Everybody was friendly. I brought my 6 month old car in for a recall. I picked up a loaner car for which I had already filled out all the forms and left the security deposit. When I got there I was told that I couldn’t get a loaner for a recall. This was eventually resolved. When I picked up the car the next day it was full of snow but the windows were cleared. The day before I had to park under a tree and birds had messed up my windshield and hood. The windshield was cleared, but when I got home I kept receiving messages that my windshield washer liquid is low and to contact the dealership. I don’t have the time to bring the car in every couple of days because I have a very busy work schedule.

We had a great experience with Jay purchasing a Tucson. We had looked for a year for a compact SUV. Jay Rad was very helpful during test drives, providing useful information about features without being overbearing. He was also helpful with purchase. We were well prepared with KBB price information and had compared the out-the-door price from other dealers; the dealership was willing to meet the incentive offered by another dealership. We were clear that we did not want any extras, and were pleasantly surprised that the purchase was quick and no high-pressure delays in F&I office. Such a great place to go. We bought our first Jones vehicle in 2020 and still have it. Last Sept 2023, we brought my cousin and he got a car. Just went back today 3/20/24 and within a couple of hours left in a brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson with 19 miles on it. This was a gift for my Mother and she LOVES it. Parked in driveway and handed her the keys. A special thank you to Alyson who helped me out on the Facebook Messenger (I responded to one of their facebook ads) and to Michael T Stender, the salesman who was literally at the door when I parked and got me in and out, the finance dept and Peter who handled the paperwork.

At third service interval (~22K miles) on my Palisade, service advisor told me "Hyundai recommends a four wheel alignment which will be $275, would you like to schedule that today?" That was when I was checking in and no one had even driven the car...I did not make a scene and replied "no". Great job Pohanka Service Department! Today, I went in to parts for an oil filter and an in-cabin air filter, the parts guy came back and told me that would be $91...I asked for a breakdown and he told me the in-cabin was $70 and the oil was $21; I walked out. OEM parts (check any Hyundai dealer that sells on-line) and the highest I found were $28.75 and $10.15 respectively (not including $15 shipping). So, adding in 6% MD sales tax, Pohanka was upcharging me no less than 82%. Way to go Pohanka Parts Department! I am sure the dealer will respond that somehow I am mistaken and how much they value their customers, I am not and apparently that value is very little.
