Awesome buying experience - RG
I ran across the dealerships website while searching for a 3500 ram and inquired about one they had in stock,Angela Franklin got in touch with me and after a few equipment questions we were on our way to the dealership. She done the entire transaction over the phone even our trade details.Once we arrived at the dealership we were met by Angela and finance manager Richard Rittmann who made us feel like we had known them for years. Richard negotiated us a deal that was way better than we could have imagined! The whole process from inquiry to driving off the lot in our new ram was as flawless and actually enjoyable as we could have ever asked for If your ever in the market for a new ram or jeep go see these folks, they will treat you right without a bunch of smoke and mirrors. We will definitely be returning for our next new vehicle purchase!

Quick acurate answers to what I needed - jsmith2013
I had an issue with my jeep coming down the Interstate. Fortunately the were fairly close. I went in and described what my issue was to the service tech who happened to be standing there. With a quick pop of the hood they noticed right off the bat there I have a few Dry rotted hoses (jeep has 180000+ miles). We could not fabricate a hose on site, however the parts department made a few quick phone calls to see who had what in stock. We had the part on site in about 20 min.
The next issue was that the service department was SLAMMED. I am fairly mechanically inclined so I started to replace the hoses my self in the lot. I had one portion that I simply could not reach Due to the tight area. That same tech from earlier happened by again, and was able to reach into the tight area and had it on in just a minuet.
All around good experience - Josh cossar
All around good experience. First time I was able to buy a truck without sitting at the dealership all day. I told Darby I had stuff to do at home, so we did most of it through texting till the end. Just had to go in and finalize everything at the end. Definitely the way to buy a truck now days instead of wasting all day there. So thank you Darby for keeping me updated without sitting there, probably wouldn't have bought it if I had to. First time buying a Ram 2500 happy I swapped over to a Dodge.
Professional and accommodating - Subaru Lou
Excellent verbal skills. We felt completely comfortable throughout the sales cycle. NO PRESSURE!
Very professional and pleasant. Sales process was seamless and easy. We enjoyed our experience with Brian Harris.
Awesome - Hsmith
Spencer was extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle, the trim levels within each model, and practical issues to consider. It was about finding the right car for me not just simply making a sale. It was probably one of the most educational experiences I've had when buying a car. I had changed my mind on a couple options and even went back and forth between models and despite those changes it was not taken as aggravating the team rather it was them wanting me to get the car that I really wanted.

