5 Stars – Excellent Experience at Volkswagen of Rochester, NH! I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Volkswagen of Rochester, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. A special shoutout to Mike and Will Stergis, who went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and made sure I was getting the best deal. The entire team worked seamlessly together, making the whole process quick, efficient, and pleasant. The dealership itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere was inviting, which only added to the great experience. As for the pricing – both on the car I purchased and the trade-in value – they were more than fair. Perhaps the most rewarding experience for buying a car ever. Joel went above and beyond to ensure that our questions and concerns were addressed. Personally intervened, addressed, and resolved a DMV issue within minutes of being notified. Wife is thrilled with the car. Joel's unmatched professionalism and personal demeanor are noteworthy, and we look forward to the next visit. Definitely worth the 3-hour drive from Connecticut. A 5-star visit!

Purchase process was overly long seams service department is short staffed. Wanted the car to come with a Porsche warranty was unable to do because of over priced quote for the repair from shop. One of the delays was for repair of rear spoiler when I got home I put the spoiler up there was a large amount of mud under it you would the mechanic would have told the recon person about it. Also when the car is turned hard left like I have to do to get into my garage the right front wheel locks up this happened when I first parked coming home from the dealership. Gary and Anthony were both excellent to work with not to happy with quality of the service department on quality of the delivery and time to get the car ready. Car should never been advertised for sale until it had gone through the shop and received a clean bill of health.

Would have given a five star rating however we went home with a 33 k truck that has two fobs that don’t work!! I did not know this until we arrived home an hour and a half later as we live in Maine. My husband thought he could figure it. Your sales people are aware that we had two fobs that didn’t work. After reading the manual and a conversation with our mechanic he did fix it. Dead batteries!!!

Really a CLASS A dealership, came to McFarland Nissan and picked up a model of Nissan that I have really always liked and l I left feeling 100X better than I had, when I had walked in!! Bill Kliskey was truly remarkable in getting right to the reason why I was there and not wasting time on "up talking" and grandstanding. I really appreciated the honesty from Bill and his expertise, not ONCE did I feel that Bill was trying to push something on me that I wasn't comfortable with, no matter where we were in the transaction. Later on, I worked with the gentleman by the name of Adam Veinotte who I found out was one of the higher ups who took his time to finalize everything and make sure that everything was set and secure for me before I left for the evening, as I was the last customer for the day and had to pick up the car at a later time, as it was a new arrival on the lot, due to my work schedule. Adam was so humble, that I was shocked when I learned that he was the gentleman who gave the okay to the salesman on the floor before a deal was finalized. At the end I dealt with Ryan in finance, who really took his time to explain to me what they offered as far as warranties go, without the pushiness that I've experienced at other dealerships, I really felt like the terms and what was covered, were explained to me crystal clear with what he told me, and the literature he provided. I actually ended up adding a warranty that I felt would make my purchase more secure, should anything happen in the future over a good duration, and I didn't feel like it was an overpriced marketing tactic slapped on top of my purchase price by finance in order to generate a higher loan amount to secure higher commissions, I feel like I purchased value and not junk which I thoroughly appreciated. My whole experience at this dealership was impeccable, and I feel that my purchase was of good value and that I truly hit it on the mark when I stopped in at McFarland. I will without a question in my mind, come back to McFarland in the future for more business, and will recommend other people to do the same if in need of a vehicle. Nice job gentleman!!!

Professional, knowledgable, & fair; courteous staff (Henri was great, with timely responses to outstanding questions); and attention to detail which went over and above expectations (i.e. cargo cover, floor mats, touch up on the hood, rear wiper, vehicle detail all taken care of) ~ the car sparkled when I arrived~! The smoothest & and most stress-free buying experience I've ever had~ a true example of a great car buying experience. Will be returning to Volvo Cars of Exeter for future vehicles ~ highly recommend!

