When I bought my Santa Fe Sport in 2017, I was told of - rallebes
When I bought my Santa Fe Sport in 2017, I was told of all kind of warranties I could buy extra, that I all declined then, and the end the sales man said, well you have anyway the 100,000 miles or 10 year Power Train warranty. I took it as one of those things you probably never will get if you need it.
Now 8 years and exactly 60,000 miles further, I got a serious problem with the engine and one of my mechanic friends told me that I probably would need a new engine. I went to the dealer Rick Case and was told to leave the car so they could check it out, in the afternoon I got a text from the service advisor Aaron Clark, confirming that indeed I needed a new engine, of course I was worried about the costs. After confirming that I was the original first owner he said that he would apply for the Power Train warranty. To make a long story short, I am driving my eight year old Santa Fe with a new engine, like new, drove a courtesy rental car during the time my car was in the workshop and was being held up to date by Aaron Clark during the time my car was in the work shop. Received my car all cleaned and shiny, excellent job Rick Case!
