Picked up my truck to bring it to another shop to be fixed today after this repair shop had it for 4 months. I dropped it off and spoke with two different guys there and told them that, when i put it in drive it goes into manual fourth. I called every week to ask about the progress and got the run around every time. after having it for 2 and a half month they called me and stated the truck needed a sensors and key fob, said ok. they said the work would cost 1600 dollars. After they changed them they called and said we have the truck starting are you bringing it into another shop, when we put it in drive it drops to fourth. Excuse me sir? that is why I brought it to you. So they charged me 1700 and fixed things that i didn't have problems with and had the truck for 4 months. when I called for the last time 3 days ago they basically told me my truck was on the back burner and they would get to it when they get to it. NEVER ever received a call from them until the last day it was there. I had to chase them around for answers. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I took my car in for body repairs, as was suggested by the Toyota dealership. The original estimate was for less than $5000. Then it went up to $14,000 and ended up to be almost $20,000. I hit a pole in a parking lot, never even broke the headlight and the air bags did not go off, I was going about 10 mph. They sent it to a different mechanic who removed the engine so Bay could “fix the frame” and then the mechanic couldn’t figure out how to correctly reinstall it back. It sat in the parking lot for 3 months with the hood off where more damage to the engine was done. Bay argued with the mechanic about who was going to fix what and who was going to pay, and no work was done for months while the car sat there. They continued to lie to me about what was happening as to the repairs every week I called. The car took 6 months for the repair that was originally estimated to take 14 days. My insurance company finally sent someone to the shop to find out what was going on and discovered what was happening. Bay then had to send the car to the Toyota dealership to have the eigine fixed from all the damage done. It cost an extra $5000 which they passed along to the insurance company. The insurance company (AIG) say they’ve never had this happen where a company doesn’t get pre approval and just sends a bill for $5000. Bay refused to release the car until the insurance company paid in full. It sat there for a week while they came to a conclusion. Then Bay Body decided to take the car for a test drive the day we were headed there to pick it up and they found another problem. Fortunately they got it fixed, after I threw a fit. 6 months and $20,000 later we got the car back. My insurance company say if they’d known the final cost they would have totaled the car. They were horrible, they lied every time we called and ripped us off for thousands of dollars. They contracted a terrible mechanic and then didn’t want to stand by their decision. I recommend you don’t take you car there for anything!

Left 4 hours later being told that they won't work on it till I wash the undercarriage and with a new crack in my windshield that ran about 75-80% of the height of my windshield. Service Director, David, let me know in no uncertain terms that it was my problem to deal with.

Really need to talk to the owner....very sleezy tactics....caught red handed...said part was in and I told them I didn't want to come in (to have my fuel filters replaced) unless the part (hubcap)...told me they had 2..so I made the appointment for 1:30.....arrived at 1...no cars in service area....after half hour my truck was still sitting there...another half hour....still there..each time I ask when they always said right now....another 20 minutes I asked again...oh right now they said....I saw them start it up so I went to wait....I walk outside and they had taken my truck and hid it so I would think they were working on it....I went and got the manager and showed him....I was pissed...(I told him that was a sleezy move)..he had them finally move my trunk in to work on it...I left around 4:30 almost 3 1/2 hours later...STILL without a hubcap...THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE.....during all the sleezy stuff they pulled I almost bought a jeep but have since decided to buy elsewhere.....would love for the owner to see this review

This dealerships service department is the best and I would tell anyone to come here. We broke down on our way to Florida at 4:30 on a Friday with no brakes. We made it to the dealership by god's luck as we were using the emergency brakes. The service manager was wonderful. He drove us to a hotel to spend the night and did an emergency fix on our brakes next day on a Saturday. They had to go pick up our parts due to we have a Nissan truck so they could do the work. We were back on the road after worrying our vacation was over. Coastal Jeep is wonderful. I would drive down the 5 hours to get a vehicle from them. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

I am sorry? I was speaking with one of my staff as I was writing my review and his name was Anthony. Eric is who I have dealt with and has treated me like a family member. I have at times wanted to get something done and he has told me that you don't need that, this is what you need and it's cheaper. I have asked about getting.my truck back to its fighting weight and he had a plan inside of fifteen minutes of what's first and how we could stretch it out over a couple of visits to make it easier on the wallet. We bought a 2024 Silverado 2500 crew cab LTZ 4WD from Sandy, and it was by far the BEST dealership we have ever encountered. From the initial meeting with Roger he makes you feel like family. Alan the manager on the floor was also amazing. What personalities the two have we laughed and swapped stories and laughed some more, it made what could have been a stressful transition so relaxed and smooth. Both were very honest and straightforward with us which is very unusual dealing with some dealerships. Than on to finance which is usually very drawn out, the gentleman (forgot his name) explained each warranty that is offered and did not pressure us to buy any; we signed and and off we went. It was the fastest finance transaction ever. He sent all documents to us via email and was amazing!!!! I would recommend ALL my family and friends to Sandy Sansing Chevrolet!!!
