After researching online for the best dealership in California, I decided to make the trip, and I wasn't disappointed. The dealership offers excellent vehicle options and detailed information about each one. What really made the experience exceptional was the service provided by Mr. Marvin and AJ Sardar. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and never pushy - making the car-buying process surprisingly enjoyable. They provided various customization options and were transparent about pricing and features. Considerate and Courteous are the words that I would describe the team at Magnussen. The greatest thing about this dealership is that it is a "no-frills" type place of business aimed at providing great service to customers. I spent weeks scouring the internet to be able to test drive a Grand Highlander only to be told that I would need to get in a cue or require a deposit by other dealerships. I had visited 5 different dealerships over the holiday break and ran across a number of apathetic sales reps and even a downright sleazy one. I found out that Magnussen's was close to work and got in touch with Aidan who was helpful with keeping me up to speed on their inventory along with making it happen. I met Jacob a few days later and he was able to help me decide between the Sienna and Grand Highlander. Jacob also helped me lock down a trim and discussed all the features including subscription services. I was glad to have took the time to visit because there was no pushiness or rush to make a decision. When the opportunity arose, they were able to get the right car on the lot for me and Raj did his best to get me the car at a number that was amicable. Getting me to the point of purchase was a team effort and they work well together and for the customer. I hope to come back in the future.

I'm writing in praise of service writer, Neli. I called to schedule a warranty repair of my 2023 Blazer 3T. It has an oil leak. It just passed 14000 miles. The person booking the appointment was full of wrong information. I was told a shuttle was available at 7AM. I was told it would be a day appointment. Neli, had to set things straight. She heard my frustration. She deescalated the situation by finding the right solution. She'll call me once conditions are correct for me to bring the car back. I'm certain she'll follow through, too. Waited 11 months for my '23 Ford Maverick Hybrid. I have nothing but good things to say about Sunnyvale Ford. The main person I dealt with was Jim Popal the General Manger. Others in his team that helped me were Jack the salesman, Sagar the finance guy, and Sabin the Internet Sales Manager. The dealer experience was totally stress free. Not even a mention of nitrogen for tires, VIN etching, perma plate, gap insurance, market adjustment or other nonsense. I was offered an extended warranty but when I said I did not want one, there was no further mention of it. I said I was paying cash for it so there was no offer of any financing. I have read a lot of dealer horror stories online but Sunnyvale Ford has to be one of the best. My highest recommendation.

UPDATE: After writing my first review, I was promptly contacted by a member of the customer service team. They provided me with a name and number to discuss my experience with the salesman, Raj, and explore possible solutions. I was connected with Kao, the manager, who was incredibly understanding and helpful over the phone. He sincerely apologized for the situation, emphasized their commitment to excellent customer service, and assured me they would address the matter internally. True to his word, I noticed a positive change in Raj’s attitude when I returned to pick up the car. Kao then generously offered to renegotiate the deal for the car I was interested in, and he gave me a fantastic offer! The next day, I came in to complete the paperwork, where I had the pleasure of working with Haig. He is truly a role model for car salesmen—an engaging conversationalist and a genuine car enthusiast. We had a great time talking about cars and motorsports for an extra 45 minutes! After Haig assisted us, we finalized the deal with Kao, who, to my surprise, is also a motorsports fan. Overall, if it weren’t for Kao and Haig, I don’t think I would have returned to this dealership, but thanks to their outstanding service, they completely changed my experience for the better. Huge thanks to both of them for going above and beyond!

We were very fortunate to be referred to Jorge Ibarra-Bravo at Towne Ford, when we were initially planning our camper van build, by the project manager for the company who did the Quigley QLift suspension upgrade. Until recently I've always felt trepidation when buying a new vehicle. Since I was a child I've viewed car sales people with concern that they would try to push extra features and try to get more money out of me than I wanted to spend. Friends warned us how they had to pay several thousand dollars more for their Sprinter when it arrived than was in the original contract. Dealing with Jorge changed this perspective for me. Jorge was super helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the various options and packages for our Ford Transit custom order. We had done about a month of research and spoke with a fleet dealer in another state who had a number of vans on his lot ready for build outs. This person was always in a rush and didn't seem to have time for our questions. When we spoke with Jorge he had the opposite attitude.  He is calm, patient, always had time for our questions and found solutions as we corresponded with the outfitter who was going to do the camper build. We needed information about wiring harnesses and electrical connections to place the correct order and Jorge ensured we got what we needed. We had to wait 3 months for our order to be built by Ford. Jorge kept us informed when the van went into production.  When the van finally arrived we were surprised that the year end discount was even more than Jorge had told us we could expect.  By this point I had become convinced we could completely trust Jorge and he did not let us down. Jorge is a kind and sincere person with a lot of experience with Ford. I don't think one can find a better sales person and we highly recommend him if you are looking for a vehicle.
