Great Buying Experience - John K
The team at Northwest Hills was a pleasure to deal with during the purchase of our new GMC Canyon. Vin was our sales consultant and helped us navigate the entire process. When we needed to get a minor issue resolved before we could take delivery of my truck, Vin was completely involved to ensure we were completely satisfied with how the process was handled. His focus on client satisfaction was excellent. We highly recommend Vin to anyone who plans to visit this dealership.
We also worked with Darren for all of the financing, warranty discussions and transferring the registration from our trade-in. He walked us through the process step-by-step and took the time to answer any questions we had. We truly appreciated his candid and honest approach.

Easy, straightforward experience. - JAMESGOLYMBIESKI
Went to Terryville Chevy as my first stop of the day going to check out a handful of used Wrangler’s. Never made it to the other 4. Franco, my salesmen, was very personable and exceptionally helpful and made me very comfortable about the sales process, I don’t generally trust salesman but he really answered all my questions and if he didn’t have the answer he got it. The truck was well priced and in very good shape for the year. If you know Wranglers they tend to be FAR overpriced for their condition, I felt I paid a reasonable price. They assisted me through the financing process and gave me several options to choose from. I initially wasn’t going to trade in my current truck but was going to sell it private party but they offered me a, what I felt anyway, a very fair price for it as well so I ended up going with the trade in. I would happily purchase another car from Terryville Chevy and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Great experience - Jay
Came in looking to trade in a lease, and lower our payment. We were presented with many options and staff went out of their way to get us a great deal. Phil and Doug were very helpful and great to work with.

Family Friendly - jayehurst
Bringing your children with you to get your car service is something most would dread. But the waiting area at Richard Chevrolet has plenty to keep the kids occupied. It’s clean and they provide food and beverages. Definitely a perk for any parent.
Great experience - Emcas15
Great experience from start to finish! The people were very friendly. They listened to what I wanted in a car and found the best option out there. Very responsive and helpful throughout the process.
best car buying experience i have ever had - Camaroz28
couldn't be more satisfied with the entire process. My salesman got me the best price (with deep discounts). Upon seeing my salesman (randy) he immediately told me about all the discounts they could offer, which is unheard of, rather than haggling over the msrp. The finance department got me the best loan with the lowest interest rate possible. But, I was most impressed by the service department. The service manager gave me a tour and introduced me to the mechanics. I had parts ordered ( truck side steps and tonneau cover) and he made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase, and that my parts were put on quickly. The staff at Valenti Chevrolet knows how to take care of their customers, which is why they get so much repeat business. This is the only dealership I will be doing business with in the future!!!
Easy repair work - Hey Torrence
I left my car with them thinking I needed a full 4 wheel replacement and alignment. Not only did they tell me I only needed my front 2 wheels replaced, saving me hundreds of dollars they easily could have just taken, they also did a full oil change! All of this and the price was well below all other places I shopped at. Pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of customer service. Will definitely be back!
Excellent - Keywestjoeg
Very interested in my needs and were willing to discuss options. Made a favorable deal in a short time for a fabulous truck. Maybe a little dramatic about "let me talk to my manager" but that's what it is about. Very happy with my decision to buy.
Makes car buying a pleasure - hisweetpotato
Buying a car is an important experience. It has to meet your needs. Second only to a home, it is the second biggest purchase you will probably make. and budget. The people at O'Neill's made this very easy and pleasant.
I started at their website to see what was available in my price range that fit my requirements., I called Charlie Melnick in sales and set up an appointment. Of the 2 cars I looked at, one clearly stood out and after test driving the car was sold.
I liked that there was "no game playing". Straightforward, honest man, that's Charlie Melnick.
When we picked up the car Lou, the finance man, went through all the finalized paperwork. No hidden ambiguous fees. He even had a wireless rearview camera installed at my husband's request.
Charlie put the plates on, and took time to go over all the operating features and set up the OnStar before we left the lot. Very happy experience.
Exceptional Customer Service - Sean F
We bought a car from this dealer couple of years ago and had some issues. They listened to our concerns and resolved the problem to our complete and total satisfaction. We will definitely be doing business with them in the future. Highly Recommend!
Another new Santa Fe - scottbowl
I bought a Santa Fe thirteen years ago from MJ. Went back and was unsure what to get this time, but went with the Santa Fe again. It took a few weeks for me to pull the trigger, but finally went with the Santa Fe.
