Michael Nicolas came highly recommend when I was looking to trade in my Colorado. He answered my call on the first try and from there it was gravy. Searched another dealer and couldn't deal with the hassles and sales talk. After several phone conversations with Michael, I met up with him and immediately I knew this guy knew everything there was to know about Silverados and all it's bells and whistles. He's very knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. He went out of his way to make me and wife comfortable with the deal. The whole process from sales and purchase was within a short time, not like other dealers where it seems you'll spend your day there.

While in town on vacation, the engine light came on in my 2015 Suburban. I took the truck to Gilbert Chevrolet's service department early the next morning, hoping to just get some information on what was wrong, not expecting to be able to get the truck in that day. However, I needed to get to St Pete that night. I spoke with Kim Vinson, who sent me to Sheila Yates to see if we could find the part the correct part. However, we couldn't find it. She sent me to James Sarros. James was very accommodating and looked up the codes and determined what needed to be done. I explained that I needed to be in St Pete that evening, so he immediately got me in the schedule to complete the service. They also did an inspection and found a minor oil leak in the pan. James had indicated that it might take several hours to complete the work. I was happy that it was in the queue at all! He later came to find to tell me that they had a loaner car for me for free, if I wanted. Wow! I never expected that! Patty Watts was very helpful and took care of all the paperwork quickly. I got a call maybe an hour later that my truck was all fixed, including an oil change. The bill was considerably less that I expected. In summary, I want to thank the entire service staff at Gilbert for the exceptional service that I received, with special thanks to James, who went way above and beyond anything I have ever experienced at a dealership. I will STRONGLY recommend your dealership to anyone!

After going back and forth with pricing and such I was told by the manager (Kamar-sp?) we could “get to the price you’re looking for monthly” to sign and they would make it work. I had asked specifically to run everything through the credit Unions if running my credit (they initially said they do not work with my usual credit Union First Commerce). Not surprisingly my credit was run through GM financial INSTEAD after asking it not to be and of course brought back a higher percentage rate 7.85% (even with my good credit.) I questioned the manager why he did that and he explained he thought it would be the better option. Of course this made me frustrated and we left unhappy being told to call our credit union and try to work it out, basically do all the leg work that should’ve been done in the first place by your manager. Even still against my better judgement I tried to make the deal work and I called my credit union and got the numbers right with a much better percentage rate of 3.9% and term we could make work. I called back to explain all this to the manager and stated what price out the door would be needed. Basically got a call back that they couldn’t/wouldn’t do it. You lost a deal over $1500 bucks. I give you a one star rating for your managers actions, your inability to make it right after those actions and losing a sale over a slim margin. I will not recommend to anyone and I hope you stay honest and keep this review up in the interest of transparency to others so they know what they’re walking into. FYI this deal was for my fiancé, I also went to this dealership 2 years ago when I was looking for a new truck and was the SAME scenario. Ended up at a dealer in Tallahassee and was extremely satisfied then and will be the same outcome this time.

We stopped in to look at a used 2020 Cadillac XT6. We liked the vehicle, the salesman was polite, professional & knowledgeable, negotiated a price that we were ok with, so we made the deal on that Monday and told them we'd be back on Friday to pick up the car as we had to get money moved/covered. They told us to write a check and they would hold it until Friday, but we were free to take the car. Great, right? They cashed the check on Wednesday. We were overdrawn well into the 10s of thousands of dollars. When I reached out to the finance manager, Carl, he apologized and said it was an accident and that they would take care of any fees I incurred. How about the hit to my credit??? I had to spend the better part of the morning trying to cover this check and incurred fees associated with this. That was Jan. 13th, 2021. I let Carl know the amount to be reimbursed. I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. I reached out to Carl again Feb. 8th, 2021. He was going to get with the "office manager" and forward their response to me. Still waiting. I would think this would be a really easy thing to take care of , not to mention the right thing to do. This whole experience with the finance department has been a nightmare. As a business owner that purchases several vehicles every year I will never do business with this dealership, or any of it's sister stores again. I will also encourage my family and friends to never shop here.

