Crossroads Ford at 6:15Am and waited until the service dept opened at 7:30AM. We were the FIRST customer that morning. The original diagnosis was possible loose bolts but due to the distance driving with the broken part was about 58 miles, the panel needed to be replaced. Remember it was a brand new car with 13k miles under FULL warranty! Part was determined to be a warranty item but not in stock...we were told it would take about 2-3 hours between getting the part 30 miles away and installing which we agreed to. We left for breakfast and returned about 1hr later to be told the part was Now NOT warranty but the part was rigged to get me going to Boston about 800 miles away..REALLY impressed!! I insisted and now the part would not be available until about NOON but the mechanics were at lunch and we would be taken care of when they returned. It was almost 2PM when the car was fixed.. It took a whopping six (6) bolts to attach. The other customers even made comments and we were basically made NO RUSH between the service mgr and the mechanic assigning the work to be done. We were basically told to take the broken part to the Ford dealer where we bought the car.

I must admit buying a car is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had in the past. However, at Crossroads Ford It was a breeze. I will admit that I test drove and attempted to deal with a competitor (same manufacturer) and that did not go well at all. The buying experience was smooth and we got a great deal! Frances was the most professional and best salesman I have ever worked with. Will definitely be back.

Nick is the nastiest attitude person went in there the other day to try to ask him some questions he came he was too busy to deal with a customer that's not the way to customer service he had an attitude so I got attitude he needs to be disciplined I had left this dealership after doing business at this dealership for 25 years I moved to a new dealership was wanting to bring my business back to this dealership but after I walked in and was exposed to Nick's attitude I'm not coming back on this something done about him they're too busy to have any customer-oriented response this is not a customer oriented business if you wanting to have a customer experience it's the wrong place
