I had a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer that lasted me through high school, college drives back and forth from Tampa back to Fort Myers, and more college. Bring a 12 year old car, it was time to let it go for something else. I knew I wanted another Mitsubishi because my first one was so reliable in the many years I had it. Pedro was salesperson and was so kind and made the whole process hassle free. I didn’t feel pressured into buying and he got me exactly what I was looking for at a good price. One of the sales managers, Howie, even made it a point to come over and introduce himself even before he knew I was getting a new car. Everyone was so kind and I’m so happy with my new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, abd have already gotten so many compliments on it and I haven’t even had it a week now.

We were coming from other dealerships and arrived to Hyundai of Brandon 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. Salesman Afrim Celaj greet us and he was the plain reason we decided to close the deal, we experienced a lot of unprofessional salesmen in the previous dealers we visited, but Afrim was down to earth, straight to the point, no xxxxxxxx no gimmicks and a heck of a nice person. We are very satisfied with him, we agreed to close the next day and we did. Very happy with the process, also the finance guy Chris, is a very nice person.

They absolutely beat the competition by a huge amount. They gave me top dollar for my trade.
No funny business, the price they quoted me was the price I paid.
Rick, my sales person was very pleasant and accommodating.
When lead into the finance closers office, usually a high pressure salesman, absolutely no pressure to buy anything, just an honest description of what’s available.

Never like car shopping but Robert lopez & Scott Paynter made it an enjoyable day. Robert showed us what we wanted not what they may have wanted to sell. Scott took the time to explain the numbers to us until we clearly understood what for most buyers gets pretty foggy and complicated. Robert also helped us with connecting our phones etc. I had to go back the next day to get a second key made as it had gotten lost l guess. John Kidd took care of that very quickly even though they were quite busy. Thanks guys for a very low stress experience.

My husband and I visited this dealership on Monday morning, June 11. We were ready to buy a car as we had done our homework. The salesman said they did not have the car on premise (2018 MDX Advance) but could locate one at another dealership. We reached an agreement based upon them locating the vehicle. I was asked to make a $500 deposit which would be returned if they were not able to locate a vehicle. They had until the end of the day, Thursday June 14. They were to keep me informed throughout the process. I did not hear from them so on Tuesday evening I called. The salesman said they think they located one - I reiterated the deadline. I heard nothing except for a text to my husband asking if we would take a AWD instead of FWD. I was buying the car but he texted him. I said no. I heard nothing again so on Thursday I called. The salesman said they would not be able to locate the car. I asked when my deposit would be returned to me and he said by 5:00 pm and would email my receipt. I also said that we would buy a 2019 when they came in since it was obvious there were no 2018 and keep me posted. Nothing was done and I called the Sales Manager Friday afternoon. After explaining it all over again he said he would return the deposit and text me when completed. It is Saturday night and still no deposit returned. This is the worst service ever. Don’t trust your money with Fountain Acura in Orlando.

