Best truck buying experience I EVER had! - chriskemp
I could not have been more pleased with Darren Dunn and LHM Chrysler Ram in Sandy. Darren was very knowledgeable about the Ram options and lineup and was very patient and helpful in finding me a great truck. He was very no pressure and down to earth and eager to please. I would recommend anyone looking for a new car or truck to talk to Darren first. Dustin in finance was great as well. The closing and paperwork went quickly and was very smooth with no surprises. Their prices are the best around and service is top notch. The selection of Ram trucks was the largest I have ever seen, including from surrounding states. Don't run all over the place looking for a great deal and service, just visit LHM in Sandy and I promise you will be happy. Chris K.

Service techs apparently don’t know their job. - Dave and Lis
I bought a car from them in July, in 3 weeks we had an issue with car. I took it to the Tremonton and Brigham dealerships. 5 trips total, with several of those days having them hold my car overnight so they could “figure it out”. Multiple time we took them for drives, they would hear and feel that something was wrong. Every time they would call us back and say we fixed it. They didn’t and No one could tell me what was wrong with a car I had just bought and is still under warranty. I took it to Layton hills dodge and they fix my car in 4 hours. Drives great with no problems now. The sales team is great they made buying a car easy and fair but not so sure about the techs.
Friendly, helpful and efficient - BM
I had a pleasant experience dealing with Brian. He was very helpful, well informed and efficient. The selected car had to be retrieved from Las Vegas, but it only added a couple of days to getting it all completed.
Amazingly customer respect and courtesy are missing - NoLongerACustomer
I have been to this dealer many times for service. I never had a reason to complain. Now, I will never return for neither service nor a purchase. First my daughter took her car in for “The Works” service. But instead of changing the oil, they added new oil, never draining the old. They didn’t top off the vehicle’s fluids. She ended up with several hundred dollars of repairs as a result. The customer “care” she got after being transferred from on “manager” to another was a free oil change offer. Obviously that was never used.
Then I had my son drop off my car for “The Works” with a coupon. When he came home and handed me the receipt, they not only didn’t honor the coupon, they also charged me for the individual services the were to be included in the “The Works.” I was treated like I was a liar, even after showing the receipt. Grudgingly, they gave me credit for my next service. Obviously, that credit remains unused.
The final straw that broke the camels back was taking a new to us car in for “The Works” again. This time all seemed well, until I was riding home with my son in the car. I asked him to turn the AC on to cool us down. “It already is on,” he told me. The next day we took it back in and asked about this. If I thought I was poorly treated for a simple overcharge, this took customer mistreatment to new levels. Finally, with no resolution or even an attempt to find an equitable solution, I left. Another mechanic found the problem, one of the AC hoses had been cut partway through in two places with a sharp instrument. No road hazard could make such clean cuts.
I will never use their shop again. I will never buy a vehicle from them. I will never recommend them again; in fact I will recommend against them when asked. I’m not sure what happened up there. I have been a long time customer, but unfortunately my last experiences with them indicates that they have lost their focus on the customer and are seeking some other goal.
Great car buying experience - Ulfr
We went down to check on a Jeep we had seen online. We meet with Greg Miller and he helped us out. This was one of the best car buying experience we have ever had. Greg helped us to get a great deal. We were very happy with the time we spent there!

Recall - Netpilot
I took my truck in to have recall work done twice. They got me in exactly when they said they would and finished before the estimated time. Very professional.
I didn’t buy my vehicle from them but I will next time.
Quick, efficient and got to the point - TannerH3ath
They were really quick and efficient at getting the job done and got to the point of the problem. Were then really great at letting me know what we’d need to do to solve it.
Shady Salesmen Shady Dealership - malderman
My husband and I originally intended on purchasing a Dodge Durango. They kept trying to get us to buy something that was out of our budget. As we were leaving we saw the "Manager's Special" Ram Promaster City. We looked at it and decided that would be a good service vehicle for his business. When it came time to talk financing the salesman kept trying to throw in extras that we did not want. One thing we specifically said we DID want was gap insurance. Neither my husband or I EVER buy vehicles without it. I remember saying several times that we needed to have that. Fast forward a week later we get called back to the dealership because our financing apparently wouldn't go through... this was after we were assured everything was good and my husband had already made the necessary modifications to the vehicle. We FINALLY got a deal worked out and all was well until my husband was in an accident and the vehicle was totalled. The insurance company paid their part but when I called the finance company to inquire about the gap insurance they told me it wasn't there. I called the dealership and somewhere in the many times we had to go in and sign new contracts they had removed the gap insurance and not once did they offer it again after the initial contract and they never mentioned removing it. Again, I NEVER purchase vehicles without gap insurance. This dealership dropped the ball. I will NEVER AGAIN do business with another Larry H. Miller dealership and will warn anyone and everyone I know away from them. I know I am just one person but the inconvenience I had dealing with these finance people and these sales people have soured me enough to tell everyone I know to stay far away.
