Hands on the wheel - Buyer
Had another great experience at cawood auto in port huron, my family and I have bought and serviced there for years! Thanks to Kathy for helping out so much with our last purchase.
Excellent Service - Tim
Jon is only mechanic I'll let touch my car. Sure I pay more using a dealers service dept but the piece of mind is worth it. Jon has done the services on my last 3 Honda vehicles and the work has always been perfect. John at service desk is always friendly and helpful.
Awesome Dealership! - TSFeijoo
Eric Hay, Sales Manager, of Ferndale Honda is awesome! My husband and I bought a new Honda Pilot from Ferndale. The price Eric quoted us remained the same from the time of our initial visit with him until we picked up the vehicle about two months later. Eric and Ferndale Honda’s sales people are not high pressure sellers. When you go into the dealership, you’re not “pounced on” as soon as you open the door. You can browse and ask questions without any high-pressure sales tactics. I have and will continue to recommend Eric Hay and Ferndale Honda to my family and friends. If you want a no pressure enjoyable car buying experience, talk with Eric at Ferndale Honda. Five stars all the way!!!
Best Honda dealer in the area - Shannon
Dennis and Todd were wonderful! Great guys. Made the buying process so easy and enjoyable. I will always buy all my cars from Jim Rhiel!
Fantastic Experience - Great Price! - Pat Allen
Could not have been an easier and more flexible experience with Lafontaine Honda and Ha Parrinello. She did a fantastic job being flexible in having most of her discussions with me via text as I was too busy for multiple phone calls. She gave me a wonderful price and delivered the vehicle (from another dealership) on time and in pristine condition. Could have asked for a better experience!
Helpful and convenient! - Ed
Took care of all the details and easy to work with! Daughter left with a huge smile after the phone sync and instrument panel review to her new Civic - Happy 16th! :)
Unknown noise under the car - Joe and Celie
I arrived early and the associate attended me right away. By my description of the concern, he said it could be the brakes, but they would first inspect the under side of the vehicle to look for any obvious damage. He explained what the cost could be if it were the brakes. I waited at their very nice waiting room, had a coffee and a bagel and soon after I was informed all that was wrong was a loose splash guard. They fixed the problem and charged me NOTHING for it. As usual, they run my Fit through the car washer and I was out of there in less than 40 minutes after I arrived. Tamaroff Honda always treats me very well, and this is our second vehicle we got through them. Our next car will probably also from them. Kudos.
Excellent - HappyCustomer2018
Great service, timely, excellent pricing, discounts, very nice waiting area, explanation of costs, availability of parts, coupons, reward points: everything one can think of in a car facility is there.
Excellent care - Brookaloo
Evan was friendly, helpful, and honest. We never felt pressured to buy and he gave us excellent financing information. We were trying to decide new vs. used and went with new after hearing the incentives and an excellent interest rate. Loved our experience overall at Germain Honda.
Thanks! - Ashley Brandys
Travis was awesome to work with and had great communication. Josh made all the financing so easy! I love my CR-V - thank you, Zeigler!
Collision Repair - Honda Man

Alserra Honda : Wrong diagnosis. - Michigan
Unprofessional mechanics , heavy cost to fix the wrong parts; they said it was the struts , and inner tie rods needed to be replaced and after we replaced them nothing changed ! After all this have drained a lot of money to be charged on me for wrong fix then I took my vehicle away with the same problem I came with for the first time and figured out that was the lower control arm and then after I got to somebody to replace it the problem was gone .
Seevice - Bullseye2
Left multiple messages to service dept won’t return calls this has been an issue in the past. Excuse received from the operator was they had many calls and were too busy to call me back
Poor customer service - Jm
I remember why I have avoided action service for years. Tried today for a simple tail light issue. No one offered to log me in until I approached someone. Was told I could see if the basic part is in stock, and service would take 1 to 2 hours (to replace a socket). Went to parts, thinking I could get the part and go elsewhere. Parts said “be right with you”. I left after 15 minutes of waiting. Service at OK Tirr is much more reliable and personal.
