I scheduled a service appointment with Gainesville Hyundai and when I got there, they told me the repair would take about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half. Well an hour and a half later, they called me up to the service desk and told me they didn’t have the part to do the recall work. I asked them why they didn’t have the part when they knew I was coming in over a week ahead of time and I took a day off work and they said that one of the other technicians had used the part on another car a couple days prior. They then said they would order the part and then call me and one to two days to schedule another appointment and I have never heard back from them

BUYER BEWARE! Shottenkirk Nissan/Riverside Nissan are a bunch of scam artists and dishonest! JT (think he’s gone), Tori the Finance Manager, and Sarah Kate are soulless snakes who will lie, cheat and steal from you! Sold me a 2024 Titan Platinum Reserve with 2,200 miles for $54,000. Was told it was Certified Preowned and a Nissan Fleet Vehicle. Complete lie! The truck had all the certified preowned stickers on the truck which Shottenkirk/Riverside, Shottenkirk Hyundai and Honda are still doing on NON-Certified vehicles! Got the truck home and found out it wasn’t certified and couldn’t get the hood to open! Called them to ask what to do, lots of xx and never got a call back. Truck sat in Nissan of Cumming for 10 days and was told it needed body work to align the hood. Estimates from collision shops for $2,000 to $10,000 to fix the front end. Had to get Nissan executives and USA all the way up to Japan to get involved and almost 2 months later the truck was replaced by Nissan. STAY AWAY!

A very bad experience at the Terry Reid Hyundai dealership in Cartersville. I had had an unfortunate situation where I had purchased a car from a private owner. I have a major back issue and am tall and unfortunately the car was just too small for me with my issues but in excellent condition. I went to trade it in and warned the dealership I had spent my budget on the car and needed to trade down. I had told them I had been lowballed at dealerships before and had to leave, and I was re-assured they were very aggressive on their pricing. It is a 2018 fully loaded Subaru. They lowballed me and offered $13,000 for my car (what in the world) and I was shown a car fax that it is worth $11K but had it marked in fair condition (the car is in excellent condition). They came up to $17,000 and I still said no as they wanted me to pay an additional $20,000 on top of that I had already spent on the trade in car. I can't afford that. Then, I was offered $22,000 trade in with a $5,000 out of pocket amount if I purchased today and signed. I could of course do that. I asked for a moment for my mom and I to discuss, and the manager came over and I thanked him as we thought he was the one that made this offer happen. He said wait, wait - that is not correct, and the over was revoked. They tried to say it was only something to get approved. If that were the case, then why did I not have to sign any other offers they presented me. This is deceptive and a flat out lying. Please be careful going to this dealership - especially if you are in a bad situation, financially conservative and need honestly and fairness. See revoked offer and text stating that they aggressively price. Very bad experience. That is not the way you build trust or do business.