Walked into Gary Matthews on Saturday (7-SEP-17) to get some info about ordering a new Dodge Challenger and met with David Johnson. He immediately asked us to follow him to his office so he can write down all of my questions and informed us that he was new and wanted to make sure that we had all of our questions answered. After writing down what we wanted he took it to the sales manager to look into the questions. David then took us out to the lot and showed us the different options that they had on the lot. He then asked us if we would like to test drive the 2 options that was similar to the cars that I was wanting to order (difference between auto/manual transmission). After the test drives we went back in and sat with the sales manager to get the answers that we requested. After finding out the process and how to go about it. they told us that the person that does the ordering will be back on Monday and that we could sit with her and order what I wanted. Fast forward to Monday, After my wife and I got Pre- approved we went back to Gary Matthews to purchase one of the cars that I had test drove previously. As soon as we walk in the building, we were greeted by David again and we talked about my new plans and we were told that he will pull the car around so that we can drive it once more to be sure. The Sales manager told us that he will get the Paperwork started for us while we were driving the car. All said and done Between Saturday and Monday we spent a total of 4 hours working with David and the sales manager, these two individuals made this the Absolute easiest buying experience that I have ever dealt with. David has owned Challengers in the past and was extremely helpful with these cars. I would Recommend the sales team to anyone at Gary Matthews.
Bought a used Truck - JayCanyon
I just bought a used truck today at Steve Jones Chrysler Dodge and Jeep and I had the best experience buying with them. I had been shopping around through the whole nashville and mid TN area and had some really bad and rude experiences. Glenn was super friendly, honest and understanding. He really was genuine and all the rest of the staff there were very nice as well. I'd definitely recommend shopping here if your on the market for a new or even used vehicle! It was a fast, quick and easy process and they weren't pushy or trying to be forceful either.
AWESOME Experience - JeepLvr
Okay, so I know this is hard to believe but there really is a car dealership and a car salesman that treats a customer with respect. I know, I know, you are thinking I am under the influence of something but guess what? I'm not and it's true. My husband and I were in the market for a new 4 wheel drive vehicle and I stopped by Stinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Newport, TN., on my way home from work. I wasn't immediately descended on by a salesman, which was nice. I went into the showroom and met Mr. Bill Francis. He wasn't "honey this or honey that". He treated me very professionally. I told him what we were looking for and he suggested we get pre-approved through the dealerships website and then we could look at vehicles and options from there. He didn't drag me by the hair to sit down and "work the numbers", which I had heard before. Bill didn't call or email every hour. He let us do our homework and when we were ready he was there for us.
He also understood that my husband and I are professionals and lead EXTREMELY busy lives. When we finally decided on a vehicle he made sure that the paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently by the finance department as it had to be done on my husband's lunch break. Also the gentleman "Curtis" in the finance department was polite and thorough. He went over the options as far as warranty plans and he respected our choices. He made suggestions based on his experience. He turned what is usually a painful, excruciatingly long process into an informative, professional and concise process.
I highly recommend Stinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep. It is a small town dealership that still treats customers with respect. Very rare in our world. Thank you Bill, Curtis and the Stinnett family.
Amazing buying experience! - Amanda P.
My husband and I had been to four other dealerships in one day looking for the right SUV. The salesman at the places we stopped at were really pushy and only wanted to sell us what we didn't want. We decided to stop at Taylor Automotive on our way home to McKenzie. We met Kevin Kelley and for the first twenty minutes we never even spoke about an SUV. He was a genuine nice guy who asked us about our family and how he could help us. I wanted a Honda Pilot and he happened to have one with real low mileage. The price was a little out of our budget but the monthly payment was where we kind of expected it. We needed to think on it over night and Kevin said that was fine and understood. We talked to the sales manager Chris who was as nice and understanding as Kevin. We drove home and talked about it and we were debating on going back in the morning. Kevin called me and asked if I really wanted the vehicle and I told him yes. He said he was having it cleaned up and Chris was going to redo the price on my trade in. Kevin and Chris were not your typical salesman but they did persuade us to buy it. They did not pressure us and were not pushy at all. They both took the time to explain to us different things and they valued our time. I would recommend Kevin to anyone buying a car!
Very happy with my new car - Extremelyvulgarman
They gave me the good news about the car, & all the bad things. They didn't try hiding anything. Very honest & trustworthy. They are willing to budge a little bit if you have a budget, & that's something I really appreciated.

Sales associate - Tiffany Fugate - SavannahTN
I was contacted by Tiffany in response to a internet inquiry about a 2016 Dodge Ram in Nov. 2016.
Any questions , concerns were answered in a timely manner. I found her representation of the dealership to be courteous, kind and professional. She was prepared with all the information I requested in our phone, text or email contacts. Upon my arrival to the dealership Tiffany greeted me at the door, had the truck cleaned and available for a test drive. She also understood/respected I was on a short timeline when I arrived. Long story short, the next day she drove the vehicle 2.5 hours (one way) after a full workday and personally delivered the vehicle! She stayed true to her words from start to finish. Class act.
I would HIGHLY recommend Tiffany Fugate to others in search of a vehicle.
She paid attention to my budget. She did not use pressure sales tactics (thank you). It is obvious she takes pride in her customer service skills. Five starts for her quality of work, friendliness and customer service.
FYI: I contacted three other Dodge Dealership internet services concerning similar vehicles and it was not even close after the first initial contact. Her work was heads and shoulders above the other three internet contacts.
The three star rating (shown above) for the dealership is for management. Three managers at the building/showroom/lot that evening and not one took the time to introduce themselves. As a first time visitor/potential customer in your dealership I hope you would extend that common courtesy. Next time please. Thanks.

Traded in and upgraded! Amazing Customer Service! - tglatham13
Just wanted to take a second to praise this local dealership! I've been treated poorly by 2 other "big name" dealerships in Memphis over the past several years, so needless to say I'm skeptical of dealerships just as much as anyone else.
However, my husband has purchased his last two vehicles here since 2012, so I decided I would give them a chance. Boy am I glad I did. The customer service I experienced working with Lacey and Lawrie this past weekend was PHENOMENAL! Lacey worked her tail off to find me what I was looking for in my strict budget and she succeeded with flying colors. Both of them were super personal and very friendly people. I also want to give a shout out to Cassie over in finance for helping me seal the deal and get out the door with exactly what I needed.
Needless to say, this will be the only dealership I visit for any and ALL of my future car buying needs and I highly recommend you do the same.
Hidden fees - Billy W
Dealership added fees I had refused and tried to hide them. I found out by contacting my lender. Dealership refused to remove the fees and redo the contract.

