I purchased a 2017 Cadillac XT5 and Mary McDaniel was the sales person. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. They offer a 30 day/1000 mile warranty on the car which doesn't sound like much but most used cars are as is. I live in Hot Springs Arkansas which is a 3 hour drive to the dealer, but for the deal I got it was well worth it. The very next day the thermostat went out and I was prepared to drive back to Memphis to use the warranty to get it fixed. It was suggested that I get it repaired in Hot Springs and they would cover the cost. I did that today and 45 minutes after City Auto was contacted that the repairs were completed the bill was paid. I couldn't ask for better customer service and definitely recommend this dealership. Every bit a 5 star company. Ask for Mary when you go.

I dropped my car off for a recall for fuel, you could smell is gas. I would like to first thank Mrs.Pride and the mechanics that helped me, they went above and beyond to look out for my safety,that is very hard to find and they are very special to me and I will NEVER forget whatMrs.Pride and mechanics done for me. I was treated horrible, and put in harms ways by the service secretary. She told me my part would be in by the end of week but it was not and she told me multiple times that I could come get my car and drive it until my part came in and I told her no I was not picking up my car because it would be my fault if my car caught on fire and she even told me that my car was not going to catch on fire and she yelled at me on the phone and hung up on me a few times, I received a call from the machanic saying I couldn’t drive my car m(even to another car repair shop) because my car was going to catch fire and didn’t know how it hasn’t already and I was pulling into prides at that time due to how I had been treated. I had called that morning to speak with Mrs.Pride but she was out so I spoke with general manager,jerry, and he said he would go speak with her. The mechanics begged and begged me not to drive my car because so were only worried about my safety!!! I also needed another part to fix my gas problem and the service secretary,Lajana, was even ruder when I got there and I told the mechanics she has been telling me since last week to pick my car up and drive it until part was in, I had never been treated that way. Mrs. Pride came out and spoke with me and I explained to her what all had been going on and she fixed my car for free to make sure I was safe and that meant the world to me and she and me baby have a special place in my heart forever and I am so grateful for them, it is hard now days to find people who Truly care, have compassion, and empathy and miss pride in the mechanics had all of that and more. I cried like a baby when I left there because they were only worrried about my safety!! So thank you Mrs.Pride for caring about me and my safety and fixing my car for absolutely nothing, they charged me nothing to fix it just so I would be safe!!! I would recommend them to anybody and if you have a problem speak with Mrs.Pride, it is hard to find people who care now days And her and the mechanics had compassion, and empathy, and general cared and I left there crying because it meant the world to me and they will always have a very special place in my heart and NEVER will I forget what they done for me. Hands down ABSOLUTE BEST place to buy a vehicle in Memphis! The people here are very warm and welcoming and treat you like family! We were in the market for a car for my daughter's 16th birthday and we weren't sure what we wanted to get yet. We were able to freely look around and not be harassed like we had been at other dealerships. They have a large inventory with a variety of different vehicles in ONE place. When my daughter found a car she liked the staff made sure we got what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Very nice vehicles at fair prices. No mark ups. Jim Kerras dealership wanted to charge almost $3k in additional "dealership fees" on tops of the marketed sale price 😳 So thankful we decided to come to Car Smart. Very accommodating people here who genuinely care about their customers and it shows! Special shout out to Blaine and Russell for a great experience ♥️ Thank you guys so much! I took my vehicle in to Landers Cadillac of Memphis due - Monica Kegler

I took my vehicle in to Landers Cadillac of Memphis due to a loss in pressure. Although pressure wasn't at full capacity, it continued to crank. I took it in the very next day after losing pressure. I was advised that their computer couldn't provide a diagnosis and that they needed to tear down the motor. Upon SUPPOSEDLY tearing it down, I was advised that I needed a motor and they quoted me over $18,000. They scammed me out of $2900 for diagnosing my vehicle and it was misdiagnosed. They claimed to have "torn the motor down" to identify the problem. Upon the supposed tear down, they claimed to have found metal shavings in the motor. I took my vehicle in running and had to have a tow truck to pick it up. It was taken to a certified GM mechanic and repaired within a day. He verified within a matter of minutes upon it being dropped off that the motor, in fact, had not been torn down, it ABSOLUTELY didn't need to be replaced, that there was ZERO metal shavings anywhere, and described the oil as being beautiful. Cadillac claimed that their system couldn't provide a diagnosis thus, the tear down. The certified GM mechanic that did the repairs advised that his system pointed to the problem IMMEDIATELY which advised to replace cylinder 4. He did the repairs and now my vehicle is running PERFECTLY with the SAME motor, no replacement. I contacted the service director, Bryant Ward, at Cadillac who advised me that my vehicle needed to be and HAD BEEN torn down to advise that they lied to me and scammed me out of $2900, he's yet to return my call. Since purchasing my vehicle in 2020, Landers Cadillac of Memphis is the ONLY place that EVER provided ANY and ALL services. To be treated the way I've been treated is HEARTBREAKING. To think I trusted them and BELIEVED I needed a new motor is HEART WRENCHING. Mr. Ward LITERALLY quoted me over $18,000 for a new motor when ALL they did was take the top off of a cam shaft. They NEVER did a tear down or so much as a diagnosis. How can you scam someone to this extent and sleep well at night? Words can't explain my frustration and mental anguish. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD when it comes to needing major OR minor repairs. They're providing illegal practices and scamming people out of THOUSANDS of dollars. PLEASE BEWARE!!!

I had filled out a Transunion form and was told I was approved. It was just a ploy to get you in the Dealership. I was even told to come in after work everything will be good. Again this is after I asked if I was approved. Wasted over 2 hours of mine and my childs time to tell me we will need a five thousand dollar down payment. So the site said I was approved the person I spoke with on the phone said as well and to come in after work to be denied. I have seen this is something Landers does it is the second time I have had a instance with Landers. The first time I was told to pick something and they said I was good so I did so to be denied after I was told I was good pick a vehicle. Landers needs to change thier way of doing things and be honest. Oh wait a honest car salesman lol right.