I am done with buying cars from Crown.

Terrible .... - Razor
You have all heard the term "used car salesman". These are some of the shadyest I have ever encountered.... All they want is your money in their pocket. No customer satisfaction. They know you won't be back. Buyer be Very Wary.
James Fordham was wonderful to work with - AmyB81
I meant to write this review a few months ago, but better late than never right? I worked with James Fordham and he was just fantastic. I was searching for my next car, but I wasn't sure of what I wanted and was trying to test drive a few different cars to narrow it down. I worked with around 5 other dealerships in a two week timeframe, and James was by far the best salesperson. He was extremely personable, respectful of my time and great to work with. I hope that management recognizes his above and beyond.customer service and appreciates him for all of his hard work.
Service dept fraud - Caross513
I have leased and purchased vehicles at Fisher Honda for several years. I will never use this dealership again. Their service dept is terrible! I have taken my vehicle their for all my oil changes as required. They do this multi inspection each time. I was told they rotate my tires at every oil change.
My lease is for 36,000 miles, took delivery on 9/22/15. On 4/22/16 mileage was 7,460 and my tire tread was marked as:
Front left 8/32nd, Front right 8/32nd
Rear left 9/32nd, Rear right 9/32nd.
On 7/16/17 mileage was 22,398
Front left 8/32nd, Front right 8/32nd
Rear left 8/32nd, Front right 8/32nd
On 3/19/18 mileage was 29,090
Front left 9/32nd, Front right 9/32nd
Rear left 9/32nd, Rear right 9/32nd.
I had a vehicle appraisal done in March 2018 at a different Honda dealership (in Ann Arbor) and had to pay $52.00 for an oil change when they were suppose to be free, they said my front tires were bald and rear were close to being bald! I’d say there seem to be a big problem!
I contacted the tire company, Continental, and they told me that tire was NOT rated for any specific miles. I’ve never heard of a tire that didn’t last at least 30,000 miles. Why would Honda put such poor tires on a 36,000 mile lease! After several calls to Continental and Honda I was told “Oh yeah we did have a batch of bad tires put on the CRV’s”
My safety was in jeopardy so I was forced to purchase 4 new tires.which cost me $315.85.
I no longer have any faith in Honda’s quality so I will NOT lease another Honda. Because of that you are now trying to make me pay for a 30,000 maintanance at nearly $300.00 AND a $350.00 turn in fee! So you lease a sub standard vehicle and you want ME to put on new tires and do an expensive maintance so you have a used car on the lot that you can sell for more money! Doesn’t seem ethical to me.
Never again - Irons,bs52
Got a stone in windshield with less then 3000 miles on my Honda CR-V. Did not buy my car at Williams, but is the closest dealer to me. I wanted a Honda windshield, not after market. Called talked to Josh. He had me call parts to order, then parts transferred me to service. Josh told me he would call when the windshield came in to schedule a time to have it installed. A week later I called, and the windshield was there the day after I ordered it. I was told Josh would call to schedule. He didn’t. So I called Cherryland Auto Glass and scheduled it myself, and they called Williams. Appointment at 1:00, did not get out of there until 5:00. I would go look to see if it was done, no car. At 3:30 the auto glass guy came to tell me there was a problem, and he had just got done, I should be able to leave in another thirty minutes. He needed to open the hood and it wouldn’t open. They had to take it in the garage and work on it. So in turn he was there 2 1/2 hr. At no time did a Williams employee come and tell me what was going on. Not once, the glass guy did. Never again will I return for service there. Oh I should add Josh came in at 5:00 and said, “ its done “.

extortion, lies, run round, and likely other illegal activit - PisssedLady
Betten Baker Honda is giving used car dealers a bad name. For details of the extortion, lies, run round, and likely other illegal activities see below.
We bought our 2016 CRV 10 weeks ago with just 12K miles on it. Last week I get a call from Tom Schwab, the salesman, telling me that I owe another $190 because they had to renew my registration (it was still good for 2.5 months when I signed and from what another salesman there tells me they only have to renew if it's within 30 days of expiring.) He tells me he has the registration and tags and he won't give them to me until I come give him a check for another $190.
