The service department is terrible! DON'T GO THERE! It's the worst I've seen in my 63 years. Pay close attention to your car. Especially if you are a woman or a senior citizen. I went in on March 23, 2026 for service. All I wanted was a simple oil and filter change, and a tire rotation. The bad attitude and the unprofessional attitude of the person made me jump in my car and go to another dealership.

Good afternoon I would like to say that my initial experiences connected with the purchasing this vehicle was somewhat off-putting because of the way the process was handled. I was contacted by multiple people and sometimes these people were from different states, they all seem to be working for CarMax but they were calling me from different states; that was concerning initially didn't know if I was being had or not this was the part that was off putting for me. The fact that it would be like groundhog Day because that person will call me and the entire conversation would start over from scratch like hello thank you for contacting CarMax and this person had no history of the conversation I had with two or three other people, two or three days before I'd have to start all over all over from scratch and that was just off putting and alarming at the same time. once I got through that and I made it to the dealership in Kearny Mesa the confusion lifted and the process was very smooth although it was kind of long and drawn out because some processes about my military pay was confusing, I had to figure out my password I wasn't ready for that when I got there; but we had to do it and over the course of 2 to 3 hours we figured it out.

I arrived half an hour early for appointment. When my car was brought out after service, service rep did not come to advise. I was out and saw my car parked outside. He got my paper work and made wait another 30 minutes while serving other customers. I also saw him on his phone sending text messages while I waited. I felt disrespected. I have chosen to seek another dealership for service because of this experience. Thank you.

Agree the other reviews regarding the bait and switch "$3k inflated ticket price" when you first see the 'deal' breakdown "because of equipment they pre-install" that they claim they can't remove.

I came to this Indio dealership after a nightmare experience at a different dealer (Crystal Chrysler in Cathedral City), where my car sat for six days without a single thing being done to it. From my very first phone call to this Indio location, the difference was night and day. Mario was incredibly professional and efficient, getting me an appointment just two days later. Upon arrival, the entire team impressed me—from the receptionist who warmly greeted me to everyone else I encountered. Mario went above and beyond, ensuring a transmission specialist was on-site specifically for my car that day. He even gladly coordinated an Uber to get me to my rental car—a service the previous dealer flat-out refused to provide. What truly set this experience apart was the communication. Mario reached out at every single step, sending text updates so I knew exactly what was happening. He explained the diagnosis clearly, told me when the part was ordered, when it would arrive, and gave me an accurate completion date. The most interesting part? This dealership had my car for the exact same amount of time as the previous one (6 days). The difference is that this dealer actually repaired my car and communicated with me, while the other did absolutely neither. My car was ready exactly when promised, and Mario was just as courteous during pickup as he was on day one. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with this team. I highly encourage anyone who has had trouble with other dealers in the area to make the drive to Indio. It is well worth it to rest assured that both you and your car will be taken care of!

if you want a honda at this dealership and not pay a ' market adjustment' mark up $5000 for a civic..$10000 for a civic si..or a passport or a crv..or a prolouge.. just sit down.. show your costco card or you AAA card..and ask for the costco or AAA price..if they try to tell you about ; market value price i.e. mark up..getup and walk away.. there are many other honda dealerships that dont sell their car for' mark up ' market value' its just a scam

On the good side, the customer service name Antonio was good in communication but the technician/ mechanic was not trustworthy because he broke the hose of the engine and didn’t tell me when I pulled out my car since I cannot afford their estimated cost of repair for $7,561.78. They admitted their mistake, but when I returned my car to fix the broken hose, the customer service name Emilio declined my request of rental car , so I wasn’t able to go to work while waiting for the new hose for almost 3days. We bought the gasket cover and other parts to this dealership but unfortunately he gave us wrong parts so the problem of my car got worst. For the 3rd time we brought back the car to this dealership because of missing engine valve cover bolts when they fixed the hose but this time they denied it , so I had to pay another $584 for the bolts to other auto repair shop who fixed my car for less than $4k which is almost half price of the quote of this dealership. I will definitely not recommend this place to other people.

I visited the place yesterday. Despite having a VIP appointment, I did not get to meet the person I was supposed to see (Janeth Sanchez); instead, I was treated very poorly. They sent someone else to meet me and completely spoiled the experience. I left without my car. I felt they treated me in a terrible, shoddy manner—it seemed as though they had absolutely no interest in doing business with me.

Best BMW service advisor in LA! Caesar Pleitez at SM BMW is awesome. He really cares about you and your vehicle. This has not been my experience at two other dealers since I brought my X5 here from Cleveland in 2022. The service department at Classic BMW in Cleveland is excellent and aligns with the brand. I have used 2 other BMW dealers in LA and service was not close to Classic until I found Caesar. If you want a real service advisor who looks out for the customer try Santa Monica BMW and definitely ask for Caesar. Thanks for all the help Caesar really appreciate it!
