Gregory took good care of us and once we saw someone in finance he also took good care of us. He had left for the day and came back. My problem is with the dealership and lack of communication. We test drove week before purchase and filled out all financial information ahead of time to make the process more efficient. we had a 4;30 appointment to buy the vehicle with everything worked out from down payment to financing. We were at the dealership 3 hours waiting on someone to process the final papers. This is unacceptable customer service

Well Honda didn’t do that. Lamont Stevenson helped me get rid of my crappy car and get in to a brand new CR-V that I absolutely love! He is an awesome guy. I was extremely happy with how quick they made the process! I bought a newly used Jeep from them after trading in my vehicle. They gave me an unbeatable trade in price for my vehicle and were very patient while I got things lined up with my bank for the new purchase. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't "spiffed up" before I came to pick it up after the weekend, nor was I offered any complimentary service offers which is really helpful not only to customers but helps bring people back to them in the future. Every other dealership I've been to will detail the vehicle inside and out and fill it with gas before you pick up, and in addition offer at least a free oil change to keep you coming back for routine maintenance. While I do realize I bought a Jeep from a Honda dealer and they may be limited to the services they offer to used vehicles, I still feel that the customer experience is the most important. In addition knowledge of the vehicles you are selling is imperative! Luckily, I had done my own research prior to my inquiry of the new vehicle but the sales team/management could not answer basic questions I had regarding features of the particular vehicle. Again I realize Jeeps aren't their specialty but knowledge of any product you're selling will take you a long way! Over all it was a great experience, very fast, great trade in value and got the vehicle I came for, for a great price!

I just relocated from Kentucky and this was my first time coming to this dealership to get my car serviced.
When I first walked in I asked someone what did I need to do and he told me to just drive my car in so I did. I got out my car and stood there and he never looked up again at me. He proceeded to talk to co-workers, make calls, and looked right through me. It was obvious he was deliberately NOT trying to help me any further. So I just stood there awkwardly for abut 3 minutes becoming more and more frustrated.
Then from across the bay Gerald asked was anyone helping me(I'm sure he saw that I was literally being ignored). As soon as I said no, Gerald jumped into action.
He was soooooo helpful and friendly. He explained everything while stepping me through what was going on with my car. He changed what could have been a bad experience into an enjoyable one.
You could tell he takes pride in job and loves helping his customers.
I will be going back and I will be scheduling all my visits with Gerald.
If you you ever have to go Crown Honda of Southpoint in Durham, trust me and ask for Gerald. I promise you, he'll take good care of you!

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ! EVER! THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! I am currently 1 month into this nightmare. I purchased my BRAND NEW 2021 model year car from them less than 2 weeks ago. It is currently in a different Honda Service Center with an estimated $2k repair bill that resulted from the car getting so hot that 3 pieces of metal (under the hood) melted and fused together. The Service Center agent advised that the severity of the issue infers that the issue must have occurred prior to the sale of the vehicle. Dealership has not responded to 2 emails sent a week ago. This BRAND NEW car cannot be driven. The manager Mark tried to get me to agree to 0% financing through the dealership even though paperwork reflected 3.99%. Mark tried to convince me that I would only be paying $1.50 per month over 12 months on an over $20k loan. Even if this was true, (which it obviously is not), $1.50 does not reflect 0% interest. $0.00 reflects 0% interest. There were several unauthorized hits to my credit resulting from Mark's dishonesty. This BRAND NEW car was delivered in filthy condition. When I complained to a Honda rep, dealership told Honda rep, I asked for car "as-is." Any logical person would not request a car to be delivered dirty. Dealer eventually agreed to reimburse me for a car wash/detail and asked me to submit receipt. I have not heard back in 7 days and am currently stuck with an additional car wash bill. SEVERAL errors on paperwork mileage and balance was wrong in several places. Salesperson Kesha told me to "sign papers anyway" and they would be corrected later. (THIS IS NOT LEGAL). Car was delivered to me without any license plate attached to vehicle. I would like to mention again that my brand new car will not be fixed for an undisclosed amount of time (tech said it could potentially take months). Parts are on backorder and car is not functioning properly. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON YOU SHOULD EVEN CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! NOTHING GOOD WILL COME OF IT. If a brand new car came from them this way, please please do not even think of buying used from them. The photos attached are what this dealership thinks a new car should look like. ZERO STARS. I would love to update this review if anything whatsoever was resolved but unfortunately, the problems have been getting worse and worse.

After diving up to another dealership and being disappointed there, we called Sanford Honda on a whim and got in touch with Mr. Allen Black, he immediately pulled the car we were looking for and had it waiting for us to test drive as soon as we arrived at the dealership. He was patient and accommodating as we navigated the purchase of our new car with two small boys in tow. We felt that Mr. Black and the dealership provided us with the best deal possible for both the new car and trade in value of our truck. We worked with Mr. Espinoza in financing and he was excellent - in addition to finalizing paperwork with us he provided our two year old with balloons and infinite patience. If I could give this dealer 0 star I would. They are unprofessional, unknowledgeable and straight disrespectful. The worst dealer I have ever been too. I wouldn’t go to this dealer even if they were giving away free cars. To all my military friends who are Florida residents and are stationed here, please know that you qualify for tax exemption meaning you do not pay taxes on any vehicle you are buying. This dealer will not honor it due to their lack of knowledge and if you try to educate them in this they will call you names and get disrespectful. Save your self the trouble and DO NOT go to Lumberton honda. Take your money and head over to Aberdeen Honda they treat you like family and know the all about the tax exemption (ask for Mike).

Worst new vehicle purchase ever. Purchased February 26th its April 20th and still no tags. Numerous phone calls and no answer as to why. In the meantime I get to look at my new truck in the driveway. Finally they gave up and sending me the information so I have to go get my own tags. It was delivered to me filthy and no one cared. All they wanted was the sale. What a horrible way to run a business.

Just bought a 2018 Accord EX-L and came all the way from Richmond VA to purchase this new Honda. Mark the sales manager was by the far the most honest and easy going sales manager I have ever had to deal with and my sales rep Marshall understood I was on a time crunch and got me in and out of the dealer within 49 minutes. Every single deal they promised me was taken care of and it was the most rewarding deal ever. Great job guys and would recommend anyone to use this dealer!!!
