Lina was excellent to work with- friendly, no pressure, flexible working with my crazy schedule, and responsive to texts/calls to check inventory on a vehicle I was interested in to save me time before coming in to the dealership.
I did my homework before buying and had already test driven the vehicle I was interested in, but was having a hard time finding the model and option package I was looking for. Once I found one of interest, Lina confirmed the vehicle was on the lot and had it ready for me to drive when I arrived.
The sales manager did give me an extremely lowball initial offer on my trade-in, but thankfully I came well prepared with more than one written offer from local dealerships and was able to negotiate to where I was comfortable. Just wish that game playing part didn't have to happen. Amazing how being firm and saying no repeatedly can make the difference of thousands of dollars...
Kristen in finance ended up getting me a last minute better rate than I initially selected from my Costco membership, which lowered my payment and got me extended maintenance covered. Extra bonus and appreciation to her!
Overall, I was driving off the lot in about 3 hours in my brand new car and have no regrets. Car shopping as a single female is one of my least favorite things to do. But- the experience at this dealership versus one I worked with across town a week prior was like night and day. I was treated with respect, got a great deal, and left without ANY regrets!

Our sales person Keith was very prompt with a quote and easy to work with. The sales transaction took very little time due to his preparedness, one of the smoothest we've experienced. Took less time to complete the paper work than the drive down from Portland.
Easy purchase - grkgard1
We have had all are car service needs performed by Toyota of Corvallis and found them to be very honest and knowledgeable. So we figured this would be the place to purchase a used vehicle. Indeed it was with Jay Price making it a very pleasant experience for us. We trust Toyota of Corvallis and believe they will take care of us should we have any problems.

Horrible buying experience. Wish I could give zero stars. Tried to buy the car remotely though their internet sales. Picked out the car. They called me when ready. Did all the finance applications beforehand, had approval from my credit union, and agreement from the dealership that I could walk up, sign the paperwork and take my car. Set up an appointment time and I arrived 5 minutes early. Made me sit for 45 minutes while they ran back and forth to find my stuff, up sell me on more crap, get info that was already submitted ... then I had to wait to get into "finance". xxx? Why do I need to talk to finance when all that was already done. What a waste of time. Don't buy here. Other dealerships do much much better. Waited an hour for them and left.

If you are buying or servicing a Toyota, this is the only place in Oregon to go. The service department is professional and prompt. I purchased a new Rav 4 Hybrid from the Sales Department and Jennifer K. was very well informed, personable and one of the hardest working persons I have ever met. This is also the most well managed team of professionals that I have had the good fortune to work with.
Newport Toyota is a fine family of sterling professionals. Thank You, Sandra Peterson

This place is awesome. We did most of the legwork for my new vehicle through email, and when I arrived to pick it up, it was a breeze! The donuts are delicious, and they had freshly ground coffee. Everyone was super friendly, as well. I would highly recommend.

Martha was unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. Unless you are willing to go in & get pressured she can care less about you or being ethical. It was the most shameful experience I have ever endured, when we’re dealing with a pandemic, Martha couldn’t be more lazy and unprofessional. Will never go back!
Columbia Gorge Toyota, previously Griffith Toyota, is... - aepowers
Columbia Gorge Toyota, previously Griffith Toyota, is still the worst dealership, even after they changed their name (to get away from their bad rep?). A dishonorable mention goes to Jayme Reineccius for being the most incompetent manager I’ve dealt with (and I’ve bought a lot of cars).
Aaron: we wanted to keep it local, but not at that low of an offer. We even called the next day to negotiate, but we never got a call back. The other dealership made it too easy. We were in and out within 20 minutes with a check. We really tried to make it work with a local dealership.

Incompetent and Uncaring
I brought in my Yaris in September because it was squealing horribly under very specific circumstances, and the serpentine belt had already been replaced. After only an hour, they said I needed a new skid plate and sent me home to wait for the part. It arrived and was installed, and I assumed everything was fine. But the noise never really went away. Then it started getting worse. So I took my car back, only to find out that now I needed to replace a $900 part, something that could have been avoided if they did their jobs the first time. On top of that, they tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for my second visit. I’ve driven 500+ miles since the repair and the car still squeals when I turn it on, but I’ll be going to any other dealership to get it fixed. That’s how I found this page.

Terrible experience. I purchased a brand-new 2021 Highlander Hybrid and realized a few days after taking it home, that one of my tires was flat. Upon closer inspection, the tire was damaged and not new, even though the car was brand-new and supposed to have all new parts. I tried calling several times but didn’t receive a call-back until maybe the 8th attempt. The Sales Manager called me and told me that they would not do anything about the tire because they couldn’t believe that they would let a bad tire off the lot. I sent them photos of the tire and they still didn’t believe me.

I gave all my information to the sales person. He said he would contact me the next morning, but he never did. Common courtesy would have been nice. As it turned out I was able to find a used vehicle the next day somewhere else that was less mileage and more expensive
I purchased two Toyotas from Capitol. One was a new Camry... - mikeweade
I purchased two Toyotas from Capitol. One was a new Camry and the other was a used Corolla. They really screwed me on the Corolla. I was repeatedly lied to by several different so called asst. managers and even the main manager about the damage the car had sustained. Each of the four said they would be helping me and them quietly disappeared from the scene. I purchased the car for my disabled my son and the car was unsafe from the time it was driven off the lot. The front end had been severely damaged and they say they had no knowledge of the damage. The wreak did not show up on the Carfax report they gave to me. My mechanic found the damage when he inspected the car but the dealership would not even bring the car in to see if it was safe to drive. The front rim had been bent and we would not even find that out until months later. I have spent a lot of money just trying the fix the car to make it safe.
I wouldn't recommend Capitol Toyota to an enemy. Just the fact that so many said they would help and then faded away and came up with no help.
This was the last communication to Capitol and they ignored it.
So far we have not heard from anyone about the Toyota we bought in October for our son. We thought we were buying a safe car for him, but that is not the case. I already forwarded you the invoice from my mechanic, who also discovered
damage to the front, crooked headlight and repainted front bumper. This was all noted the day after we bought the car when we took it to our mechanic for an inspection. He found the alternator barely attached. It was just hanging there by a thread with a very long screw. He showed it to us before he replaced it with a new alternator. We know the car had a collision at some point, but it is not mentioned on the carfax.
This week our son noticed that one of the front tires was low, so he stopped by Les Schwab to get some air in it. They noticed something wrong and removed the tire, only to discover a bent rim. This just adds to all the other damage
previously mentioned (pic attached). It is painfully clear that this car had a front end collision. The previous owner patched it up and traded it in to you and we ended up with a lemon.
Our son had a trucking accident 14 years ago. He has an artificial disc and a fusion in his neck and his days are mostly spent reclining on ice packs. He needs a safe, reliable car for his physical therapy appointments. .

After my Corolla stalled on the freeway while going over 65MPH the car was towed into them. This dealership's service department is unprofessional and rude. They have zero knowledge on Toyota warranty. Their incompetence ultimately left me stranded with no vehicle as they refused to provide rental car despite my warranty having rental car coverage
