We were looking to replace our 2004 Ram pickup with something newer. After a bit of research we finally found the perfect truck at this dealer. I called and spoke with Tito on the phone about setting up an appointment same day; He was extremely accommodating and very pleasant to speak to. He didn't try to rush us into the dealership or try to pre-qualify in any way. Once we arrived the truck was front and center, perfectly clean for us to look at. I will be honest and say the negotiation process was much more mom&pop than the, now modern, approach to buying.. however, we came into it knowing what the new truck was worth, as well as our trade, and with that, Tito and the management staff were able to work with us to put together a deal.
Everything went very smoothly from beginning to end. In the finance office, the paperwork was very simple to work through, and the finance manager, Scott, was a pleasure to work with. He did not push any unnecessary add ons, or attempt to oversell anything.
Overall, I would certainly recommend Putnam Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and more so, Tito, if you are looking for a great sales experience. Thank you

At first I felt being 5-9 weighing 287 pounds I would not feel comfortable in a 2018 Kia Forte. After finally getting inside and driving the vehicle I started to enjoy it. John Coon the salesman had told me that I would and I did! When you have a salesman that treats you like family, that is when you start to have turst in him. This is my second vehicle purchase from him and so far with both purchases I am happy. Thank you Kia in Old Saybrook for what you do and for the AMAZING staff that you have at your dealership!

Right when my husband and I walked through the door Kristin was very friendly, I felt very comfortable, and at ease. I did not feel nervous or pressured at all. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Kristin was very eager to show us the model vehicle we were interested in as well as any others. She went out of her way to show us things about the vehicles she felt we would be pleased with. I noticed that she has great respect for her elders, as Kristin opened the doors for us as we entered and exited the building. I would recommend coming to Shakers Kia and sitting with the staff, they are knowledgeable and kind.

Three recall notices for wife's Optima......work was started on time....Kristin provided professional and attentive presence and concerns, work was explained ..........was surprised that the four hour duration was decreased to only two hours as the test for the third recall proved that there was no attention needed.........took oil change and tire rotation and I was on my way.........we have previously provided top ratings to the sales personnel.........Thanks for making this experience a pleasant one...........BZ

TYPE SHADY DEALERSHIP TACTICS! I inquired about a very clean 2013 Taurus SHO after months of searching. I live in Maine but was ready to make the 5 hour commute to Bristol, Connecticut with my wife and two kids. We planned on staying the night and commuting back the next day, even reserved a hotel room. I was approved through my bank USAA for financing, had a True Car Certificate, and was even going to give a deposit. I was even going to purchase the vehicle at full advertised price, minus $100 dollars from a True Car savings certificate. But of course, here come the shady dealership tactics. Robert Boyle explained that in order to complete this deal, I would have to go through Crowley for financing at a higher interest rate. I never even ran my credit through Crowley yet, but somehow they are dictating my interest rate? I did not even negotiate there sales price nor argue there $595 documentation fee. I was going to pay full asking price and there non advertised predatory "documentation fee." But of course it's not enough profit for this greedy dealership. I spoke to a manager who said who name was "Tommy" after I requested to speak to Mike Buccheri. "Tommy" also explained that he did not have to honor the True Savings Certificate and stated that True Car works for him, not the other way around. He refused to sell the car to me at the advertised price since I was using my own financing through USAA. Tommy was unable to provide any type of documentation that stated that internet sales prices are only applicable to in house financing. It' dealerships like this that make buyer's go to CarMax or a private sellers. Luckily I didn't make the mistake of dragging my family on a 5 hour + travel, plus hotel and travel costs. It's unfortunate that shady dealerships like Crowley still exist and are only out to make as much profit as possible from hard working customers. Read the other reviews about Crowleys' similar sketchy tactics. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!

I appreciate the personal touch your service employees have. When I come in, they know my name and why I am there. I get good advice on what is needed and during the wait time they let me know how things are going. I also appreciate the car wash and vacuum that is given for free.
