I purchased a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox LT FWD with 1. - RichBean

I purchased a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox LT FWD with 1.5 liter engine, lane keeping assistance, navigation, adaptive cruise control, front bucket seats, emergency/automatic braking, cross traffic alert, CVT & a lot of other modern features from Castriota Chevrolet of Hudson, FL. I have purchased over 15 new cars/trucks/SUVs in the last 60 years (yeah I’m old) and feel this experience was the best because of their friendly professional staff, huge selection, and competitive pricing. I began my search by looking for the model I wanted locally online and comparing pricing. After I visited a couple of dealerships I found two Equinoxes that I liked and I requested an out-the-door (OTD) quote from several of these dealers. I settled on Castriota Chevrolet based on their selection and pricing. They are a large volume family-owned dealership so they offer better pricing than their corporate competitors. From this and past experiences I find it’s better to shop at a family-owned dealership vs. the corporate ones that refuse to negotiate. My first interaction was with Kenny Enox, my salesman to request an OTD quote. His sales manager, Terry Bedard provided the OTD quote as requested within a couple hours. Since it was the best offer that I received, I decided to buy it from them. When I showed up I received the exact vehicle & exact price that I was quoted by Terry. No tricks. Also, they gave me the best price for my trade in. Kenny provided me with a test drive, helped with the initial paperwork, & provided a thorough introduction to my new Equinox with a lot of modern features. Kenny took about a two hours to introduce my wife & I to all the features, especially syncing the phone. Kenny walking us thru all the electronics. Joe from their business office prepared and finalized all the paperwork and discussed the additional extended warranties available. No high pressure, arm twisting like I’ve experienced at other dealers. Castriota Chevrolet of Hudson has been selling Chevrolets since 1979 and based on my current and past experiences with them I can see why they have an outstanding reputation of providing a friendly, honest sales buying experience. No pressure. No old school tricks. No gimmicks. No foolish “market” adjustments. This is probably the last vehicle that I will buy since I’m 87, but I will buy another vehicle from them again if I need to. Thank you Kenny, Terry, Joe & Alex Castriota for a great sales experience.

This was an excellent choice on getting the best sales - cf1487

This was an excellent choice on getting the best sales person. Danny went above and beyond to get us a truck that was what we wanted. He did not push us or try to get us into something we didn't want. Danny was laid back and listened more than he spoke. Danny deserves extra stars. Tom Gamewell in service recommended Danny. Great team.

Wayne Lemons made the entire buying experience at Ron - jtibbetts3

Wayne Lemons made the entire buying experience at Ron Anderson Chevrolet straightforward, professional, and refreshingly honest. When can you say that about buying a car? He communicated clearly, never wasted my time, and handled everything with a level of professionalism that really stood out. I also want to especially thank Douglas Watkins for working with me and putting together an excellent deal. I felt very good about both the vehicle pricing and the value they gave me on my trade-in. There was no foolishness, no endless back-and-forth, and no sense that anyone was trying to wear me down. I really appreciate people who respect your time and simply work toward a fair deal. Wayne is only 23, but he carries himself with the professionalism and judgment of someone with far more experience. He absolutely has management potential. As someone who works in customer service myself, I notice how people communicate, how they handle pressure, and whether they make the customer feel respected. Wayne did all of that extremely well. Very positive experience overall. I’d gladly recommend Ron Anderson Chevrolet, Wayne Lemons, and Douglas Watkins.

We have been doing to Mike Maroone for 4 years now to get - K_riceee

We have been doing to Mike Maroone for 4 years now to get our cars! They are always great with customer service, and their service department is amazing when it comes to solving a problem we have or just regular maintenance

This review is woefully late but wanted to praise the - mtpattersonuk78

This review is woefully late but wanted to praise the service department and, in particular, Matt Telesko, for their rescue and service to get me back on the road to home (Ohio) from a spring break trip to Seagrove Fl. I will be forever grateful for their empathy and priority along with the excellent service in our time of need. Although beyond my expertise, the issue seemed very complex and involved (and fortunately still within my warranty) and based upon performance of vehicle since the service was apparently perfect. As a GMC customer, if I was resident within Fla, Bill Cramer would my dealer for sales and service.

