While driving to the Phoenix area, our 2016 Sonata Limited had a warning light on regarding battery recharging. We were essentially between Oklahoma City and Amarillo. We chose to contact Amarillo Hyundai and spoke to Joe their service advisor. When we described the issue, he indicated it wasn't "break down on the road" serious, yet indicated we should have it looked at as soon as possible. He knew we were traveling so he indicated he would get our car looked at right away when we arrived. Joe greeted us promptly when we arrived and our car was being diagnosed within minutes of arrival. Joe & team got our vehicle repaired quickly and we appreciated the extra effort to get our repair completed right, allowing us to get back on our route quickly. Joe was knowledgeable, personable, and we felt like he wanted to get the specific issue taken care of and have us trust that we made the right choice going to Amarillo Hyundai, in the care of Joe!!

The service department was good. But I have a problem with the sales department. I wandered around in the show room looking at new cars for most of the two hours that I was there. No other customer was in the show room but me . There were plenty of sales people doing nothing but not one wanted to wait on me or even spoke to me. I was interested in a G90 but I suppose that this dealership does not want to sell cars. I bought the Hyundai I have there and paid cash as I will if I buy another but not from this dealership.

Even though I did not buy my Hyundai from South Point, I have to let you know that the Service and Parts departments have really impressed me. I had my used Accent less than a week and it came with only 1 key, so I went to order a couple of spares. On the way there, my tire light came on. Frank, in the parts department is AWESOME. He was so helpful with my key order (it was MUCH less than I expected) and he even helped me out with another problem (ask him about the crazy lady that tried to start her car with her husband's keys). There was an hour wait for service to check my tire, but they let me pull around and topped off my tires to see if that fixed the problem (it did). Everyone there went above and beyond for my minor little issues. I plan to go back when I need service in the future.

Alex Medina does it right. Initial process to get my Ford F150 repaired was smooth and Alex kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. He was professional, courteous, and he has the right demeanor for the job. After picking up my repaired truck I noticed a slight rattle noise whenever the door closed over the next several weeks. It wasn't until approximately 1.5 months later where I was able to give them a call to inquire about my options to have it looked into since it began after the door was replaced. I was told to swing on by whenever I had time so an estimator could take a look.
I showed up and Alex came out to meet me and I asked him to listen to my concerns. He did and 30 minutes later I was out of there with a fixed door. I was extremely pleased with what I initially thought might be a challenge after that much time had passed. It wasn't.
I'll save my opinion for the customer satisfaction 5 star approach and random survey for another day. Just wanted to share my experience with this dealership. Take care of this guy Lute Riley!