New vehicle-spur of the moment - Steve
Stopped in mid afternoon to look at new vehicles. Alex was helpful and knowledgeable of the vehicles I was interested in. The dealership was upfront from the beginning on the best deals they could do on the vehicles. Great overall experience.
Truly a very good experience! - Lovemybrz
This dealership is one of a kind!Very friendly, genuine and fair. Bret made it easy to buy my new Wrangler Jeep on the phone. I was from out of state visiting my daughter. Thank you, Bret Simons for your kindness and, a very good experience!
Comfortably awesome! - SSander
Layton Hills Dodge was awesome to work with. They didn’t throw the hard pressure sale tactics at me. This was a great experience! Everyone that I dealt with were really helpful and nice!
Outstanding - Rich
I have purchased 3 trucks from Ken Garff - each time I have worked with David Tran. I will continue to come back - David is great.
Didn't even look at my vehicle! - RAM owner
Worst service department ever! Made an appointment with very clear expectations. Located in Morgan, but you have to go to Ogden for the rental! The Ogden dealer has rentals in Ogden. They don't tell you that until you are there. They didn't even move my truck into the building. It sat all day and nothing was done. They didn't bother to contact me and would not return my calls to find out what was going on. A Kia Soul was the replacement for a RAM 1 ton Mega cab !! Nothing but excuses and "we are sorry" . The General Manager was too busy to talk to me and never bothered to contact me for a solution. Brett had no solutions, just " I'm sorry". Now I am banned from the dealership for calling out the failure to communicate and exposing the poor customer service. Spencer Young should be ashamed to have his name on the dealership. Terrible dealership service department... OR" lack of service department"
Best dealership I’ve ever been to. - 727200
Outstanding dealership. Professional hard working staff all around. Gave me a great deal and went above and beyond to get me the exact vehicle I wanted. No pressure or games. Honest and straightforward. My primary salesman Mike Horrocks was very helpful and informative, as were his associates. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Love my brand new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk diesel.
This service dept. is disrespectful, slow, and overcharge! - Former Customer
A few weeks ago, I brought in my Jeep Wrangler JK, to the Stephen Wade service department, in St. George, Utah, for a red electrical symbol light that came on my dash. On the way there, both of my passenger side windows stopped working as well.
I was on my way to a funeral, in SLC, and planned on being there for several days, with a rental car. When I arrived at the service department, there were several employees talking to each other and it took about 5 minutes before somebody even asked me what I needed. They periodically looked at me, while they were talking and laughing, but just kept walking by me, without any type of customer service, or even a, "Somebody will be right with you."
When I finally got somebody to help me, I explained the problems I was having, with my Jeep, and the situation with the funeral, the rental car, and the time frame. I was assured they would get right on it and contact me ASAP.
After I didn't hear from them, two days later, I had to contact them to find out what was going on with my Jeep. I was told that the radiator thermostat was the culprit, for the electrical symbol, on my dash board. I was also told that my front and rear brake pads needed to be replaced, both of my window regulators, on the passenger side needed to be replaced, and my front driver's side door power lock needed to be replaced. This person also told me the small line from my transmission cooler was leaking. This was an upgrade I had installed a short time before, which included a small radiator for cooling the transmission.
It seemed odd that both of my window regulators, would fail at the same time (during a half hour drive from Mesquite, NV) and the person I talked to said the odds of that happening were about the same as winning the lottery. I had previously had problems with the window regulators and the auto door locks, on two or more of the doors, which were all replaced without fixing the problem. It turned out to be some type of computer controller issue, which also had to be replaced, before the problem was resolved. All of this work was done at the same service department, so I was a bit sceptical about this person's answer; I mentioned this to this person, but he didn't seem to care.
So, I asked how much it would be to fix all of these issues: one door power lock mechanism, two window regulators, one radiator thermostat, and replacement of one small line for the above mentioned small radiator that cools my transmission. He responded that it would be a total cost of $4,200.00!
I understand that dealership service departments are generally more expensive than other mechanic shops, but that price was unbelievable! You can purchase a rebuilt engine and have it installed for 4k-6k. I know this because I have been researching the costs of replacing the engine in my Jeep, since it has 90k miles on it and I've done so many upgrades to it.