Great dealership to do business with! - ALEX@SMITHWELLINC.COM

Great dealership to do business with! I bought 3 trucks this past year over the phone. No surprises or hidden fees. When the trucks arrived I just drove to the dealership and picked them up. Couldn't ask for anything simpler!

The were very deligent and attentive to our needs. - Oralwilks

Our family has been working with Sunset for around 40 - Andrew

Our family has been working with Sunset for around 40 years. Over the past 10 years this dealership has gone completely backwards. I keep giving them chances because of the past relationships. But now the past means nothing. It is all about money, nothing to do with customer satisfaction. Apologies only go so far without action. Sales. Don’t start with how much can you afford, or let’s check on financing. Biggest turn off. Please learn from the veteran salesmen, that actually listened to your needs and concerns. Quit trying to push for things the customer does not want. Quit playing # games to try to sneak in an extra 1000$ on a sale. BE HONEST. I have given you every chance to make a deal on the last vehicle I bought. When I give you the exact # that you need to match from another dealer, it makes it pretty simple. You came back 6000$ higher. So I went to the dealer down the road. A week later your sales manager called offering to match the price. When I told him that I had already bought from the other dealer, he was offended that I didn’t give him a chance. Service Quit the bait and switch. When you tell someone their oil change is 95$, don’t write it up for 150$ Not once have you done this to me but, multiple times. Quit trying to upsell everything. At 65000 miles my vehicle does not need every fluid changed for 3000 plus dollers. Labeling them as “ critical items” when you know 100% it is not due or needed. Adding shop supplies to every service ticket. I watched one service adviser try to do it for warranty work. Mobil service +. You should call it no service +. You cancelled my wife’s appointment the morning of the service. She kindly rescheduled the following week. You did not cancel this time, you just did not show up. She then offered to bring it in if she could get a loaner car for the day, no loaner cars. Then you offered to pick it up while she was at work and have it back at 2:15. Well 4:00 no car! After multiple calls finally someone picked up the phone. You then stated that we didn’t pay the bill. Do you think you could have called and said it was ready and needed payment? Apparently we should have known that payment was required through a link that was sent to upsell services. You also claim that you have the biggest service fleet around, couldn’t you have just sent a different tech from your “fleet”? Sunset, The personal dealership that you were in the past is gone. In my opinion you have become a profit driven dealership, that uses questionable, misleading practices. The only reason I would consider going back to this dealership is because of Pat in service. He has consistently worked to keep the customers happy in a honest and respectful way. Unfortunately he can not save the sinking ship.

Not a pleasant experience Called the night before to ask - JeffM

Not a pleasant experience Called the night before to ask about 3 cars, was told all 3 were there. Drove over an hour next morning and they only had one When making the deal, the dealership stated a 4.5% rate, then switched it to 6.7% We made an agreement to purchase the truck in the morning and picked it up about 5 that evening. When we picked up our vehicle, it wasn’t cleaned. There were papers and a hair brush left inside from previous owners, windows were filthy. Truck bed wasn’t even cleaned or rinsed out. Salesperson didn’t even walk us out or offer to show us any of the features of our new car. Way home I tried to wash the windshield and a light went on stating washer fluid was low Sales person said the detail shop wasn’t available that day and we were lucky he tried to clean it.

