I had another great experience with Merchants Service Center, this time dealing with Mike DiPetrillo. We had a front end issue with our Hyundai Santa Fe and brought it in for diagnostic. They were able to give me numerous discounts and complete the car the same day. I appreciate their craftsmanship and know that when they tell me certain work needs to be done, it really needs to be done. Aside from Merchants, I don't have a car service center that I can trust.

Late Sunday afternoon (July 26), I had my battery light come on just past the tolls in Southern Maine on Route 95 towing my camper with my 2010 Honda Pilot. Not a good time for a car to fail you. I arrived safely at the campground in Wells around 6pm and the car died. I knew nothing would be open so I deferred my repair plan to Monday Morning.
I called Dover Honda at 8am and spoke to Jeanine at the front desk who was very helpful. I explained what happened and asked if they could squeeze me in. She said yes and they could provide me a loaner if my car was not easily fixed. I had the vehicle towed in and arrived by 11:00am. Ken Crawford checked me in and said they would look at it as soon as possible. I was in the waiting room for about an hour. Jeanine came over and checked in with me to see how things were going. She offered to check on the status and gave me a high-level update. Ken gave me a full update shortly thereafter. Bad Alternator caused by an oil leak. He immediately got me a loaner and I was on the beach with my family by 1:30pm. As I was leaving the beach at 4:30pm, I got a call from Ken - The car was done! I picked it up later that night - Vacation Saved!
What was a very bad situation turned into a VERY positive experience thanks to the people at Dover Honda. I could not be more pleased in the way they responded to me and got the job done in a timely manner.

The repair techs explained the noise was because the brake pads and rotors had been replaced immediately before the sale and the noise was just normal break-in. They took the time to listen for the noise and to inspect all four brakes.

I cannot begin to express what a pleasant, hassle-free experience it has been to have my newly bought used vehicle serviced at Key Auto in Somersworth. I had concerns about noises, the quality of the ride, and tires. Brian Healey and David Snow patiently listened to all of my concerns and addressed everyone of them speedily, even doing the work right on the spot. They never made me feel as if I was crazy, hearing vehicle noises, etc., even if they could not identify what they were; instead,they just persevered searching for answers, until they corrected all they could to banish the problems. These service gentlemen have to be the most pleasant, friendly, helpful, attentive, follow-through people I have ever met in any service department. I guess I would only dont expect follow through with service. The only repair they did was a tire that kept losing air. And that repair was nothing to them. As far as that, I had to purchase another tire because the one they "repaired" needed to be repalced due to a small leak in that tire that whatever they did to repair was not able to hold air especially in the cold. That tire cost me over 130.00. I had a engine light come on shortly after purchase. The expected repair was over $300.00. I never would have expected that since the service dept knew of this light that they would charge me to repair it. It was shut off by a service tech but came on again and they insisted I had to pay for the repair of a car I had owned for a very short amount of time. I had to go through my family to find a mechanic who would repair it for much less. It was repaired for 149.00 instead of over $300.00 by this dealership. "As is" sales I do indeed understand, I sold cars for a living at one time, however, since your mechanic turned off the check engine light, stated it was a fuel imjector problem. I would expect more follow through on this. Dont turn off a light and let me drive my vehicle whe a problem still clearly exists. I spoke with the Service Dept., Management and it was very clear they had noo intention to repair it for less than the quote. I am a honorably discharged disabled veteran, money does not grow on trees for me. It was just too much. I depended on "Good Faith", At least that was the standard when I sold cars.

Bought 2019 Ford Edge for over 40,0000 it’s in need recall and problem need to be fixed. Made a appointment 1 1/2 week ago because of in need of a loaner car . Called the day before to drop off and was told no car available. Was told to call back that day and still no car don’t call this very good customer service. Had better service and work with you to solve problems at Nashua Ford ,made a big mistake buying a vehicle at Plymouth Ford! It’s a shame you try to stay local but you get treated terrible once they sell the vehicle you mean nothing to them .
