I purchased a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox LT FWD with 1.5 liter engine, lane keeping assistance, navigation, adaptive cruise control, front bucket seats, emergency/automatic braking, cross traffic alert, CVT & a lot of other modern features from Castriota Chevrolet of Hudson, FL. I have purchased over 15 new cars/trucks/SUVs in the last 60 years (yeah I’m old) and feel this experience was the best because of their friendly professional staff, huge selection, and competitive pricing. I began my search by looking for the model I wanted locally online and comparing pricing. After I visited a couple of dealerships I found two Equinoxes that I liked and I requested an out-the-door (OTD) quote from several of these dealers. I settled on Castriota Chevrolet based on their selection and pricing. They are a large volume family-owned dealership so they offer better pricing than their corporate competitors. From this and past experiences I find it’s better to shop at a family-owned dealership vs. the corporate ones that refuse to negotiate. My first interaction was with Kenny Enox, my salesman to request an OTD quote. His sales manager, Terry Bedard provided the OTD quote as requested within a couple hours. Since it was the best offer that I received, I decided to buy it from them. When I showed up I received the exact vehicle & exact price that I was quoted by Terry. No tricks. Also, they gave me the best price for my trade in. Kenny provided me with a test drive, helped with the initial paperwork, & provided a thorough introduction to my new Equinox with a lot of modern features. Kenny took about a two hours to introduce my wife & I to all the features, especially syncing the phone. Kenny walking us thru all the electronics. Joe from their business office prepared and finalized all the paperwork and discussed the additional extended warranties available. No high pressure, arm twisting like I’ve experienced at other dealers. Castriota Chevrolet of Hudson has been selling Chevrolets since 1979 and based on my current and past experiences with them I can see why they have an outstanding reputation of providing a friendly, honest sales buying experience. No pressure. No old school tricks. No gimmicks. No foolish “market” adjustments. This is probably the last vehicle that I will buy since I’m 87, but I will buy another vehicle from them again if I need to. Thank you Kenny, Terry, Joe & Alex Castriota for a great sales experience.

I'm in Delray Beach FL, 3.5 hours from Vann Gannaway. The local dealers that had or in transit the Trax were tacking on bogus fees of $2k-$3K over MRSP for dent protection, extra dealer fees, etc in addition to the standard prep fee of $1K. I refused to pay over MSRP. Someone on the Chevy trax forum recommended Vann Gannaway and many reviews mentioned Jayme as salesperson. I called him and I honestly didn't believe there were no additional fees and even the dealer's prep was only $484. He emailed me the info, had a yellow trax in stock, and within the week I wired the $, drove up 3.5 hrs and drove back with the yellow trax. Transaction was flawless. Too bad we don't live closer. I HIGHLY recomend this dealership !!!! And all the employees there were so friendly. I'm also from Long Island, NY and this was by far the best dealer experience ever.

I called to discuss some advertising literature I received in the mail. As soon as I mentioned the literature appeared to be somewhat misleading...Mr. Allison became rude, condescending, and abruptly hung up on me. I will never buy from them as a result of his actions, not to mention the deliberate misleading advertising aimed at getting you on their lot. I know, I know...all dealerships do it to a point...but this was by far the most sleazy piece of mail I have ever received from a car lot. It is certainly not conducive to establishing trust between a potential buyer and the dealership. As a result of this...if you are going to buy from them I would suggest that you get everything in writing.

I had an absolute nightmare of an experience. I would implore everyone to read this post before making a decision to bring their vehicle here. I took my car there on 03 Sep 2024 for a "studder" when accelerating and had a missfire p0306 code. They couldn't duplicate a problem, on the drive home from picking it up it did it again. Had the tech drive with me, he said it was the torque converter. Days later they diagnosed it as bad lifters and said it was a 3 day job. 2 weeks go by waiting for parts and I have to call to get any updates. Now they stated that there were customers in front of me and id have to wait. I had to call again and again for weeks for them to give me any updates. The car didn't get done till 17 Oct 2024, over a MONTH for a 3 day job. Then they said my battery didn't die but had a bad cell. I.e. someone probably shorted it out, and a new OEM one was $498!! I refused to pay for the most expensive battery in history and for something that broke while in their care. They said the battery is over $320 (so that $180 for a 5 min job to loosen 2 bolts). They settled on me paying 1/2 of a new battery, totaling $100 (that means the battery is actually $200).I went there the next day, fri Oct 18. When I got there, I sat across from Cara at her desk while I waited to pay my $100. Cara(the service manager) made a big deal about how much computer work it took to bring the battery price, and then at the end mockingly said as she was typing the price into the computer: “ok your price, $100, our price that were paying $221”. I stayed silent, paid and left. Come to find out that they put in an AC Delco battery from an autoparts store! Then the car the whole drive home made a rubbing noise while turning, and it would get better as the car warmed up. My wife brought it back and the mechanic said it was just a inner fender well that was rubbing, which didn't make sense on why it would go away as the car warmed up, but they "fixed" it and sent her on her way. But before I can bring it back in, while waiting on a red light, the engine violently missfired, shook and shut off. I paid for a tow yet again and they said they messed up putting the engine back together from the original job! The car was done 31 Oct 2024, 58 days later! I asked about the rubbing noise and they said they couldn't duplicate it. The rubbing progressively got worse so I brought it back in a 3rd time. They then diagnosed it as a bad differential. On 08 Nov 2024 they fixed it and I finally picked the car up after over 2 MONTHS LATER!! But long and behold the rubbing noise is less but still obviously present, so it is not fixed. I didn't get a rental car until over 30 days in and I had to demand one, it was not offered. We were not allowed to get a comparable size vehicle which led to us canceling a family vacation. I ended up missing multiple days of work to continuously pick up and drop off the car that cost me over $200 in tow fees. This has been the worst automotive experience I've had in my life, and I will never bring my car back there. Please reply or reach out anyway possible and I will be more than happy to answer any questions.

Beware! The sales Mgr who allegedly replaced the Shady staff (he said) is a bold, blatent lieing thief! Unscrupulous, lacks morals and ethics, the shadiest I have ever seen! I am repeat customer who has learned from them what I can expect. Dealership staff needs to become educated regarding FTC Trade Regulation Rules along with The Consumer Protection Act and laws. Appreciation of local consumer is non-existant and a deceiving lie.
