Seriously misdiagnosed engine problem and illegally tried to charge me for it rather than fix it under the warranty. The fix would have been useless anyway, they ignored the actual problem. They also refused to do both recalls. They left all my doors unlocked and the glove box and console where open and items stolen from the vehicle. Will update this after my complaints are filed and resolved with The F.T.C. & Attorney General. Possible lawsuit forthcoming. I suggest people educate themselves of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Your state also has many other consumer protections for when a car dealer may be misinforming you of your rights.

Maguire’s of Duncannon is FANTASTIC. I grew up in central PA but have lived in Pittsburgh since 2019. In 2023 I was visiting central PA and purchased a pre owned Bronco that I got for a great price w/ an excellent value on my trade. I work remotely so over the years I have gone to visit family and get my Bronco serviced at Maguire’s. 3 years and 50k miles of ownership later, I ran into my first issue with my Bronco. It was having a powertrain fault, so I had to take it to a close by Ford dealer in the Pittsburgh area. That Ford dealer tried to tell me I needed $11,000 worth of repairs and tried four times in that conversation to just pass me off to the sales department for a trade. I was suspicious of their motivations and intentions after that, so I paid an auto transporter to take my car from Pittsburgh to Duncannon because I trust the team at Maguire’s. They discovered there was a big repair needed but quoted less than half of what the dealer in Pittsburgh did and then even worked with corporate Ford to lower my out of pocket expense for this big repair job to just be for the labor. So, Maguire’s service department literally saved me $9,000 by having integrity, being honest and appreciating my business as a customer. I still have a repair bill (all cars need some costly-ish maintenance at some point) but me needing to pay about $2,000 vs the Ford dealer in Pittsburgh that asked me for $11,000 says everything anyone needs to know about the importance of a solid relationship with the dealer you do business with. Maguire’s Ford has absolutely EARNED my business for life. And a special shoutout to Service Advisor Jay but really their whole team at Maguire’s is amazing.

Discussed my issues with service in person and scheduled service. They actually came to my home picked up my car and delivered it for absolutely no charge and no hassle. I had my car detailed as part of my service and it was like getting a brand new car delivered to my driveway! I am over the top happy with this dealership and will be a forever customer.

RE: Collision center. 3 -5 time frame to replace a rear bumper took 8+ days. We had to call as the body shop never contacted us regarding the delay. They said an ordered part was wrong, but didn't know until 6 days after drop off. In person visit yielded no further explanation. Will NEVER use this collision center again. A simple courtesy call regarding the problem would have been much appreciated, but apparently there is no concern for customer service with Ciocca

We recently purchased a new truck from this dealership. The vehicle itself is great, and the sales process initially went smoothly. However, the experience changed significantly once we decided to finance the vehicle through our personal bank instead of the dealership. After informing the staff of our decision, the atmosphere became noticeably less welcoming. When it came time to complete the paperwork, we were not brought into the finance office and instead signed the final documents while standing in the lobby. No one reviewed the paperwork with us or walked us through the documents before signing. This stood out to us because we have previously purchased several vehicles from a sister dealership in the same group and had positive experiences there. We expected a similar level of professionalism and customer service. We are happy with the truck, but the final part of the purchasing experience did not reflect the level of customer service we anticipated.

Got an oil change there recently on a 6.7l diesel... Checked level 2 days later, 3.5 quarts overfilled... Unbelievable micky mouse operation. It's Fred Beans certified pre-owned just bought with their warranty and the guy basically said they won't honor any warranties, they'll write it up so you're at fault, you tell them there's an issue, 240/hr to diagnose and we can't trek you if it's covered till afterwards. The steering wheel was never straight, alignment is perfect. Know what he said, it's a work truck, they're never straight. I'm not looking for perfect but it's obvious someone had the steering wheel off or the pinion arm and put it back on a tooth or two off, meanwhile hear rubbing in the steering column when the wheel is turned... Buying it I was told everything was covered for first year. They'll lie right to your face. 3.5quarts of oil overfilled... that alone will destroy an engine.

2nd request for service while receiving milage service and inspection. (Purchased at CHarper) Honda CRV 2020 and paint is pealing between door frames and driver side head and tail lights have moisture leak. Service agent stated car out of warranty. Both issues are honda manufacture defect and not a warranty issue. Wonder if CHarper will step up and assist now!
