I began this saga looking for a truck on the internet. Found it at Perkins on Carguru which was a big help in its own right. Talked with Kat, Monica, and Bryon, who were all very polite, professional and understanding. I arrived at Perkins and was met by Ron. He immediately asked to help and the process began. He took me under his wing, it is a high stress activity to buy a vehicle. Ron was very friendly and relaxed. Highly knowledgeable of the vehicles involved. At no point did I feel that I was being misled. We agreed on a price for the new truck, a price for the trade-in. Worked with Randy in finance. He had all the paperwork ready and took the time to explain what was what. Great job. And was ready to leave in a fairly short time. They fueled the new truck and I was on my way. Great experience leasing our vehicle, as well as service appts. Had my truck in recently for damage and techs noted adjuster had incorrect parts or prices listed. Service manager Mike made sure all items were handled appropriately which was important to us as we were planning to purchase after the lease. At the same time Jillian called to start the process on the purchase. She had great follow up and a quick process and while it was a busy time, we are now past that sometimes dreaded process. I could have done this online or with the leasing co but it was nice to have face to face interaction for questions/options. Finance was smooth and high tech with everything on a thumb drive - no more papers to file at home! Many say you feel like family here and we sure do.

While traveling through Colorado in late August, pulling a 40 foot toy hauler, we had a problem with our transmission overheating in the truck. The professionals and Vista Dodge were able to get our truck ready for the road in one day. First let me say that I have never been treated better at a car dealership than I was at AutoNation Southwest. First the Sales Staff, Chris Revere and Riza Fadil, then by the sales manager Noah Montanye and then followed up by the Service Manager Steve Smith. I bought a used 2006 Dodge Charger at a reasonable price on a Wednesday, completed paper work on Thursday and the car was for all purposes then, mine. AutoNation offers a five day or 250 miles no questions asked money back return guarantee on their used cars. I took the car home and decided to get my own inspection of the car which turned up two problems with the car. I took it back on Friday and met with Chris and Noah to discuss my options. Turn the car back of have it repaired. It was my choice. I really liked the car and Noah asked me if the repairs were made would I keep the car and I said yes. Noah wrote out an IOU for the repairs and an extension on their return policy. I took the car in on Monday Morning and met with Steve over the repairs need. No where along the line was their any hesitation or disagreement on providing me the car I wanted and in a timely fashion. Can’t say enough about these guys and the policies at AutoNation Southwest. I think you will find the same in your car future. I want to point out that no one ask me to write a review and doing so was on my own accord.
Have had 2018 Durango for 2 weeks & major problems - pirate96
We bought a 2018 Dodge Durango R/T 2 weeks ago & already have had a major mechanical issue which caused me to almost have a major multi-car accident, sit stuck on the side of the highway waiting for a tow truck in a very dangerous position because the vehicle was not driveable. I had it towed to the dealership (the employees were very nice & wanted to help) where they said they spent “5 hours” looking at it, putting it on the computer & driving it without finding the cause of the problem. They could only release it back to me & let me drive it & “bring it back if it did it again”. I relayed how unsafe I felt & that me just driving it & risking the same thing happening again was not ok, since it almost caused an accident to begin with. I wanted them to look further since such a major incident (the vehicle would barely drive, as if it was in neutral on a major highway, there was no warning or check engine light) means SOMETHING is wrong. I felt like since the computer diagnostic didn’t show the problem that they don’t believe something was wrong? So now I have to go pick up my new $50,000 vehicle & always be afraid when I drive it. The only reason we bought this vehicle was so that I would be safe when driving it across the country alone to visit our grown children while my husband is out of the country for a year. Now I will have to worry about my safety just driving to the grocery store, let alone further. A dealership of this size should be willing to do more, at least spend more time checking the physical parts of the vehicle & not just relying on computer diagnostics, especially on a vehicle that is only 2 weeks old! I pray I expressed my fears of this happening again on the interstate or especially at night but they do not care. I will be documenting everything, including the tow-truck drivers observations. Buyer beware, don’t buy this vehicle, seems like it’s goibg to be the same old issues they had years ago & they won’t try to figure it out until someone dies or many major accidents happen. WILL NEVER BUY DODGE AGAIN due to the handling of this issue.

WORST VEHICLE BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!! Having dealt with numerous dealerships in my life, I must say this place is just awful! Condescending, insulting, deceitful and unprofessional. The 2008 Toyota I purchased from them is plagued with engine issues after putting less than 200 miles on it. I should have had an independent mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection because it would have revealed a failing engine. My vehicle quit running after 2 days, all plugs drown out from engine oil in the galleys, not good! Dirty engine oil and filter that was 2 quarts overfilled. What a mess! Sales Manager Matt Urland would not respond to my email and has the audacity to give me his office number of 000-000-0000 no less than 3 times in his correspondence. I do not need to be treated like that after giving you thousands of dollars of my hard earned money! Took 5 hours for the buying process and that was with no trade in or financing paperwork for them to navigate. As i am finally taking possession of my vehicle I get approached by a salesperson laughing "that i will be passing everything but the gas station in that thing" as he walked inside. After sale, the only interest they have in me is auto-generated emails trying to get me into their poorly rated service department to fix my lemon, no thanks! Skeevy, high-volume, corporate, get those cars out the door feel to this place for sure.

Begin here: 2 different vehicles two different times i have used the " body shop" both times they jad my vehicle 30 + days. Dave Purcell the body shop manager very vEry very RUDE failed to contact us at ANY POINT for updates on repair status. All we have gotten ls excuses and misguided its some ones elses fault i cant do my job.......had enough contacting the parent company as well as corporate.
