This should not be the case of a vehicle costing almost $30,000. I was told the tires had 10% wear left when I purchased, but that did not warrant dealership replacing them.

At issue, ford Transit cargo van in which we have had to the dealer no less than 10 times for oil change, tire rotation, starting at 49,000 miles after purchasing from enterprise rental. While the dealership and service department we ready to recommend service items, NOT ONCE,even after the 100K mileage and the 130K, 150K mileage service recommend a transmission flush-fluid. Instead, we were told by service that 150K-200K is the best. Well, at 167K miles, the transmission is having a hard time getting into 3 gear. Scheduled an appointment for inspection and such. It took 9 days for the inspection once in the dealership facility. Now the problem is compounded by which the sub frame had to be removed, transmission pan and filter inspected. Report; some metal shavings- new transmission-$12,000.00. Warranty, 12 months, 12,000 miles only. Declined repairs, had to pay 2100.00 for the inspection. Now once thee vehicle was driven back to my businss <3 miles, the check engine light comes on. Now there are issues with th O2 sensor by thee cat converter. Fortunately found an independent auto place, for 3K cheaper, new transmission with 3 yr 100,00 mile warranty. I will NEVER trust them to service any vehicles of mine again.

Took my 21 F 150 Powerboost in for warranty service on transmission. Transmission was shifting harsh and missing shifts. They kept the truck nearly two weeks and claimed to have changed the valve body controller and transmission fluid. If anything, it drives worse now than it did before. I told the service advisor - Judy about the poor service. She apologized and told me the service manager would contact me. I never got a call back. I bought an extended warranty with the truck that requires I take it to them for service. I live in Florence and it is an hour trip up there and back so not very convenient. I don't recommend anyone buy their extended warranty because if limits where you can get warranty work.

I recently had to have my brand new 2025 F 150 worked on not happy with the situation. Then when I took the truck in everyone was fantastic. I was greeted by the service advisor and told what to expect. I was told I could wait, or they would get me transportation home. I choose to wait. Then both the service manager and even the owner checked in for a follow up to make sure I was being taken care of. When I bought the truck, they said that they would provide service. Today they proved it. Thanks to all.

If you want to have your car serviced at Crossroads Ford - Mark Welsh

If you want to have your car serviced at Crossroads Ford of Apex expect to pay very high prices. Their diagnostic fee is $250, basically the price you pay for them to tell how much they will overcharge you for a repair. The labor to fix my problem took two (2) hours and cost $410 on the invoice, so their shop rate for labor is $205 dollars an hour!! On the final bill the line item for labor was listed as “supplemental work” and no breakdown of the hours or type of work for the job. There was also a charge for $40 in shop supplies to replace a horn?!? I asked an independent auto repair shop what they charged for the same repair including initial diagnosis, repair labor and part and the total was less than half of what this dealer charged. Not only is this service department ridiculously expensive, but I believe they will do everything they can to take as much money from you as possible with utter lack of transparency. Essentially, these folks are everything you would want to avoid when repairing your car. My advice is don't use them!!
