My son drove to Fairway Ford today to look at a 2025 Ford - gupegui2012

My son drove to Fairway Ford today to look at a 2025 Ford Expedition Max that apparently was transferred to another dealership. He was dissapointed and I must say that Bill Poston, sales manager made the day well worth the trip. I called Bill and explained the dissapointment after my son made an appointment to test drive the vehicle and possibly purchase it and subsequently the vehicle was transferred to their sister dealership in San Bernadino. I spoke with Bill and he had the vehicle returned to the dealership within a little over an hour. Now that is great customer service and a commitment to excellence. Bill and I spoke several times during the day and we talked numbers relative to this used vehicle in comparison to a new one. We spoke about the difference in payments and even costs considering the used would require an ESP extended warranty. Bill was a true professional and his demeanor and expertise in making deals happen could be felt in our phone calls. Bill stated he could put my son in a new 2027 Ford Expedition Max at a deal nobody could refuse. Bill was right. At $68k plus tax and license my son drove away with a new 2027 Black Expedition Max with gray leather interior loaded. His payment is a few dollars more than if he purchased the used vehicle with a warranty. Bill took the time to not only take my 4 phone calls but also to speak with my son personally and put him at ease on such a large consumer purchase and all of this while working 7-10 other deals from the tower. It's sales managers and individuals like Bill Poston who make a difference in the automotive industry and life in general. A truly stellar individual and representative for the Ford brand and professional that customers can no doubt rely on. Transparency, professionalism, caring, skilled, experienced and knowledgeable traits are what sets Bill apart from others and his efforts are truly appreciated! Once the deal was done Bill called me and we chatted for a while and I look forward to meeting him in the near future. Thanks Bill! Highly recommended!

Really came through on my 2023 Bronco. - msetka

Really came through on my 2023 Bronco. My original 2021 4 door automatic order was delayed again to a 2024. South Bay Ford had a 2 door manual on the lot. Because of the issues on my original order they gave me a great price on the 2 door that more than made up for loosening 2 doors and the automatic. After driving it now for a few days I’m very happy with the quality, price, and South Bay Ford (not so much for Ford Motor Company with their total lack of communication and ability to produce my original order)

I came here to sell my car after receiving calls and - AMBRUCE04

I came here to sell my car after receiving calls and texts from the dealership to come in for an appraisal. There were a few mishaps that had initially happened as I came in over the weekend when the regular managers were not in. I was called by the manager the following day to review what happened and he was quick to have me come back in so they could make it right, which they absolutely did. They kept their word and the original deal they offered me just out of good faith. Although we were initially upset with what had happened, the way they were quick to contact me to rectify the situation and hold their end of the deal, shows what kind of dealership they are and how they were willing to make things right. That to me, is more important than any initial mishap. Huge thank you to Dan, and Amir for their efforts and offering for me to come back in, I truly appreciate it and hold you both in high regards for how this was handled.

I purchased my first Ford. - MYDOGMAK

I purchased my first Ford. It is a very nice Ranger Raptor, however my experience with the dealership has been terrible. My new Raptor has a tear in the seat and paint chip on the door that i noticed on the showroom floor. The dealer said they would fix the issues, but are unwilling to allow my local dealership to deal with this. They expect for me to drive an hour each way 2 more times for the repairs. They do not care about the customers time or inconvenience. I had a Ford customer service rep on the line listening while the general sales manager Rodrigo was rude to me. He and told me to drive the new truck back to the dealership and they will break the contract and give me a check "since I dont like how the do things". This is my first and most likely last Ford vehicle purchase. The manager Rigo has still not sent payment for the seat repairs even after i took down a negative review that he asked me to take down. Horrible customer experience.