On August 8, 2018 I experienced the worst experience since I am buying cars for myself or my family in the last 18 years. After spending almost 4 hours watching the different models, doing the driving tests and negotiating the prices several people in this dealership disrespected us. The salesman who took care of us was very kind and professional at all times, everything changed when fighting to the last cent to get a good deal that benefits you and not them. The time came when after negotiating with the seller several times the different absurd prices that they bring you at first, we got close to the deal that we wanted to obtain, we were willing to move to a car that already had 4k miles to reach the final price. The sales manager came back and bring the absurd numbers, higher than we already squared with the vendor to make you see that he is helping you when the price goes down but you already had that price set with the vendor 1 hour ago. I show him that our credit is almost excellent over the 750+ and he insists on running the credit to see the final numbers. People everywhere I've bought a car and they know that the customer has a certain score, they know the type of loan that the banks are offering and their interests and they can bring you some numbers that you say, OK we're going to do the deal. The sales supervisor (Geoff "Tennessee"Johnson) keeps insisting on the altered numbers when we know that they still have room to play with their numbers, I say we are already tired of this, if you do not assure us that the payment of the car will be at $ 350.00 for 72 months including the GAP insurance and the cover of the tires and wheels we're leaving right now. He says give me 1 more minute to speak with the manager of the dealer and comes back and says I have to run the credit!!!! And I tell him that he will not run the credit until the final numbers are guaranteed.... and the sales supervisor (Geoff "Tennessee" Johnson) tells me " That price is guaranteed, I give you my word, count on that "and after everyone shaking hands, make the fake signatures that make you sign on the papers where you are fighting for the prices as if that had some value we proceeded to fill the request for credit to finish the process ... I hand him the paper and I tell him I do not want surprises with the numbers, I trust your word, he looks me in the eyes and he says "You have my word". Five minutes later after running the credit comes with the papers to our surprise the supervisor tells us this is our offer of a payment of $ 402 for 72 months or $ 368 for 84 months !!! I wanted to do a thousand things but we as customers have to show them, that they are not better than us, so I got up from the table and said goodbye to the vendor because he is not to blame. I ask for a card with the supervisor name and he tells me I have one in my office let me look for it. He goes to the office, he sees like he's making comments in the office about us and he comes to where we were, my wife asks for the card and he says "I thought I had but I dont have any more" my wife frustrated with the process says "You gave us your word, we trust you, they make us lose our offday for nothing and now you do not want to give us your card!!! Respectfully I ask the vendor to write on the back of his card the name of the supervisor and his position, the vendor start writing the info and the supervisor take from him and write his info (Geoff "Tennessee" Johnson) when he finish he throws it on the desk and says, "Incredible that they will not do the business for $ 18, with that $ 18 I'm going to eat a big steak tonight on your behalf! I kept my composure and leave quietly from that place .... Learn from my mistakes and never trust the sharks that work in these dealers, many times they force us to sign the deal that suits them and we as customers also have our budget and we have the right to get the best deal that suits us. From me and my family we are not going to sponsor the way that Jenkins Mitsubishi in Lakeland, FL does business, deceives their customers and treats their customers !!!

CROOKS OF THE YEAR A WARD WINNER" ran my sons credit 9 times in one day his score dropped from 720 to 620. I submitted a application to CarsDirect and received a call from Miami Mitsubishi " stating that I was approved for financing a Mr. Ignacio the Finance manager. I ask him if I was approved of did he need think I would be approved he said I was 100% approved. LIE
When we arrived Loius the other crook took our application and came back to me with a request of 5000 down, he stated that the only way I could be approved with out 5000 down is to get a cosigner if i could get my son to co sign we would be 100% approved with zero down LIE , after 5 hours and my son co sign I cannot be approved but my son could his score was 750 and no negative marks .
We dont know what they did but my son credit was ran for 9 inquires and his score dropped from 720 to now 620 100 points do not use this dealership they are crooks all of them that work there, including the staff the all were involved in hurting my sons credit instead please go another dealership.the should be BAND FROM SELLING CARS AND TOUCHING SOME ONES CREDIT . ...you would have thought I was an employee. I have so-so credit (unavoidable bankruptcy now discharged... ugg) and really needed someone to give me a break buying a car for my 16 year old daughter. I really didn't expect much because typically when they hear "bad credit" they won't give you the time of day. NOT SO at Coastal! #`1 great experience, my salesman, ROBERT, was more than eager to listen and found, with the help of the sales manager whose name escapes me, (sorry, even though you were awesome...) got me not only approved but, got me the car I wanted at the payment I need to have with the down payment I could comfotably put down. Easy Stuff no problems! #2 great experience, the finance manager BRAD. He had My back. Period. Came in the next day to finalize my down payment and he says "good news, I got you a lower % rate and your payment dropped by $25 a month". That's not good news, thats GREAT news! I have bought many cars prior to this (I'm 56 years old) from various dealerships and have NEVER found an overall buying experience to beat the one I had at COASTAL (even when I had great credit). I needed a break, I GOT ONE! I NEVER write in about stuff like this but I feel that strongly about how this went! This felt more like a family group than a factory assembly line dealership. Cheers to you guys and I would not for a second hesitate to recommend Coastal to anybody. I'll be a repeat customer when I can buy something new. Book it!
