Gordon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram went above and beyond in how they treated us. In all my years visiting dealerships, this one has left the most positive impression—especially during an extremely challenging situation.
My son and his friends were on their very first road trip, driving from Virginia Beach to Chicago. More than halfway there, his 2023 Jeep Compass started making a rattling noise. Concerned for their safety, they stopped in Washington Court House, Ohio—the closest city. It was very early morning, and most businesses were still closed. A local service station turned them away, saying they were too busy. Thankfully, they then found Gordon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The dealership wasn’t open yet, but they parked in the lot to wait. A gentleman arriving early for work noticed them, asked if they were okay, and kindly invited them inside to rest in the lounge until opening. By then, the boys had been on the road over nine hours and waiting five more—they were exhausted. That simple act of compassion meant so much.
When the service department opened, Mr. Bill immediately took the time to listen and understand their situation. He recognized the seriousness of the issue and quickly had the car diagnosed—something that is rare in most service departments without an appointment. His care and urgency revealed a dangerous problem that made it unsafe for them to continue driving. Mr. Bill clearly explained the issue and advised that the vehicle remain at the dealership. He even helped guide them through alternative ways of reaching Chicago safely.
As a mother, I am deeply grateful for the kindness, respect, and professionalism shown to four stranded young men from Virginia. Mr. Bill’s quick action may very well have prevented a serious accident. Over the past week, he has stayed in communication with my son and me, providing clear updates, explanations, and solutions. His responsiveness and dedication reflect someone who truly cares about his customers.
I also want to recognize Mr. Mark from the parts department, who was equally kind and helpful in suggesting the right tires for the car.
I cannot say enough about this dealership, its team, and the genuine care they showed during such a stressful time. You all truly live your values. Thank you, and may God bless your dealership and every person who works there.