Quick response to email inquiries; no pressure sales; - LimeGreenSaab04

I'm in Delray Beach FL, 3. - tennis LI

I'm in Delray Beach FL, 3.5 hours from Vann Gannaway. The local dealers that had or in transit the Trax were tacking on bogus fees of $2k-$3K over MRSP for dent protection, extra dealer fees, etc in addition to the standard prep fee of $1K. I refused to pay over MSRP. Someone on the Chevy trax forum recommended Vann Gannaway and many reviews mentioned Jayme as salesperson. I called him and I honestly didn't believe there were no additional fees and even the dealer's prep was only $484. He emailed me the info, had a yellow trax in stock, and within the week I wired the $, drove up 3.5 hrs and drove back with the yellow trax. Transaction was flawless. Too bad we don't live closer. I HIGHLY recomend this dealership !!!! And all the employees there were so friendly. I'm also from Long Island, NY and this was by far the best dealer experience ever.

Yessy has been so good and patient! - efrengonzalez0731

Bought my blazer here wasn’t the greatest price but I was - Thermostat recall

Bought my blazer here wasn’t the greatest price but I was in a rush during the worst car market, can’t blame them their my biggest issue is their service department, 3 times now I schedule a early appointment I'm there 10 mins early for paper work, and their is a line out the door… the service manger has to be more limited with their appointment availability I am not waiting a hour to just speak to a service writer to do a basic inspection and oil change that’s ridiculous, I switched my authorized gm service to victory lane due to this ongoing issue the service manger needs to get their stuff together.

I brought my vehicle in at about 1:40, my appointment was - dawnkane279

I brought my vehicle in at about 1:40, my appointment was at 2:00. It’s 3:20, guy came in after me in a red covert, he just left in his cool car! The kid that checked my car in had me stand there and wait, he was the only one in the area. Now there are 4 and they are just hanging out. I would not even give this dealership a 1 star. From now on I will go to the 15 minute places and take my chances. This place is a joke!

I bought a 1500 Chevy truck for our business and it - Golfcart1965

I bought a 1500 Chevy truck for our business and it lasted about one week it's been in there shop for going on 2 weeks now they gave me a rental car to drive which is useless to me I use my truck everyday for our business now I'm having to rent a truck which is costing me over 200 dollars a day I don't want that truck anymore they should step up to the plate and offer me another truck that has no problems I will be contacting my lawyer Monday to try to resolve this issue.

We went to Register Chevrolet on 2/9/26 to look at a 2026 - stephenstanforth

We went to Register Chevrolet on 2/9/26 to look at a 2026 Silverado. We met with a salesman named Nick, reviewed a truck we liked, and had both of our trade-ins evaluated. We were presented with a worksheet showing numbers that worked for us. Nick said the next step was completing a credit application. After our credit was run, Nick returned and said they had “made a mistake” on the worksheet and that one of our trades hadn’t been listed properly — meaning they could no longer honor the deal. No manager came out. No real explanation. No attempt to resolve it. Running a customer’s credit before verifying deal accuracy is unacceptable. Credit pulls affect your financial profile, and that should never happen unless the dealership is confident in the numbers they present. This felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. If there was an error, it should have been caught before pulling credit. Be cautious — this experience left us feeling like our credit was used as leverage after the fact. Not how business should be done.

After dealing with several other Chevy dealerships in - jakemartind41

After dealing with several other Chevy dealerships in Florida, this was a pleasant surprise. The team was very friendly, extremely capable, and had a no nonsense approach. They gave me a great price on a new truck, an excellent price on my trade-in, and work with financing just the way I wanted it. There were no hidden fees, I didn’t feel I was being taken advantage of, and we didn’t have to deal on price. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from these guys in the future.

Long story short I had 2 dealerships I was in deep - PackerBacker#13

Long story short I had 2 dealerships I was in deep negotiations with. And the following day dealer "A" had sold the truck. Enter Alan Jay of Wauchula. I had seen their truck initially but thought it was going to be out of my price range so I never reached out. Needing another offer to compete with dealer "B" I reached out to Alan Jay and no lie within 2 or 3 back and forth texts they were at the number I needed. And they offered a very fair amount for my trade. The icing was during financing my rate was actually lower than than initially quoted so my payment was even better! Amazing experience!
