On Sunday, I went to view a BMW there as I was looking to replace my Range Rover. They started out friendly until they found out I was from out of town. So they immediately told me they couldn't make a deal with me without knowing what I wanted to do and didn't show me the car as I have told multiple people online. Every dealership there accommodated me with no problem even if I wasn't purchasing that day. Even a different BMW dealership showed me their car cause I'm really interested in BMW. It could be borderline racism there as I am black. You can make the call on that one.

I visited the parts department and purchased a Valve Cover ($500) and I installed it (I am professional automotive technician with 10 years of experience) after a few miles of driving the vehicle starts smoking, I performed a visual inspection of the engine and found the valve cover leaking. Spoke to the parts manager and he said warranty protocol is to bring the vehicle in to the shop that way one the of BMW technicians could verify the warranty. Brought the vehicle in cause am 100% it BMW was going to grant my warranty. Nope, the technician said it was a pinch gasket. SMH. I didn’t want to argue and paid the diagnostic fee $240. I bought a new OEM gasket from the same Dealer, installed it and the Valve cover is leaking from the same spot as before. After $800 or so BMW has failed to warranty me a Valve cover that’s defective and lied that it was a pinch gasket. I’ll give them a 0.

I’m not someone who normally writes reviews, but my experience with BMW of Camarillo has left me no choice. I purchased a vehicle from them and had it transported to New York City. Throughout the sales process, I was repeatedly assured that the car had been thoroughly checked over and was in 100% amazing shape. It was also advertised as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle, only for me to be told at the last minute during financing that it wasn’t certified after all. The car was listed with 46,000 miles, but during paperwork, I discovered it had actually been driven an additional 5,000 miles as a demo vehicle by Sam, the General Sales Manager himself. None of this was disclosed upfront. When the vehicle arrived, it had a check engine light on, non-working ambient lighting, and squeaking brakes also the rotors were completely warped. Soon after, it was diagnosed with a major engine issue that rendered the car completely undrivable. I tried multiple times to come to a solution, reaching out directly to Sam, but he was absolutely no help. He took his hands off the situation entirely and told me to contact BMW Corporate for “after warranty assistance”, which he clearly knew wouldn’t lead anywhere. BMW Corporate then told me that only the dealership could authorize a goodwill repair, and BMW of Camarillo refused to help. I’ve now been left with a $70,000 vehicle that doesn’t operate, plus I’m being held responsible for storage and labor fees at the BMW dealership that is currently diagnosing the issue. All I want is to get my car working I’m not asking for anything more than what’s fair. If the car had truly been checked and in the condition they claimed, none of this would be happening. This entire experience has been a nightmare. Buyers beware especially if you’re purchasing from out of state. Get everything in writing, and have the vehicle independently inspected. BMW of Camarillo has shown zero accountability and no interest in helping resolve the problem they handed off to me.

Very bad services. I made appointment for my car services (changed brake fluid). It took a half day to complete the services. The services representative was not even available to work on my car. Another representative was assigned to work on my car and I kept waiting for a half-day. So very bad services.

This morning around 9:30 AM I called the service department and asked if they could fix the head light switch on my 2001 Z3 BMW that I purchased new from the dealership. After waiting on line for ~10 minutes, I elected to leave a message. It is now 1:21 PM. There has been no response yet.

And here I am back in 2024 as a repeat customer, and saying, once again, everything I said about Jon Shafer before. He stands with you throughout the sales process. He found me an X60 M60 allocation when there were hardly any available and gave me a good deal. This sale was complicated by me being in Florida and difficult Florida DMV processes and then Performance Center Delivery process being thwarted by Hurricane Helene and almost Hurricane Milton. Jon was there through all of it, along with finance manager Matt Correa. I am sure I was a pain in the butt, but they never let me feel that way, and yesterday I had a successful (and amazing) PCD delivery at Plant Spartanburg. If you live in Cali and you love BMW's, give Jon a shout.

Pajouh Automotive - formerly known as Courtesy Motors in Chico, CA - left my practically new car (7,500 miles) $100,000 BMW X5 M60i on their lot for an entire weekend with the driver window rolled down in the pouring rain. After a nearly 15 minute conversation with the owner, the operations manager and the service manager during which not one of them apologized, but instead insulted us by comparing 60+ hours of water intrusion to a “lifetime of getting in and out of the car with rain boots and an umbrella”, their solution was to dry the car with a heater and shop vac and return it to me. "These cars are made for this!" they said. Water intrusion damage can take months if not years to manifest and they know it. And yet just 4 days after the intrusion, the car reported an "urgent interior function" code - the driver restraint system was malfunctioning. We asked them to buy the car back. They said no. We asked for a replacement and the owner’s response was a snotty, “how do you know the replacement vehicle won’t have water damage?” My mission is to tell everyone, everywhere I can reach about their negligence and lack of accountability to take responsibility and do the right thing.

This dealership has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am an active duty service member and was on deployment a week from coming home, and was talking with the sales associate Matia who told me that there were no pending sales or offers on the BMW I wanted. So I told him I wanted to pay in cash via wire transfer that day and I would pick up the car the following saturday when I arrived back in the States. He said the only way they would hold the car is if I financed it through them so he would make a commission on the sale. even though I did not want to finance or run my credit because I offered to pay in full I had them finance the car just so they could hold it for a week while I was coming home from deployment. I received a message from Matia stating good news! you been approved and sent me the banking information to wire them the deposit for the car. Later that night he sent me a message saying do not wire the money yet, there is a deal pending and then they sold they car right from under me after forcing me to finance when I didnt want to and asked me to wire them a depoist. They are very untrustworthy and dont care about their customers or United States Servicemembers.

Dis-honest incompetent sales and service - Robert Salo

Bought $120,000 2019 M850i - multiple defects discovered on the drive home from the dealership. Car now is 1 week old - been at the dealership 4 times. Dealership totally unable to fix car - vehicle is unsafe to drive due to issues with steering , brakes and more. Contacted dealership owner. After listening to owners explanation went to BMW website only to find owner had lied about everything. And it just goes downhill from there. Dealership is forcing us to get legal representation -hows that for great service??.
