It’s almost a month since I leased my second KIA from Karp! I got out my 2016 Optima lease early and leased a 2018 Sportage! The Optima was great, but the Sportage is outstanding! I owe my decision to Michael Rosenberg! He helped me with my Optima and I knew exactly where to go for my next KIA! He put me in the right model with all the right features! He worked up a great deal and I couldn’t be happier! I appreciated the way Michael handled the sale, but I appreciated even more how he contacted me after the sale to make sure I was satisfied! I know for the length of my lease I’ll be in good hands with the Karp service department! I told Michael I’d see him again in 2 to 3 years for my next KIA!

Destination Kia was not on our list of dealerships to shop but a friend of mine told me about his experience there and I added them to our list. After the first round of visits to 4 dealerships, Destination Kia was the only one left.
We were greeted by Dillon Wagner and we stayed with him through the whole process. He is a professional of the first order. His product knowledge is second to none. He answered all of our questions, to my wife and my satisfaction and we both agree that he was 100% honest and stuck by everything he said. He mentioned that a truck was that I ended up buying had Apple Car Play and when we got in, he was crushed when he found out it didn’t. It really wasn’t that big of a deal for me anyway but he wrote the information down for later use, which impressed me.
We ended up buying 2 vehicles from Dillon and we are both very pleased. We feel like Dillon asked questions to find out what would be the best fit for us and then showed us the cars and let us decide. Zero pressure. I wouldn’t have dealt with that anyway. We will use Dillon and DK again and we will certainly recommend them to friends and family.
The icing on the cake was the way we were treated by the management team there. Sean Collins was very ammenible to making a deal that served us both and he help me with my credit union when an issue popped up.

After visiting many dealerships over several weeks, we decided to visit KIA of Huntington. We had heard that the KIA reputation was very good and the warranty was outstanding. We stopped in and met the wonderful staff, including John Kraft. He showed us the Sorrento and Sportage after listening to what our needs for a vehicle were. Finally a dealership where the salesman was listening instead of just trying to sell. Answered all our questions, spoke to us about our budget and financing options and then let us discuss privately. We liked the car but was unsure. After a few more questions the next day which John politely answered, we went in for a test drive. We were sold, Our Sportage is awesome. It was refreshing to go to a dealership that did not pressure us. The KIA sells itself. The salesman know that, and are only too happy to help when you ask for it. Wonderful dealership, wonderful salesman and incredible car. So much luxury I was not expecting for a car so reasonably priced. Thank you!

This was without a doubt the best and easiest car buying experience I have ever had in 50 years of buying cars. The salesman "Ben Burrell" made the process so easy. After an email to Vision KIA with the Sorento I was looking for, the internet representative "Heidi Jensen" got back to me in about 10 minutes and said they had found just what I wanted. Ben contacted me and I told him to give me the price it would be out the door. He got back to me with a very fair price and I told him we have a deal. The best part I didn't have to go to the dealership until I took possession of the vehicle. Being that the dealership is 50 miles away and being that Ben lived near me he even picked me up to get the vehicle.

the sales department did everything possible so we could drive home in our new car. we were looking to buy, but couldn't agree on payments that would work for us. Patti offered us a lease with payments we could afford. we drove a beautiful car home that day. when we returned to sign paperwork and pick up our plates, the offer on paper was way higher than what we agreed to. we do have the car we wanted but we are paying more than we can afford. Now i can't even get them to return my phone calls.

Took the car in for a warranty repair and my wife was told the tow was free with the warranty repair. The service center added on repairs and refused to due the warranty repair without our acquiescing to their add-ons. We refused and after 10 days and ineffective "intervention" by Kia North America, they did the warranty repair also claiming they performed the other repairs. They wouldn't release the car until we paid for the "free" tow ($200.00 for a 4 mile tow). Took the car to Goodyear and, lo and behold ( I have the pictures), the "repairs" they told us and Kia North America that they did...they didn't. Untrustworthy and unethical.

