I purchased a truck from Rolling Hills Toyota with the process running from December 2025 to June 2026. While the vehicle was eventually delivered, the overall experience was highly frustrating and one of the worst transactions I’ve ever had.
Communication and transparency were consistently poor. Salesperson Bruce Murphy showed little urgency, required constant follow-ups, and failed to properly prepare the truck (it arrived with the same dirt spot noted during the video walkthrough plus additional interior stains). He also provided incorrect information on taxes and delivery requirements.
Finance manager Ian O’Connor was unprofessional, performed multiple unnecessary credit pulls without clear explanation, and mishandled the $1,600 tax overcharge refund (sending it to the bank instead of directly to me as discussed). Delivery updates were delayed and reactive.
On the positive side, sales manager Dennis Rainez was excellent—transparent, proactive, and responsive once he got involved. He provided regular shipment updates and offered compensation for the dirty interior and low fuel upon delivery.
Despite eventually receiving the refund (after refinancing), the repeated misinformation, poor follow-through, and subpar service from key staff made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Rolling Hills Toyota or buy from them again.
