Another wonderful experience: courteous, clear explanations of the pricing options and good value on our trade with a good price on the new car. Two years ago brought our Mazda3 in for service and while waiting in their wonderful lounge I walked to the new car display area. We test drove a CX-5 and then a CX-9. We chose the 9 because we needed the passenger & cargo space for granddaughters & dogs. We drove a CX-9 home.
This time I brought the CX-9 in for detailing after checking inventory online. Tyler had contacted me because of my inquiry. We set an appointment while I waited on the detailing. Tyler gave me an estimate on the trade-in value of the low mileage CX-9 and possible deals on a CX-5. We loved the 9 but it was larger than we needed now so the 5 seemed to be the choice. While the 9 was being detailed Tyler l& I drove the 5 home to pick up my wife for her to test drive the car, We got to the dealer ship and Tyler continued writing up the order. After Keith walked us through the finances we once again drove our new car home.

The service center was great. Not my first time dealing with them first time was because my car was chipped at where you put gas and took about 3 weeks to get it back but I got to use the courtesy car instead made it so perfect. On my last visit went for my first oil change, they did a full inspection car wash and tire rotation within a hour and a half. Was expecting to wait hours for them to be done!

My fiancé, our three kids and I arrived at the dealership 5 minutes before they closed to look at a specific cx 9. We spoke to David and to say he was wonderful is an understatement. He let us test drive it and stayed much later than he was supposed to. We came back two days later and test drove it again. We let him know we were looking at other options but would keep the Mazda in mind. He was so incredibly kind. His redponse was “if it’s meant to be it will be” we left the dealership to head down south and look at some other cars. We had the absolute worst experience. On our way back home we realized the Mazda was the right choice, so we called David on a whim and let him know we wanted the Mazda but wouldn’t be in town until after the dealer was set to close. He said it was no issue, and his boss Frank stayed late and they had all the paperwork drawn up before we even got to the dealership. We were there for all of 5 minutes, then drove off with our car. David and Frank were incredible. They gave us the best car buying experience we’ve ever had and I’m so thankful.

Bob Baker Carlsbad was definitely the worse customer experience we have ever had. An example of disrespect, lack of professionalism and integrity. We bough our mazda with them in July 2019. I called them and we exchanged a lot of emails before I go there and close the deal. Once I live in another city (around 2 hours far from them), I wanted to be sure everything was ok and the price was right. Well, everything was ok when we got there and did the test drive but problems started to happen when we got there to pick up the car. First of all, it was missing the extra carpet and the wheel lockers. We asked about them and they said they couldn’t include that on the deal anymore. We had the emails/text messages confirming that it was part of the deal and agreed price. They called the manager to explain the situation and it was when the situation got worse. Jay Costa, the manager, was the most rude person we have ever done business. He said we had two options: take the car without the pieces or don't buy the car anymore. He was angry, rude and left us talking alone in the meeting room. We got a ride to be there, we didn't have a way to come back to our city, we had already signed a contract and paid for the car insurance, my wife felt really disrespected and started crying. The problem was not the carpet or the locker. If they changed their mind, they could be honest and transparent. But they agreed with some conditions, confirmed by email/text messages and didn’t keep their word. They promised something, waited for us to drive there and disrespected us as a customer. A shame!!!

I have bought about four cars here and it has always been a good, and pleasant experience. This time I was just in for a recall on a water pump for my RAM 2500 truck. I was helped by Matt and Kelly. Stuart came over to just say hello, and A.J. did the repair. He also had several good tips about operating the truck. Everyone was pleasant and well-organized, the repair took about an hour less than planned, and everyone made a fuss over my Aussie who goes everywhere with me. The whole thing was low-key, efficient, and easy. BTW, the 2016 RAM 2500 is an outstanding vehicle.

Not only did Maita Subaru have a very large selection of used Subaru's, they had more than one in the exact color and with the exact features that I was looking for and it was about $2500 lower than I expected it to be. Working with their Internet Sales team, I met Zach during my lunch, who was great and then, when I came back that evening, Larry put off going to dinner so he could help me. I found exactly what I wanted and it was a great value. (Note that, if you first contact them through their internet department on their website, there is, frequently, an "internet discount" and that saved me a fat chunk of money. I don't think Larry ever got to dinner but we had a truly great time. I've never said this about a car buying experience but I truly made some new friends. I'm loving this car and will be going back at Larry's invitation so that he can make sure that I found all of the amazing features of this technological marvel. Thank you for the very best car buying experience of my life and I'm 68! This is my first Subaru and I thought that the motto "Love. Rocco Marconni. What else to say but a wonderful, down to earth, make things happen, not just say it but be about it kind of person. He really helped me get a BEAUTIFUL car and within the price range, low mileage and a low deposit down out the door. I was so frustrated with the whole situation of getting another car, but you know how you try to do what you can and once you’ve exhausted all your efforts somehow God comes at the right time to help you through. Rocco was the one God called to me and I have to say I can’t thank him enough.

I came in with a pre approved check from NavyFed and $1000.00 down payment cash. After hours of negotiating we finally worked out a deal, or at least I assumed so... and all of a sudden they tried to trick me into signing a credit check application (even after I repeatedly told them, "I am NOT running my credit, I have a check from NavyFed and $1000 down payment"). They still handed me a Credit Application and said it was "required to give them my ssn and sign a credit application in order for the dmv to approve the sale" LIES!! I'm not stupid. I laughed at them and said, "I'm not signing that, I've never in my life heard that one before!" Then they had me sitting for a very long period of time till they walked back up and said to me, "Sorry, we won't do this deal without running your credit." So I walked out. They wasted me entire night and hours on end! DO NOT LET THESE GUYS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU OR TRICK YOU INTO BUYING SOMETHING, THEY ARE GREEDY SCAM ARTISTS AND LIARS! A very greedy dealership, would NEVER give them a second try.