I went out during the freezing temperatures to look for a car. I stopped at Kia on my to the Chevy dealer. I was lucky enough to get Albert Salib as my salesperson. He took his time to explain my options and worked with me and my budget. I was looking for a compact car and I read through many reliable reviews that a Kia Forte was at the top of the list. Between Albert's great personality, price and the great features of the Forte, I was sold. This was a easy process from beginning to the end and I am very satisfied with my car. had a good experience with the salesman. The good news ends there. The rest of my experience here in March and April 2018 was horrific.
The salesman, Damon Jones, was excellent and provided a competitive price that I agreed to.
I purchased a new vehicle and financed through the dealer.
Strike 1 of 2:
My credit report is locked. When the finance manager Phil Esposito ran my credit he was unable to get a result due to the lock.
I was called at 9AM on the day I was to pick up the car and told to unlock it which I did within two hours. I asked them to run my credit again.
I arrived at the dealer to sign documents at pick up the car at 6PM.
They never ran it again and gave me a very poor 5.9% interest rate as a result despite a 740+ credit score. I asked Phil Esposito to run it again and he refused.
Strike 2 of 2:
The total amount financed as per my signed agreement with finance manager Phil Esposito was $28,569 @ 5.9% interest.
When my first bill from Kia Finance came they claimed the agreement was for $29,411 @ 4.9 % interest.
After literally five weeks of phone calls to Phil Esposito at Plaza and to Kia Finance I was unable to get an explanation for the discrepancy between the contract I signed and the contract Kia Finance was telling me took precedence at the higher amount financed and lower interest rate. My intention was to purchase the car outright before the end of payments so the amount financed value was important.
Kia Finance told me Plaza Kia sent a second finance agreement with the higher value. This second agreement superseded the first agreement.
I only saw and signed one (the first) agreement. I asked for the second to be mailed to me. When I received that mail from Kia Finance I was shocked to see my signature fabricated four times. Again, I never signed or agreed to that second finance agreement that was sent without my consent by Plaza Kia to Kia Finance.
Kia Finance told me the dealer needed to rectify the issue, the dealer told me Kia Finance needed to rectify the issue.
Phil Esposito said I should just return the vehicle if I have an issue with the contract, claiming they lost $2,300 due to the price Damon agreed to. Of course, this perceived loss for the dealer was irrelevant to my issue and not an appropriate resolution.
I had to contact Kia customer service twice to get on Plaza Kia and their finance managers case. Both times Phil Esposito called me within 10 minutes after I spoke to customer service and berated me for contacting them saying he was going to take care of it (keep in mind this had been going on six weeks).
Ultimately, Phil Esposito was able to fix the problem that began on March 12th 2018 on May 3rd 2018.
I received a check from Plaza Kia for the difference between the fabricated second finance agreement that I never signed or consensted to and the actual amount financed I agreed to.
1) Do not purchase a car at Plaza Kia (and likely the rest of Plaza Auto Group)
2) If you must purchase there, do not finance through the dealer and the car manufacturer. Bring your own financing from a bank.
3) Check that whatever agreement you make at the dealer is not then amended after the fact and without your consent.
4) Contact Kia Customer service if you want to get a response from Plaza Kia. I was dismissed and given no firm date for a resolution until I went to customer service.

"Customers top priority"? I guess I was not considered a customer then. Although I am a returning customer from Healey on my lease of a Hyundai Sonata which I entered a deal for a Kia Optima. I was TRICKED in this deal where I put down what for me was a large sum of money and the return of the Sonata. Never was I told or believed that I was still subject to additional charges for the return of my lease at the whim of the dealership in the amount of nearly $1000. Never would I have had a lease returned to assess fees when I was not there... in person to review AT THE TIME. This amounts to extortion on my credit score. When I called to find out what was going on, first my call was not returned. Second time, when I insisted on speaking with someone I was spoken to in a condescending manner to the tune that i didn't have to understand the deal I made when I left the dealership! I just had to pay whatever they said, because "how are they supposed to know"? I certainly had ZERO intention of making a deal where I put down what for me is a large figure and then leaving it to the whim of the dealership additional charges on my previous lease. Telling me you weren't "keeping it in your inventory " is NOT the same telling me I was subject to UNKNOWN fees on my previous vehicle