I just went through the easiest car buying transaction ever! Joshua Longshore contacted me after I reached out to the dealership about a particular car (make, model, color, and options) they had on their lot. He just asked if he could get me any information, and to contact him when I was ready to look. I texted him a couple of days later to set up a time to meet. The dealership was 45 miles from our home, and I was afraid that they would think they had us when we got there. He had the car ready for us when we got there. We took it for a test drive, he got a quick appraisal on our trade-in, and within minutes, had a written deal. It was within $400 of our "wish for price." When we told him, he said let me see if we can find a way to make this work. The sales manager came in and wrote on the deal, Out the Door and then our price. When we went to pay, the finance person, told us about possible warranty options, which we declined. It was not followed by a sales pitch; he just went on to the next piece of paper to sign. Within ten minutes we were done with the license transferred and keys in hand. We got a great deal and had a pleasant experience. I don't know if the Covid-19 slow sales helped us get a good deal, but we never felt any pressure to buy. From the sales team to the finance team, everyone was awesome.

Based on a commercial on tv I decided to look at vehicles on the website. I didn’t get far in the app and decided to start again when I had time. I then received several texts that said my info looked good and when could I get there to test drive. I got to the dealership at 540 pm and was in my new car by 815 pm. Big thanks to Julian, Keith, Steve and I’m sorry it was late when I finally inked the final page so I can’t remember the finance managers name. I have purchased two vehicles from this company and have never had any issues with getting my car serviced. I recently purchased from a different Chevy dealer and the last 2 times trying to get it services on a Saturday (because I work all week) at Vann Gannaway it has been a serious issue. I even offered to drop my car off Friday at 4:30 pm (because I work) and pick it up before closing Saturday. I was told that there was no guarantee that it would be completed. Very disappointed and aggravated with the lady that I spoke to on the phone. I should not have to make an appointment to have my car serviced.

There is no way the sales people could not have known... Now he ha a 500.00 payment that he has no way to take care of...Harry was a 35 year employee of General Motors and has retired from there... It pisses me off that all the sales people wanted was a sale from an old man that isnt capable of making decisions.... I am his niece and have POA... I will be consulting a lawyer about this... This review is for finance department. We bought a 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX 4D LS in May 2019, and the car got totaled on Dec 31, 2020. We bought a gap insurance and extended warranty with for peace of mind in the event like this, but instead it had been a nightmare to deal with. The gap insurance keep telling us to call the finance department to cancel the warranty, but the finance department keep denying us. We file a complaint through their website, but no feedback from them. They seem to only response when you write a review, but won't try to help you. They were only helpful when they were trying to make you get the car, after that they are no help at all.

Sheila Lytle, Service Manager, answered. Very sharp and knowledgeable. She grasped immediately what was going on and booked an appointment for the next morning.
When I arrived Ethan Snader, Asst Mgr, took the car straight in and worked alongside Nick Bender, Corvette mechanic. Even called me twice with questions and updates. Nick diagnosed and fixed everything 100%.
Ethan returned the car to me about three hours later..

This is my second post so I’ll reiterate that I bought a new car from Chevy in 2018 and I sold it in December 2020. I’ve asked for months now for my unused gap insurance and dealt with several people they sent me the documentations that I had to sign and I did and still have not received my refund check. The funny thing is I also bought a brand new Chrysler Jeep on the Chrysler side the same month in 2018 which I also treated in in December 2020 and I received my check for my gap refund right away after about five weeks their customer service is great however Chevy it’s horrible they’re downright thieves so I’ve decided to take a different route I’ve been in contact with the Better Business Bureau which do you have to do in order to get off there but. This is also unfortunate because my son is also getting ready to buy two vehicles and he loves Chevy But he will not be buying them from Miami Lakes auto mall