First City Cars and Trucks is the only dealership I’ve visited where I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process and experience of buying a vehicle. After being left in a pinch to look for a vehicle that fit my criteria and budget, I thankfully found multiple listings from their website that checked out. All their vehicles were in pristine condition and were extremely affordable - well under Kelly Bluebooks recommended value! I visited the Rochester location and throughout the whole process felt at ease of how professionally and carefully everything was handled. Huge xxxxxxto the detailer- every vehicle I drove looked brand new inside and out! Rebecca and Todd were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel safe in trusting them in such a big decision. In addition to the car being priced extremely well for its value, they were extremely reasonable when working out a price that fit my budget. I had to stay in the building after hours in order to add my car to my insurance, and they were more than accommodating, letting me stay as long as needed. Plus, I also left with a nice goodie bag! I never once felt rushed, stressed, or pressured throughout my entire time there which was unlike anything I had experienced at other dealerships. When you’re making the decision of purchasing a long term investment like a car, it’s beyond reassuring to have people in control of the process that work with you and not just for a commission check. I am so grateful I came across this dealership and highly highly recommend driving over and taking a look at what they have to offer.

The entire staff at Key Auto in Somersworth are by far the best! They treat you with respect and in a friendly, relaxed manner. We went to the dealer we bought our truck from new to see about a trade for an SUV. They treated us in an insulting way and didn’t even come close to matching the offer from Key Auto. That dealer lost a long time customer and Key Auto gained one! Rob, Bob and Dean are great people to do business with. They take the stress of buying a quality vehicle away and make you feel at ease! I thought the guys were nice at this dealership, but my overall experience was very disappointing. I was interested in one of their vehicles and came close to buying it. I don't live nearby, but my kids had a basketball tournament during the weekend that was 30 minutes away, so we had planned on me bringing in my trade to have it appraised, and so I could look at their vehicle if time permitted. I found out on my way there that the owner's wife was driving the vehicle I was interested in for the weekend. I was a little annoyed, but whatever! I still had my truck appraised and worked out numbers. I had a pre- approval from my bank, but Motor City was going to see if if they could get me a better rate. I left while they worked on that, because I had to get back to the basketball tournament for the next game. By mid day on Monday I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to check in on the status of everything. I received a response later in the day that I got approved, but it had no addional details. I replied asking what the terms were, but didn't hear back. It's now late afternoon on Tuesday, so I call to find out that my bank offered better options. I asked them to send me the purchase and sale, and I would get out of work early and head to my bank. He said he would send it right over at 3:45pm, but I was soon arriving to the bank at 4:30pm, and still hadn't received anything. I was getting nervous because the bank closes at 5pm. I call again and it is finally sent. I immediately forward it to the loan officer, not thinking to look, because we had alreay finalized the numbers while I was there, and I was rushing to get everything done before the bank closed. When signing the paperwork with the bank, I realized my trade wasn't included. Apparently, the "old purchase and sale agreement" was sent on accident, but I never worked the deal without my trade, so not sure where this old one came from. I asked if they would still buy my truck, and they said no. Furthermore, even after all this, they were not willing to bring the vehicle to me, so I would have to now find someone to take me down there. The bank was unable to redo the deal with the trade, because it would then make my LTV too high. I had previously missed out on a deal at another dealership on a vehicle that was the same year, make, model, and about the same miles, which was overall $1,500 less, so this makes sense. I wasted so much time and energy for all this to happen. I feel like the transparency at this dealership is unsettling. I worked in the car industry for many years and this is not how I operated. If you are looking for an honest dealership, try one of the McGee Dealerships. I know for a fact that this wouldn't happen over there, and I think I won't venture away from them again. Most dealership are like this, sadly! I thought these guys were different, but I guess I was wrong. P.S. I should have read through all these reviews before I went there. When looking at their responses, it is clear that they take absolutely no accountability for anything, and are extremely defensive when anything is brought to their attention. This should serve as a red flag for everyone. I previously mentioned McGee, look at their responses to their negative reviews. Examples: How can we make your experience better?, I'm sorry this happened. How can we help?, etc. It actually made me uncomfortable reading Motor City's responses. I am now curious what their response will be to this and what excuse will be used this time around.

Solid 5/5 stars. I stopped by on a busy Saturday and was openly told to feel free to look around and check out anything I’d like. Bob was very inviting and incredibly helpful, and Sarah was extremely prompt and pleasant to work with on the financing side. I’ve shopped at some shady used car dealerships in the past, and First City has proven to be the opposite of that. They are very honest and open about their inventory, and made for a very friendly, zero pressure interaction with zero headache.
