Took my truck in for a check engine light. After dealing with a different dealership twice and having them throw all kinds of parts at it the mechanic at Bob Johnsons trouble shot the problem the first time and fixed it. The people were very nice and friendly to deal with.

Dream Team at Bill Kolb Jr! (Danielle Aceto on the service desk, Chris - Technician, Alan Bass - Service Director) I brought my 2014 Subaru Forester in because I had a terrible noise, shaking from the right front wheel. The technician Chris quickly identified the problem, sent a video showing clearly how the wheel bearing was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. He continued on the video to show all the other parts of the car, complimenting the condition and pointing out anything to keep an eye on. He also told me that I would need an alignment after the new bearing was installed. Danielle on the service desk called me to go over the work and to talk about the price. Wheel bearings are expensive but in line with main dealerships. The work was done quickly. When I picked up the car I felt like the alignment was very slightly off, so I turned back to speak with Danielle and the tech. Within a few minutes Chris agreed it was slightly off, kindly took the time to explain to me how the alignment is done, why it was slightly off, made the adjustment apologized and I left very happy. It's so refreshing to do business with people that really care about their work and believe in customer service. I can't recommend Bill Kolb Jr enough.

I just leased a Volvo, I think it was at least my 4th from this dealer. Steve Zinaman has been so helpful, going above and beyond. One of the things he did that impressed me was asking if I was a Costco member because it saved me a chunk of money. When I found out that upgrading to Executive membership would save me more, he called them to get a new code to save me even more money. After I got my car and he was done with his work, he continued to be available, helping me with coordinating my garage opener remote control with the remote on the car. The other person who was extremely helpful was his tech assistant, Melvin, who was very patient with me, teaching me some of the features and helping with the tech support, connecting my phone to the car audio, also being available afterwards to help with more things that confuse me. I am grateful for the superior service!

My wife and i purchased a used bmw x5 from this dealership. The vehicle was priced well and there was no hidden costs. They addressed our concerns and replaced warn tires and touched up a few scratches at no charge and when we picked up the vehicle they also noticed the rear breaks were warn, so they additional replaced the rear rotors and breaks at no charge. Car had a full tank of gas and was detailed to perfection. There was no pushy sales, just, true professional treatment from sales (vic) to financing (Alen) We could not have been treated any better. My husband bought a 2020 GMC Sierra from Garber Randall GMC in Canandaigua this past May, and in under 90 days we’ve already made three service trips—each one more outrageous than the last. In week one the tires were so badly out of balance the truck vibrated at highway speeds, yet we received no apology—just a quick fix and sent on our way. On purchase day our salesman, Raymond Burke, promised a second key at no charge; weeks of empty phone calls blaming the previous owner for “forgetting” to ship it only ended when we returned in person to pick up a complimentary replacement. Then, just last week, my husband was cruising on the highway when the oil light blazed on and the engine went bone-dry. Garber Randall GMC’s “solution,” as relayed by head of service David Hoe, was to drive another 600 miles to see if the oil consumption would settle, then bring it back—because it’s “more than likely” an engine failure requiring a teardown and rebuild, covered for just two years. At drop-off Tuesday David Hoe acted clueless about our previous issues, circling answers without offering any timeline or accountability. Their courtesy loaner lacked running boards—especially problematic since my husband had previous knee surgery. When we asked for a different vehicle, we were told the only available vehicle was the 2025 model we were in, which still wouldn’t solve the entry issue. What should have been a short repair turned into an uncomfortable two-week ordeal—and something about this whole experience doesn’t make me feel secure with my purchase moving forward. A 2020 Sierra should never need tire rebalancing, a replacement key, and an engine rebuild before its first anniversary—and a dealership that dodges responsibility, shrugs at safety issues, and leaves you stranded on the highway isn’t earning your trust. Buyer beware.

I came to Westbury Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram ready to lease a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn Black Edition. I had already researched incentives, trade values and comparable deals, and I made it clear from the beginning that I had a packed schedule and didn’t have time to spend all day negotiating. The initial numbers weren’t even close, so I thanked everyone and left. Later I received a call saying the GM had approved a much better deal. I was told to leave a $500 refundable deposit and that the deal would be held for 72 hours. After I agreed and called my insurance company, everything changed. Suddenly I was told the deal had to happen that night because of month-end timing. I even drove back to the dealership after nobody answered my calls or texts. The truck wasn’t available, and I was promised a callback the next day. That call never came. When I finally called, I was told the incentives hadn’t really changed, but now the issue was that they were “losing money.” To be fair, my deposit was refunded immediately, and I don’t blame the salesman. He was polite, never pressured me into another truck, and I believe he was doing his best. My frustration is with the dealership’s process. I walked away feeling like the goalposts just kept moving, and that’s ultimately why they lost my business.