Poor customer service - m4micah3
Their service dept picked up my Hummer with a forklift and damaged my vehicle. Who moves a customers vehicle with a forkift? When I pointed it out the guy in service first denied it and then said the dents won’t affect the operation if it. On Monday I was assured the parts were coning in next day air, here it is Friday and now they are telling me maybe Tuesday. No reply from Dave McDermott about this issue, no compensation for being out a vehicle all this time, and yet they still processed my over $5000 bill for the initial repair, that now I wonder if any of that was caused by the forklift
Horrible experience - Miles29
Worse dealership around. Sales is more shady than normal and service is absolutely terrible. Brought my truck there 7 times for a warranty issue and every time they tell me that it’s normal. They will find every excuse to not fix a warranty issue. If your spending your own money out of warranty, they will quickly find the issue. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
REVIEW OF SERVICE DEPT. - JVS

MY 2010 EQUINOX RUNS BETTER NOW THAT THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM WAS FLUSHED & CLEANED PLUS THE TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACED WITH NEW FLUID !!!
Excellent! - Maureen528
I came to dealership and checked out a bunch of Rogues. I really appreciated that no one came out and pressured me. I went inside and asked to take a test drive. Brian came to see me and got me set up for the test drive. He was very friendly and professional and there was no pressure. I got an excellent trade in for my car. It was a great experience.

Great service - Carol49
Great service with a smile With no appointment Ralph is the best service manager you could get please do not lose him Thank you so much keep up the good work.
A simpy horrid experience. - disgusted
The mechanic servicing my car was top notch. The service people exhibited poor memories, lack of follow-thru, questionable veracity, and generally were an impediment in cooridinating or getting information to and from the mechanic. The time to get an appointment was seven weeks!
Great Car Buying Experience at Devan - jdewitt444
I lease a Buick Enclave from Devan in Wilton, After visiting may other dealerships during my car search, Devan stands far above the rest. Searching for a car is time consuming, but Brian Johnson at Devan was honest and so helpful. Great sales team and very informative and helpful finance department. I have already recommended Devan of Wilton to friends and will continue to suggest others take a look when shopping for a new car.
Never even scheduled - ELROwner
Called on a Saturday to inquire about a flat tire fix, was told to bring it in and that it should be a quick fix since it was not on rim of tire. Drove 45 mins to bring my car, waited an hour, was told that while it was not on the rim it would still require a new tire. Fine. Was told they don't carry that tire and would call me on Monday when they should have it. I called them Wednesday for an update since I got no call and it appears it wasn't even ordered! They "reordered" it and told me they would call me tmrw. Got the call, tire is in, wanted to set up appt for Monday but I work so was asked to come in Saturday 12pm, sounds good. I get there Saturday 11:30, sir your not on my schedule today. COME ON GUYS. I explained that I was told to come in today at 12pm but was looked at like I was lying. Reluctantly he said he'll "see what he could do". Guy was rude, no sympathy to my situation. After an hour and 45 mins of waiting. "Car is all set, comes to 49.99 lady here will ring you up" Guy walks away, the lady says it's 79.99. Really guys.. you can do better. Awkward 15 sec silence when I told her the fella said 49.99. Great now I'm lying again huh. She changed it to the price but man, what a bad overall experience. I pray next visit is better. Stay away if you have other options...
Horrible Experience- Buyer BEWARE - jonponti
Horrible experience to say the least. Let’s start by calling on a car on the website we were told was there and later in the day were told it was being loaned to a client. Fast forward 3+ days later and the sales rep advised the client still had the vehicle, but wasn’t able to purchase it because they weren’t approved for a loan and couldn’t get a co-signer. Red flag as to why you are loaning a vehicle to someone who isn’t even approved for financing and somehow can’t get the car back? They didn’t even allow us to take the vehicle for a test drive without the sales man at first, but you’re loaning a vehicle to someone for several days that isn’t even approved for the vehicle? Call back and sales rep was out for the day, so manager answered. Very nice guy, told us the car was at Mazda getting a recall fixed. Fine, honesty for once. When the car came back we were called to come take a look and test drive the vehicle. We arrived later that evening and were greeted nicely, and everyone apologized for the inconvenience. Sales rep advised us car came back and had to go to their body shop because it came back with a scratch on the door. Another lie as the mirror was also busted, and the trim had a scratch on it. Clearly the previous owner hit something. Carfax was clean, and seemed to be minor, but enough damage to the mirror it had to be taped on with black tape, and the door fixed. I didn’t notice the mirror until the test drive, so asked them to fix it. Which they agreed upon. We did some paperwork that night to get things prepped, car was listed at one price, which we wrote the initial paperwork up on. They low balled us on the trade, average at auction was $900 more than what they