Did 135,000 maintenance;l. My tires were rotated and aligned according to my invoice but the car vibrates weirdly ar Highway speed. I am bringing my car back in for tires and brakes and I hope they don’t F up the balance and alignment next week. Rating 2.

I’ve been with Bergstom for probably 40 years and satisfied until the lat couple of visits. The last before this visit was $209 for an oil change and to fix an electrical problem with my trailer plug that kept blowing fuses. I told them I had the extended warranty but they told me that info was upfront and they couldn’t check to see. Hence, $209 for my oil change and fuse replacement they couldn’t find the cause of. I took it to Westside tire and they fixed it in 15 minutes no charge. Now I took it to Bergstroms last week ( only because I had a Chevrolet/Onstar notice that I had an engine transmission. They told me it would be $149 just to read the code?????? It turns out that I had a faulty heat sensor for the transmission. Good news was no charge for reading the code because it was covered under the drive train warranty. Bad news is that I was there over 2 1/2 hours for the oil change, tire rotation, new wipers, and reading the code. The only reason I went to Bergstroms and not Westside was only because of the code. Otherwise, Westside CARES about their customers, tire rotation is free and I’m out of there in 30-45 minutes. I own a business and I can have my employees put all the nice, and fluff on a customer promise. But If I, my employees don’t deliver on their word, I’m out because someone down the street will deliver. As I have said, I have purchased a gazillion vehicles from Bergstroms. Always because of my comfort and satisfaction. But times change, customers don’t. Loyalty is earned not deserved. Up front pricing is a joke which can be seen by anyone with high school math. The original relationship between a repeated buyer and a salesman who was actually a sincere friend are gone. I was operations manager for UPS for 23 years and I knew the game but my genuine sincerity with my employees made me a superstar. No xxxxxxxx, no lying to anyone was my rule and my success. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to bad mouth anyone. You have fantastic employees, a vision, and the desire to be the best. But unfortunately not everyone has that desire or motivation to be the best! I spent just short of $ 4,000 on repairs on my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and before I picked it up I talked to the service manager Melanie and she said it runs and drives like it was new. I picked up and drove 30 miles and it still ran the same as it did when I brought in there with a misfire. I called back and talked again to the service manager and she said bring it back and they will have a vehicle for me to to drive home while they had back in for service. Well I drove back there 30 miles one way and she was not there and the service guy said they did not have a vehicle for me to drive. So I decided not do do business with Don Johnson Motors any long and traded in to Rochester Cadillac and I told them what was wrong with it when I traded it in and they gave me 4k less then market value do to the repairs needed and I agreed to that because time loss and a new truck was more important to me. Also Don Johnson is selling vehicles over MSRP, I wish them luck because people will remember that when vehicles are plenty full again. GM needs to find new ownership.

Purchased a used vehicle from Andrew Witte in May 2022 from out of state. Flew to Milwaukee to pick it up and was met by a representative at the airport and taken to the dealership, about 45 minutes away. As we pulled up, I saw the car front and center in the lot with a large sign in the windshield congratulating me. Made me feel very special.
Taking the car for a test drive revealed that the AC was inoperable. Andrew had the service department take a look while we filled out the paperwork, but they were not able to resolve it. He wrote a contract(?) saying that the dealership would pay for the repairs wherever I took the car to when I got back home. Andrew and the dealership followed through and I'm happy to say that I have AC now.
This was one of the best experiences I've had purchasing a car. Andrew made the process of buying out of state as easy as if I were living in town.

First the good part, the dealership wrote up a new finance deal at a lower rate. Now the bad part, the dealership sold me an extended warranty the service department would not acknowledge. I'm stuck with a service plan that I can not use. Fraudulent sale of a product the service department would not acknowledge. No apology. You will not like the end result. Good luck if you shop there. Buyer beware. I faxed a resolution and agreement which they also would not accept.

first off a vehicle that cost that much should not be having major issues with under 50k miles
second i took the vehicle in asking how much to repair 2 broken items which i showed the tech….they came back with we have to replace at over $1300
then gave me a bill of $160 for diagnosis…..but you didn’t diagnosis

To date West Side was my worst car buying experience. They tried to pull tricks and completely alter the deal that was already agreed upon, then when I wouldn’t agree said they were just going to put the truck back on the lot and sell it and wouldn’t hold it 1 day till Monday . Mind you the details of the deal were already agreed on prior to me driving an hour out there, I held up my end of the bargain they did not, even though I went over the details with the salesmen i was working with a half dozen times or more so there wouldn’t be any surprises that day. I will never go to West Side again nor recommend anyone I know go there. In the past year I bought a truck from them, as did a co-worker from the railroad I sent to them on recommendation. Now, I will do quit the opposite and go out of my way to let others know how bad they treat customers. People please just pay attention to how dealerships treat customers when the supply of vehicles is low, and remember that for when things get back to normal. West Side just lost a customer for life.
