I just got rid of 2018 Honda CR-V so I feel I can write this. I bought it at La Fontaine Honda. At approximately 8,000 miles I took it in for an oil change and because on a recent trip the alerts on the dash started coming on. I was told they were waiting for an update for the computer. I was also told I had a leak in a tire and because it was AWD I would need to replace all 4 tires. I told the repairman that was ok because I had a tire warranty…he responded that maybe they could fix it. Suddenly, it didn’t need the tires.
The next month the problems begin again. The dash display and the stereo began changing display and started beeping non-stop. I went back to La Fontaine and was told that I needed to record the problem OR they needed to see it. When it happened again, we recorded in on cell phone so we had the proof. When I took it in with the video, I was told that they actually had to see it. Also, they never wrote the problem down other than the first time so I couldn’t get the lemon law lawyer to do anything. They needed more in writing, which La Fontaine was careful not to give.
After the 16,000-mile oil change and air filter change I noticed that the cabin air filter was awfully black. A few weeks later I got a letter from Honda that there were problems with the engines burning oil and the heater not blowing heat on the floor. The heater not blowing on the floor was also a complaint of mine earlier and La Fontaine told me that it was normal.
Without a doubt, this was the worst automobile that I ever owned. La Fontaine was the worst at honoring the warranty. Honda ignored the problems even though she sent a letter to them. I personally will never own a Honda again. The company and the dealer should have the integrity to fix the car or replace the lemon that they sold me.
Also, the maintenance is more expensive with La Fontaine.
If there was a dealership that deserves to go out of business it is La Fontaine. I was so disappointed in my Honda that I will discourage everyone I know not to buy one.

This used to be a real good dealership but when it comes to service or trying to get your check from referring somebody it does not work out I referred someone back in June and still never received my referral bonus I took my car to get serviced and the service department told me they had to put it on the bill like I was getting charged because the mechanics do not like working on any vehicles that is under the car doc like the policy states I have the receipt to show everyone if they want to see it I will put a picture up eventually thank you

Just an awful customer service experience! 0 Stars! We recently had our Acura serviced and thought we had been overcharged based on quote (not estimate) received from the Service Manager. Sent an email to the service manager the day after picking up the car querying the charge as well as a follow up email 10 days later and received no explanation. Contacted customer service by email to try and get a response referencing the invoice number and attaching two emails sent to the service manager and received an email promising to call. Didn't receive a call and sent a reminder a week later and still no call or any follow up to the query. It has now been 6 weeks and no one has contacted us with an answer to our question on billing. The problem is not the potential billing error, which surely has an explanation. But the lack of courtesy in even bothering to respond to the customer's concern. Probably the worst customer experience we have had and very unprofessional. We will no longer service our car at Williams Honda and when we replace our current Honda in a couple of years, will certainly buy it someplace else.
Worthless Service Department - SamNichols13
Bought a 2017 Honda Civic Si in May 2019 at just under 30k miles.
By September 10th, 2019 My car was in service at Brighton Honda for warranty work due to what they diagnosed as a blown head gasket. Warranty covered the issue and I was on my way, or so I thought.
The car had similar symptoms immediately and went back into service on October 10th, 2019. Diagnosed as another blown head gasket and replaced another head gasket.
By November 7th 2019 the car was back in service for the SAME ISSUE. This time the entire short block assembly of the engine was replaced to try to solve the issue. Yet another Bandaid.
The car failed again with the same issue and by Febrauary 4th 2020 it was back in service once again. Another headgasket replacement followed by a spark plug change as I didnt make it down the road to leave without the issues reappearing. (I had to pay for the spark plugs as they are not a warranty item). Still no fix.
By this time I hired an attorney because there was obviously some negligence on the part of Brighton Honda. Honda USA brought in a field tech and on February 28th 2020 I was told that my repair would not be performed because I had removed the vehicles mufflers and installed software on the radio to give me the ability to gain more function over the radio. I understand that any manufacturer will void warranties for modification, but if a muffler removal is causing headgasket failure, there is another issue Honda is not mentioning.
Now with under 51 thousand miles, the car is practically a pile of scrap.
Moral of the story? If Brighton Honda had performed their jobs correctly from the beginning, they would have realized that the component causing my multiple failures was the head itself, which they claimed was in spec despite 4 head gaskets, and NEVER had machined. Honda USA spent a lot of money fixing the wrong things on this car due to the negligence of Brighton Honda's Technicians, and now I am suffering the consequences as well.
To top it all off, Management does everything in their power to avoid facing the issues at hand.
I have been in a Honda family my whole life. I have come to trust them for their reliability. This was so far off base from what I have come to know Honda for, that I will absolutely never be purchasing another Honda, and I will actively try to keep everyone as far away from this dealer as possible.
Stay away at all costs if you want your newer lower mileage Honda to run.
Avoid at all costs.

Unprofessional mechanics , heavy cost to fix the wrong parts; they said it was the struts , and inner tie rods needed to be replaced and after we replaced them nothing changed ! After all this have drained a lot of money to be charged on me for wrong fix then I took my vehicle away with the same problem I came with for the first time and figured out that was the lower control arm and then after I got to somebody to replace it the problem was gone .

This is an extension of the old car dealer stigma. I was lied to, had totally incompetent service. They could no alighn the rear wheels on my Pilot. I destroyed 2 sets of tires before they gave up and sent me to an independent who was astonished at the level of ineptitude. They are a GM dealer in Niles and have ectended that greasy haired white belt ethos. Avoid at all costs !