I email him a couple of hours after the call that my receipt shows I paid $210 for fees, including the registration, and I'm not paying any more. If a mistake was made it was on their end and at their cost.
No reply for several days.
I call today at 1100 and ask If Tom got my email. He did and he starts telling me I still owe $190 beyond what the receipt shows I paid for registration. When I reiterate my stance Tom tells me Adam is supposed to call me about this issue. I tell Tom no, he called me and he asked me for the money and told me he has my registration so II expect him to resolve this problem, I don't want to wait any longer, my tags expire after tomorrow and I need to be able to use this car. I ask for his manager and he says "I have a manager but he's not in today." He tells me Adam is walking in from the parking lot now and he'll have him call me right away.
An hour later I try to call an Tom doesn't pick up, I call the main office and ask to speak with Adam. I'm put through to voicemail. I call the main office again and no one answers, I call every 5 minutes for several attempts with no answer. When I borrow Tony's phone, I get an answer on the 1st ring. Ask to speak to the manager, Adam, or Tom. No one is available but this new salesman will make sure someone gets back to me right away.
An hour later I get online and find the manager, Justin Giauque's phone number. I give him a call and he answers. THE MANAGER IS IN AND TOM LIED! He tells me he has no idea what's going on since this is the first he's heard about this issue. I say I'm shocked since it's an ongoing problem and I asked to speak with Tom's manager earlier today but Tom told me he wasn't in. As evidence that he was unaware of the problem THE MANAGER SAYS HE WOULDN'T HAVE ANSWERED THE PHONE IF HE'D KNOWN WHO I WAS! He tells me he would have screened my call like everyone else was probably doing.
He called the "Girls upstairs" to find out exactly what was going on and came back to tell me that through no fault of my own they had needed to renew the registration and that he would mail me the registration and tags at no charge. I asked him not to since I need them tomorrow and I drove the 2 hours to pick them up.
My last thought? How do you renew another person's vehicle registration without their consent, let alone signature? I feel like that's probably not legal.
Always feel like you're being taken advantage of - goneagain7
Multiple experiences with this group. From trying to buy new and trying to get repairs on a used car, I always walk away feeling that they haven't been honest with me. After numerous exchanges, I have decided to take all my honda automotive business elsewhere. I will sleep much better at night knowing that they aren't working on my car anymore.
UNDERHANDED - StoleMyTahoe
Working on meeting their conditions for financing that they told be at the close of business only to have them sell the car out from under me the following morning...Shady, greedy, and crooked dealings with the used car staff AT BEST! Will never recommend or visit there again....EVEN IF THE CAR WERE FREE!!
Great Dealer with no sales - CRV 2018
With the response from the Internet/voice sales team walked to the dealer, was there for about 2 hours and hardly seen any other customer on a Friday evening, the sales person was good but when it came to the number for CRV, they jacked it up and tricks follows, All of sudden everyone is busy with nothing and when I was ready to purchase the car, the number were abnormal and they change the statement in fraction of seconds and start telling you lies about the numbers and creeped us out with the new numbers, They try to lurk you into signing the documents which I had refused to do so, so they retracted and started saying that the deal willnot work if you don't sign on the new numbers. So I had walked out of this business quietly and they started bullying us while we were walking out, such cheap fellows. I have reported the same to BBB, AG of Michigan and FTC for their unruly behavior.
Waste of money - Mama1
Looking to waste your time and money? You’ve come to the right place. The service department will convince you that you need a $115 diagnostic test to find out your gas cap isn’t on tight enough (spoiler alert- the service team already knew this was the issue). My money and I were thoroughly disrespected. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Service dept is totally incompetent - Snog
This is an extension of the old car dealer stigma. I was lied to, had totally incompetent service. They could no alighn the rear wheels on my Pilot. I destroyed 2 sets of tires before they gave up and sent me to an independent who was astonished at the level of ineptitude. They are a GM dealer in Niles and have ectended that greasy haired white belt ethos. Avoid at all costs !