So, I obviously told him that I could not afford his service department to do all of that work, for such an inflated price. Since, I'm sure I was already billed at least $100.00 or more, just to have them look at my Jeep, I asked how much it would be just to have the thermostat replaced. He responded that it would be $300.00! This is only a $20.00 part and is something that even I could have done; my wife was nervous about the light on the dash board, so I agreed to have this part, even with this ridiculous price, installed.
I reminded this person that we were returning from SLC, the following day, and had to turn in our rental car. He assured me the thermostat would be installed and the Jeep would be ready to be picked up.
So, the following day, I'm about half way back to St. George, Utah, from SLC and have not heard anything from the service department. It was about 2:30-3:00 PM, so there was a couple of hours before they were suppossed to close. However, we were a few hours out of St. George, Utah, still, so I wanted to make sure the job was done, pay the bill with a credit card, and have the keys waiting with somebody in the sales department, so I didn't have to pay for another day on my rental car and make the drive back to St. George, from Mesquite.
I called the Stephen Wade Service Department, at least 20 times! I got hung up on, before anybody even said hello, for about half of those calls, disconnected several other times, when they transferred me to speak with another person, but eventually got through to the same guy I had been speaking with throughout my adventure with Stephen Wade.
At first, this person assured me that it was done, but after putting me on hold and disconnecting me again, I had to call back once more. This time, this person told me he would have to check on the status of my Jeep and he would call me back. Fast forward about 1.5 hours; no call back from this person... I went through the phone game with them once more, calling at least another 7-8 times, before finally getting this person back on the line. This time he told me the thermostat had been installed, but they were not getting any readings on the temp. gauge, so it would have to be reinstalled. LIAR! In my opinion, it was never installed in the first place and he was just making up an excuse.
So, I had to rent my car for another day, drive home to Mesquite, and my wife had to drive the rental car back to Stephen Wade, in St. George, the following day. This was on a Saturday. When she arrived, they told her the Jeep was still not completed, because there were no technicians working on Saturday (even though their service department is supposedly open on Saturday)!
Luckily, my wife had brought my mother-in-law with her, to help get the rental car back and pick up the Jeep. So, she was able to drop off the rental car, so we didn't have to pay for 2 or more extra days.
Finally, the simple job of installing the radiator thermostat was completed on the following Monday. My bill was just short of $300.00. No apologies for the poor service, no explanations of why a thermostat installation took nearly 6 days, no discounts, nothing!
Just as a note, I ordered all of the before mentioned parts, that the service department employee had mentioned, other than the gold plated thermostat that they installed. All of these parts cost me less than $350.00, with free shipping. In fact, I was so pleased with the low cost of these items, I ordered a Rugged Ridge Fender Flare set as well!
I had a local mechanic, in Mesquite, complete all of this work, including the installation of the Rugged Ridge Fender Flare set, and he charged me less than $400. I've always been told, that generally your labor costs should be about the same or just a bit more than the parts' costs, so this was a great deal. The Rugged Ridge Fender Flare set cost me $399.00, the other parts cost me almost $350.00, and the labor, including the installation of the fender flare set, cost me $400. That comes to $1,150.00. Now, if I didn't buy the fender flare set, the total cost of parts and labor, in Mesquite, with a trustworthy mechanic, would have cost me about $600. Remember, the Stephen Wade Service Department wanted to charge me $4,200.00 (which didn't include the upgraded fender flare set). I'm sure that would have been another $2,000.00, or more, based off what they charge for the simple jobs.
I marked one star for my rating, for the Stephen Wade Service Department, but only because there was no skull with crossbones, or a negative star option! To sum up my experience with the Stephen Wade Service Department, in St. George, Utah, BEWARE! They have horrible customer service, or actually none at all, don't seem to care about their customers, do not complete even simple jobs in a timely manner, and must have some type of competition to see which service department employee can rip off a customer the most, with their outrageous parts/service prices!!!
Not only am I never going to use this service department again, I am going to tell everybody I possibly can, for the remainder of my entire life, what a rip-off the Stephen Wade Service Department is!
They fixed 1 thing and broke another & denied responsibility - R.K. Dissatisfied Customer
I took my Chrysler in for a tire sensor which was sent to another garage to be replaced- what? If I had known it needed to go somewhere else, I would have liked to have known, I could've gone there directly.. Then, I got my car back with a broken reverse camera. They said they didn't break it. Well maybe the other garage broke it! It was working perfectly when I dropped it off and spontaneously it just broke? They seemed unaffected and basically told me it was my problem and they could give me a quote for a replacement.
Not just NO WAY! but, h#=%* No!
pushy salesman - gottecat
