"J Star has turned around their repair department. The first time I went there it was a nightmare. The customer service was terrible. I had coupons from Mopar and they didn’t want to honor them. They didn’t even want to work on my vehicle and were sending me to another dealership until the owner got involved and had them fix my van.
This time I went in and there were completely new personnel. New service Manager and staff. They took care of me and I had some concerns with my Ram 3500 Promaster (Winnebago). They assured me that they were aware of the van and had the lifts to work on it. I waited for the service and everything was done with no problems. They didn’t even question the coupons from Mopar and accepted them.
I would definitely recommend J Star now to fellow Winnebago owners who have a Ram. Thank you for a great experience."
"We purchased a 2019 travel trailer from Camping World of North Charleston, SC in May 2019. We notified Camping World and the providers on May 23, 2019, in writing, of our intent to cancel the Travel Trailer Service Agreement, the Exterior/Interior Protection Plan and the Good Sam Tire & Wheel Service Contract. The dealership staff attitude turned dismissive toward us at that time.
We were notified on June 6, 2019 that the cancellations were approved. As of today, no refunds have been made to the lien holder bank. The contract requires Camping World to pay a certain amount each day beyond the initial refund amount for their delays. They are in breach of the contract and obviously could care less.
I recommend that anyone considering purchasing an RV to look elsewhere. Their customer service is horrible and I wish that we would have taken the advice of the people that have posted complaints. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from Camping world.
