I have been shopping for a car for quite some time. I have to say that, at Russ Darrow KIA I was extremely Impressed. I had a lot of questions for Cliff, and he was very patent with me over the few weeks before we got a chance to get up to Madison. He took into consideration I had a busy schedule. Cliff was a pleasure to work with over the last few weeks. Cliff also let us know what we would need in case after the test drive, we where still interested in the vehicle. When we arrived at Russ Darrow KIA in Madison, we where welcomed by many employees that worked there. Cliff Introduced him self right away. We were also offered coffee, tea, and popcorn. I've driven Hondas for 10 years. I was planning on getting an Odyssey but couldn't justify the price. I started searching for Kia Sedona's since my dad has owned one for ten years with little issues. I found the perfect one at Sparta Kia. I usually go to West Salem, Barry retrieved the van and got it back to West Salem the same day. Buying it was a breeze and Barry was very helpful with setting up the van. I'm so excited for my new van!

2014 Kia Forte breaking system dangerous! - Sooverit
We have owned many small cars and never had this issue. Snow is the worst for breaking! The breaks lock up and you slide. The computer system with the abs is configured wrong. You can feel it and as his wife I hate driving it. Something feels off. Never had this issue as, I said with any other car. We have complained about this issue since the day it was purchased. The “mechanic” tells us no problem. My husband is a professional driver and know more on how to handle a vehicle better then most. This is NOT normal! Does someone need to be injured or killed before they listen or do anything? Thinking so, almost out of warranty and thinking that’s the hope. Then they would hit us with the cost to repair the issue. Anyone else having issues with Kia breaking system? They need to hear it and loudly please. The stopper is not my issue for the breaking system how about you?

Went to explore, just look around and test drive to get ideas of what I wanted. Talked with a salesperson who was very knowledgeable but very cliche/stereotype salesman and very pushy. Put money down to reserve a potential interest after being convinced that if I decided against the vehicle, that the refunding process would be simple and quick. This wasn't the case. It took several conversations over the course of about 8 business days to get my money back. What's the worst part for me, from the moment me and my fiancee started talking with this sales person, my (male) fiancee was the one being talked to about the fine details, the mechanical conversation, and I (the female) was ONLY talked to about how cute, how comfy, and the cliched 'girly things'. However, we stated SEVERAL times that the new vehicle was for me and the kicker...that my fiancee knows very little about cars and I know a fair deal about them.
Overall, I hadn't heard good things of Kocourek but it was local, I like to form my own opinions, and each person is different. I am just saddened that what I heard was true. I will not be going back.

So very disappointed with my experience here. Had a great time with James as we were test driving a couple cars, then they showed us a newer 2016 Kia Optima which I fell in love with. I made two separate visits there and tried to negotiate price but for some reason I was turned down. They didn’t even consider my offer which was fair as I had plenty of time to do my research. They also didn’t bother to counteroffer. The car had bad brake rotors which they did not disclose and blamed it on the brakes being “rusty” from sitting on the lot. The manager Ryan practically kicked me out of there making me feel like I couldn’t afford the car I wanted. I’ve never had such experience at a car retailer before where they didn’t want my business. I got the car I wanted somewhere else and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

Should have stayed local - Unhappy
Been a month so far. Still don't have the loan finalized. I have the car. No antenna. They have told me multiple times they have sent the antenna. No follow through. I was told I was receiving gift cards for all my inconvenience it's been 2 weeks haven't seen those either. Begged me for perfect rating on their survey (which they never did email to me). I keep calling and following up to get them to move on things and nothing. They were supposed to have ordered personalized plates for me. The next thing I knew I got paperwork for that sent to me, they hadn't actually done that either. The price was included in the car, but for the extra $15 I just sent it in my self to the DMV without sending it back to Kia. Who only knows how long that would sit on a desk before actually getting taken care of. So far they have ran our credit twice because it has been over 2 weeks. Pretty soon they will have to run it the 3rd time if they don't get the paperwork sent out to me soon. It has not been a good experience. It's still not over, and every day is more irritating because nobody really seems to care.

We purchased New tires from Russ Darrow Kia appleton. We called to bring our sorento in because there is a nail in the tire. The service person told us that they don't offer any warranty for nails or anything that would damage your tires. My wife suggested that they should. The service person laughed at her. I have brought our vehicle there previously and heard them selling things to customers that aren't necessary just to get money out of them.