Just Plain Bad! - Joseph L.
We bought a brand new Jeep Renegade from East Tennessee Dodge on July 5, 2016 for $24,368. About two weeks into owning the vehicle, we had to put a quart of oil in it. I just thought that maybe the dealership did not fill the oil before we bought it.
The next month, when checking the oil, it was down again. I put another quart of oil in the vehicle. This time I thought it must have to do with the break in period – given that it is a brand new vehicle.
Then, in the third month, we were out driving on some back roads when the vehicle flashed “low oil pressure” three quick times (within a minute) and then just simply froze up in the middle of the road. Luckily there wasn’t traffic around us at the time. We ended up putting in one quart of oil there. Got it started again and drove to the nearest Walmart and put in another quart there – just to make it back home.
This was when we took it to the dealership the first time on October 5, 2016.
They said that they could not see a leak and wanted to do a consumption test. They filled up the oil, added a dye and told us to come back in 1,000 miles.
We didn’t make that 1,000 miles before it was more than a quart low again. So, we took it back on October 18, 2016. This time, they said that there was a leak at the back on the oil pan. We asked where did all the oil go – at least 4 quarts that we put in ourselves? They stated that it all went on a cross member under the car (which was strange as there has been no signs of an oil leak – not under the car or on our garage floor).
This time they changed the oil pan (so they claim) and put some type of form-a-gasket sealant on the oil pan, filled it back up and told us to drive another 500 miles to see what happens.
Know that at this time, we were afraid to drive the vehicle (and we had reason). However, we tried to put the miles on it to see what would happen. We did not even make it the 500 miles before it was ¾ of a quart low and not wanting to drive it any more. Plus, we figured out where all that oil, some 4+ quarts, was going. It went into the catalytic converter. We found this out because there was so much oil in the converter that it began to blow out on our garage floor from the exhaust pipe. We took it back in on November 10, 2016 and explain the problem and the oil. The service manager stated (at that time) that both the engine and the catalytic converter needed to be changed out.
11/23/2016 – we picked the vehicle up today only to find out that they changed the engine but did not touch the catalytic converter. We called up the service manager and all he told us was that Chrysler would not reimburse them for it. I did get an email from the general manager at East Tennessee Dodge who states; “Chrysler has refused to put a convertor in the car because they claim it is undamaged by the oil consumption.” Which is strange given that it was their own service manager who stated that it needed to be changed.
Now, we have a $25,000 defective, unsafe vehicle that cannot breath. I wonder how long that will last until it dies again? I guess customer safety is out. I guess this warranty is no good. And, I guess they just royally screwed us.
I also tried to contact Chrysler. I used their online form. I received a response that said they would push this off on someone else and that group would call me in 48 hours. Well, I am still waiting.
Triple A Experience - Gsplprch1
I am an 81 year old retired minister and I live in Anniston, Alabama. (Roll Tide). I was in search for a late modle Lincoln Town Car. I used a search engine and located a 2009 Town Car at Moss Motor Co in Tennessee. I called and talked to one of their salesmen (Ben). I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased cars in the last 50 p;lus years. This was the best car buying experience I EVER had. Ben was one of the most helpful salesman I ever dealt with. I drove to Tenn with my wife and it was HOT and when we arrived Ben met us and welcomed us and gave us a cold drink. Then we met the used car manager who was also very cooperative and helpful. I was really floored when they bought our lunch. Who ever heard of such a thing. These guys are really "unreal". No doubt this was the best car buying experience I EVER had. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was still alive. I would encourage you to check these guys out . Fantastic. Unbelieveable. Every car dealer could learn from this company. A special thanks to Ben and the Used Car Manager for their help in making our vist so enjoyable.
Work experience I have ever had - Goplay
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! Only care about themselves, very much overpriced. The service department was very terrible during the entire process. Sales people are nice and professional but once the sale happens they do not care anything about the customer.
