They always get me in in a timely fashion even if they are swamped with work. I needed a new battery. I had to call my insurance company for a tow truck to come and give me a jump two times, one to get me home from Walmart, then again the next day to get me to the dealership for a battery. Another dealership couldn’t get me in for a whole week, but Jared Curry at Southwest Hyundai got me in that day! And they always keep me updated on what services may be needed on my vehicle. It’s paid off, and I want it to go another 100,000 so maintenance is important!!

Not only did I get a great car for the price, raul went above and beyond to make sure I received a great buying experience and was happy with my choice. He even took time and helped me get a lower interest rate! Who does that!?! Cant say enough about the integrity and straight forward approach. Not only did he review the car fax with me and the inspection report. All of my questions and concerns were answered. I was interested in a Smart Fortwo and contacted this dealership and was told it had a pending sale. I was told I would be contacted if it fell through. After 10 days, I still saw it was available so I contacted them to find out that it was again for sale but they just failed to contact me. Anyway, I dealt with a salesman, Jude (who was actually kind of nice) and the sales manager, Harlan, who is nothing short of rude and insulting. My review is to warn potential customers that:
1. They have a $349 dealership fee that is not listed in ads or anywhere on their website. Harlan feels that they do not need to list this fee anywhere and it is up to the customer to find it on the buyer’s order; and
2. They failed to tell me (before running my credit) that if I were to put a deposit down on this car, it is non-refundable. Harlan told me he didn’t feel he needed to “state the obvious.”
I have purchased many, many cars in my lifetime and I have never dealt with a dealership that does not give back a deposit or a sales manager who acted like this.
The owners of the dealership, Lydia and Michael, got involved in trying to rectify the situation. Long story short, they reduced the car by $330 after learning about the above. They were very nice and apologetic which I appreciated. I asked for detailed photos before moving ahead with the purchase (as I am out-of-state) and they did in fact send detailed photos. When I initially inquired about this car, the sales manager and salesman told me the car was in “like-new” condition. The car had no less than 15 or so paint chips and scratches. It was also missing the tow hook cover and they told me to buy it myself as it was only $12. The headlight was all foggy. A replacement headlight is over $250. The driver’s door looked like someone repeatedly bashed it against things. They tried to tell me damage in the car was consistent with the age of the vehicle. I wholeheartedly disagree. I have a 2013 Mini Cooper JCW with two very small rock chips, but then again, I take care of my vehicles. So after seeing these photos I asked if they would reduce the car further to allow for repair. They refused.

First, nobody responded to me for about 24 hours. I sent another message and the salesman answered finally telling me he'd been busy. He did answer my questions and said the truck was priced to sell, and so the price was not negotiable. The price was 'good' according to comparison slightly above average asking price by a few hundred dollars. I asked why there were no photographs of the inside and he said it probably hadn't been cleaned yet, but they never posted any interior photo's. I live about 160 miles from Albuquerque, so I wasn't going to just pop over and look at the truck. It appears they sold the truck. Customer service is lacking for internet sales, but I can't say much else about the dealership really.
The Worst - Taos
I recently purchased a truck from this place. I live in another town, so they delivered the truck. The air conditioner went out the next day. They said they wouldn't pay to have it repaired, but they would send me the replacement parts and $80 for labor, which they never did. The Diesel Particulate Filter was FULL and I still haven't resolved that problem. I said I would bring the truck back and they said all sales are final in New Mexico, even though the contract gave me two weeks or 500 miles. This is a horrible business. Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere.

Friday noon Im at Dealership checking it in and Im told sorry but we can not look at it today, Its likely going to be held over till we can look at it, maybe Monday or Tuesday. I wasted three days here in Las Cruces waiting for an appointment that is not one. I HATE buying a car - the experience is always one of pushy salesmen just intent on selling me a car even if it isn't the right one for me. Not at all the experience here. Omar is the best. His interest really was focused on the best vehicle for me WITHOUT the pressure. Would highly recommend him because he was great to work with, great attitude and just an all around good guy. This was truly a "no-pain" car-buying experience! I'll definitely go back when looking for another vehicle.