offered. We agreed because it was the car my wife wanted, and she wanted to get rid of her current car. So we took a little loss, no big deal. Fast forward a day or two, no call on the mirror. I called, sales man said “I was just about to call you” mind you this was his response every time we called. Advised “they” had to go to Bridgeport to pick up the mirror and would be ready once painted and installed. Latest the following day. Next day, no call from sales rep, (Manager did leave a message that morning, but we didn’t get the message) so we arrived that morning to see what was going on. Saturday morning. Were advised they got the wrong mirror, and were waiting on the new mirror to come in. Were told it would be done Monday morning and they were nice enough to say they would deliver it. However we did not want to do the paperwork that day because the car wasn’t finished. We were promised car would be done Monday by 4:30, and finally it was. We arrived before 5pm and finalized the paperwork. Unfortunately we didn’t review the paperwork as good as we should have, but with a name like Harte I was under the impression they weren’t there to get one over on people. Initially looking at the paperwork the trade was some reason priced $1,500 over what we had discussed. Which was more than fair, so we were excited and happy. Thought they had adjusted it due to the mess of a process and all of the inconveniences there were. First page had trade info, so again, were excited, and didn’t ask why. Why would we? Finished the paperwork, and drove home. The interest rate was HORRIBLE for a 707 credit score, I mean HORRIBLE, but we had planned to refinance with our credit union. Didn’t initially go to the credit union because they were running a special for a refinance. However due to the horrible financing received we would’ve been better off going to our credit union to start. Would’ve been cheaper for sure, and less of a hassle. In addition Harte probably wouldn’t have been able to up the price of the car BY $1500 from what we originally discussed and signed for. So the increase in the trade simply increased the price of the car. Interesting, everything ended up being the same as we originally discussed, BUT WHY increase the trade? Why increase the car price? Makes no sense unless you are trying to make it seem like you are doing something for the clients? I don’t understand how a listed car price on your website could be increased prior to closing? Our fault for not looking at the exact price of the vehicle on the paperwork, but we had already done initial paperwork on the price of the car, and was listed for one price on the website. We ended up paying OVER NADA because of this adjustment. Screw me on the trade, I was aware of that, But don’t act like you’re doing us a favor on the trade, and at the same time increase the car price by nearly 9%! Car was already high priced, and didn’t argue it because my wife wanted the vehicle. But you are a shady dealership, and I would never recommend anyone to come to your dealership. I will never be back to any Harte dealership. Very shady and sketchy company. Horrible experience, no idea how the reviews online are even close to as good as they are after what we went through. Credit union laughed when they saw the interest rate they gave on a 707 credit score, and laughed at the price of the vehicle. Lucky enough they are a great credit union and got us out of the interest rate mess, but still changing the price of a vehicle to over NADA, and 9% more than what was listed on the website? That’s not shady then what is. Another FUNNY thing, sales rep said due to the inconvenience and not returning calls, or calling us, that he would throw in a year of free oil changes to make up for it. COME To find out, Hartes website provides a year of free oil changes FOR ANY USED Car they sell. Waste of my time, money and will never go back to Harte. Sales rep said they don’t work on commission, maybe they should, maybe they would care more about their clients then they do.
Bad Situation Getting Better - robert.m.hanson
I went to H&L Chevrolet in Darien. I needed an oil change and they had a great coupon. Well I was there they told me I needed my brakes changed and it will be $1,400. Keep in mind I only have 28,000 miles on my car. Rarely would you have to change your brakes that early. I asked the guy how many millimeters are on my break pads and he said 2 millimeters on the front brake pads and 3 on the back. If that was true I definitely needed to change my brakes. I politely denied the service and I went home to change my own brakes, just to find out that my front brake pads are actually 6 mm, well in good standing for a long time to come. $50 later and one hour of work on my own I was able to change my front brakes but there was absolutely no need. I can't believe they tried to charge me $1,400 today (front and back pads and all new rotors, which none were needed) and lied to me about the amount of pad that was left, 3 times the amount was left on the front pad.
I did Reach out to the manager at H&L and he was very receptive to looking into the situation and trying to make amends. They ended giving me 2 years of free oil changes to help build back the trust. My only advice is if they say something is bad, make them prove it to you by showing you the part.
purchased my first dream car - z06guy
I purchased a sight un seen Corvette from Ken. He told me it was spotless ,I told him I was very picky. Ken assured me when it arrived at my house( he had it flat bedded) that I wasn't obligated to purchase it. It was every thing he said it was. He is a no B.S. kinda of guy, I definitely would buy from him again.
