Joe took the time to walk me through the ZR2's specific trim details and answered every question honestly, which made a big difference after all the research I'd put in. The whole transaction was smooth, transparent, and free of the pressure tactics you sometimes run into at other dealerships. I’m glad I got a second opinion because Old Saybrook Nissan figured out that it was a wheel speed sensor losing signal and causing my car to go into limp mode. Okay so, Mr F. Krieger, that specific Part's Guy I was assigned to, wasn't thrilled with my choice of vehicle, the mere mention of which, 2026 Tahoe Z71 {options}, I knew was about to create both peril and questions for Mr Krieger and I. So far I can say Flawless performance by Frank, six (6) of seven (7) parts [arrived the next day with Mr. Krieger] are/were a one time purchase and quick install (by self), with that final part/set on back-order since 7/1/26 the confidence installed by his earlier performance induces nothing but affirmative hopes for my final "part". Then he went the extra mile and pointed me in a proper direction, all this as I'm in a local hotel, his nearest "competition" (literally) refused my Cash, sending me and my Tahoe (1,500 miles) Frank's direction unbeknownst to Einstein. Thanks Frank now let's get me those in-channel window deflectors.....

Leaving the dealership and driving the car home showed a significant improvement in the ride and handling of the vehicle compared to my previous visit about a couple of months ago. So I appreciate the attention to detail the mechanic whom worked on my car performed. Additionally the wiper issue was resolved to my satisfaction. However I was disappointed how long it took to resolve the issue with the new wipers that were replaced in Dec. 2025 and soon after you could hear a screeching sound loud enough to be very annoying. It took about 3 or so return visits to finally replace what was obviously a defective wiper. The brake job concerned me only because I was in two months prior to replace the rear brakes with no mention of any issues with the front brakes and as I drove only about 2,000 miles the brakes became progressively worse as reported in my service visit. I know things can wear on a car but it’s a very low mileage vehicle that is hardly driven and when it is I’m the responsible driver. Never hard on the car. I know how important the GM survey I’ll receive is to your business and I don’t want to hold individuals responsible when your dealership up to this point has been outstanding in all ways not just with service. I recently purchased a 2025 Tahoe Z71 from Cargill Chevrolet, and after dealing with several other dealerships, I can confidently say most dealers are still stuck playing games—Cargill isn’t - especially now that its under new management. I came into this process fully prepared: pre-approved financing, strong understanding of interest rates, and real trade-in offers for my 2021 Silverado 2500HD. I knew exactly what a fair deal looked like. Dealerships like Bolles Motors, Gengras Chevrolet, Papa's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich made the process unnecessarily painful. They dodged simple questions, refused to give out-the-door pricing unless you came in, pushed vague “dealer add-ons” they couldn’t explain, and tried to run the typical four-square nonsense to control the conversation. Some even insisted on taking copies of my license upfront—clearly more interested in working the deal behind the scenes than being transparent. Two of those experiences were flat-out unacceptable. One salesperson became disrespectful, and at another dealership I was essentially told to “get out” after pointing out a major issue—a large mouse nest in the engine bay—and trying to negotiate accordingly. That’s not how you treat a serious buyer, especially one who knows what they’re looking at. Then I called Cargill—and everything changed. Casey gave me real numbers over the phone right away. No runaround. I told them if they could match my trade, beat my interest rate, and meet my price, I’d drive 1.5 hours and buy that same day. They delivered—exactly. Working with Lance was the complete opposite of every other dealership. No pressure, no games, no wasted time. They matched my trade, beat my financing, and sold me the Tahoe under asking. We wrapped everything up in under 2.5 hours. On top of that, the vehicle was fully detailed, registered, and ready for pickup the next day—and they even included an extra factory key at no charge. That’s what a professional, transparent car buying experience looks like. If you enjoy wasting time and dealing with dealership tactics, go to the others. If you want a straight deal with honest people, go to Cargill and ask for Lance. 10/10.

So after numerous trips to the dealership for numerous codes on my 2023 Chevy Colorado any having my truck for a whole week. I get it back with the same problems and a charge and excuse that it was my aftermarket lights. After disconnecting my aftermarket lights still having the issue I returned the truck for another chance at fixing it. Once again having the truck for four days they said it checks out an no problems what so ever. Welp I had another check engine light and decided to check the codes at advance auto parts. Every code was a low voltage code. Four codes and they stated it was the battery not holding a charge. Replaced the battery and it has been 2 whole weeks and no check engine codes what so ever. So find a dealer that a service dept that cares and what's to find your problem. Many hours of my time and there time wasted and were unable to find the problem. Simple fix !

I left my car with them thinking I needed a full 4 wheel replacement and alignment. Not only did they tell me I only needed my front 2 wheels replaced, saving me hundreds of dollars they easily could have just taken, they also did a full oil change! All of this and the price was well below all other places I shopped at. Pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of customer service. Will definitely be back!