It's places like this that are why people HATE - brianccade

It's places like this that are why people HATE dealerships! I attempted to buy a used 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT (VIN ending 2119) from Star Ford Glendale at the $27,539 “Star Price” shown on their website. Since I’m ~400 miles away, I requested an out-the-door quote and to hold it with a deposit while I arranged a cashier’s check and travel. After some back-and-forth providing info, Jasmine texted me saying ”since we have your credit app/deposit we will hold the vehicle unless you would like to not proceed” Their first OTD quote included a $395 VIN etching add-on and was also $250 higher than the advertised website price (I provided a screenshot of). After I referenced SB478 banning required add-ons, they removed the etching but still kept pricing $250 above the website using the excuse that other people had expressed interest and it was a bug that was no longer live (I was able to get it to provide the same price again after they claimed this) After numerous texts/calls, I was told a manager approved honoring the website price and that a final revised OTD reflecting the advertised pricing would be sent. I was then resent the previous quote that was $250 high which I pointed out, and the response was “Wow you’re right let me get that fixed” While waiting, I emailed the deposit/CC information since we had verbally agreed on terms. After over an hour of waiting for the corrected OTD price sheet and contacting multiple employees, I received a call from Ryan. Despite no warning and it being less than three hours after being told the car was being held for me, Ryan said they were not holding it and were selling it to an in-person buyer that evening. I asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager was out and neither myself or Ryan could reach him. I was later informed Ryan is actually the owner of the dealership and that he was the one that made the decision to rescind the deal after personally approving it. It's absurd it took hours of back and forth between six phone calls and dozens of text messages just to get a dealer to sell a vehicle at their own asking price. Then after all that just decide to not honor the hold that was confirmed IN WRITING is something else.

Having sold cars for a short while in my working career,... - Bob Pierce

Having sold cars for a short while in my working career, I know how important the personal touch can be. Accompanied my Daughter to make her first almost new car purchase. Wondries Ford showed me that people do care, they listen, and do everything possible to meet you needs. Transparency was there at every turn of the purchase process, which provides that level of trust that we all seek in big ticket purchases. Thanks to Patrick and his entire staff at Wondries Ford in Alhambra CA!

I had a disappointing experience with this dealership\. - Jccjalonzo

I had a disappointing experience with this dealership\. After trading in my vehicle, they did not pay off my existing loan on time, which caused stress and required me to make an extra payment to protect my credit\. I spent weeks calling, emailing, and following up with management before the issue was finally resolved, including filing complaints to get action\. The loan was eventually paid off and I was reimbursed, but the process should have been handled promptly and professionally\. I hope they improve communication and follow\-through for future customers\.

I received excellent customer service from sales manager - Liliana

If you’re looking for a stress-free, genuinely positive - carlosvera133

If you’re looking for a stress-free, genuinely positive car-buying experience, Ford of Downtown LA is the place — and Josiah is the reason why. After a long and frustrating experience dealing with Toyota dealerships, this was a complete breath of fresh air. We came in looking for a Bronco, and we drove out in our Bronco the same day. From the moment we met Josiah, he was welcoming, friendly, and truly professional. We shared some of the issues we had experienced elsewhere, and instead of brushing them off, he listened, understood where we were coming from, and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. He was attentive without being pushy, transparent throughout, and easy to work with from start to finish. His manager was also great and worked with us to help make the deal happen, which really showed a strong team effort. No games, no pressure — just honest communication and great service. This was one of those rare experiences where you walk away thinking, “That’s how car buying should be.” Huge shoutout to Josiah for turning a stressful search into a genuinely positive experience. He absolutely earned our trust and our business. If you’re considering a Ford — ask for Josiah. You won’t regret it!

It was the best experience buying a car. It was quick... - junior

Our salesman told us we were getting a rebate and we did... - Docx3

Our salesman told us we were getting a rebate and we did not get a rebate. He overcharged us for financing. I asked him to call USAA for financing. He said he did and they were high. I called USAA, they also are my insurance company as well as my bank, to put insurance on the car and they offered me financing for lower than the dealer. They also offered me an extended warranty for less than half the price of the dealer. I tried for three days after the sale to talk to someone and no one returned my calls. Very dissatisfied. I would never reccomend this dealer for a purchase!
