Mel Hambelton’s employee Rudy took the time to show us all the different options, let us test drive anything we were interested in, and answered all our questions. We were not pressured to rush into anything though out our whole car buying process. Buying a car is not always quick and easy but with the help of Rudy it felt like just that, quick and easy. After the test drive I told the sales person that I would like to buy( I didn't haggle price), but she came back with a final quote of over $1000 more than the sticker price with admin fees. Worse customer service ever! I was treated like a criminal when I took my 2021 Mazda CX-5. My car used. Quart of oil at under 5,000 miles. Was accused of draining the oil out of my car! Car is still using oil! Service dept said it was normal. I will never buy another car from this dealership ever!!

Had oil changed on Wednesday, I think, and scheduled the brake work for Thursday. Dealership was kind enough to deliver vehicle to my work site.
When I took the car out Friday morning, I was a bit unnerved to find a lug nut on the floor of my garage. I checked all the lug nuts on the vehicle, and they seemed to be fine. The service manager checked with the technician, who said a nut was missing when the car came in.
My guess is the nut was loose from the tire rotation two days earlier and came off sometime between the oil change and the brake job.

No Such thing as a Good Customer here! I have bought several new cars here. When I had trouble with my Explorer (75,000 miles), they charged me $2400.00 to replace the turbocharger. When that didn't fix my car they said I needed a new engine ($14,000.00). When I took the car to a local repair shop, Guess what?
I was able to get the car fixed good as new for $1,600.
No refund from Ford or Bob Allen.

Not pleased with this service center. Called and let them know I was coming in at 3:15 for a standard oil change and would it be a problem. No problem. 3 hours later I've decided I will take my business elsewhere in the future.
They have a window to the garage in the customer waiting area which is probably not a good idea for these guys. For the first hour I watched slow movement and plenty of cell phone checking and lollygagging between the service men. Then finally the truck before mine in the bay pulled out. Oh good, 'Im next! But no, 20 minutes the bay sat empty only to have a car come around the inside of the garage to take my bay spot! xxx!
And hour later of sitting, waiting and watching I had had enough.
I went to the service manager to complain. Told him just what I saw and he told me they were looking up parts on the cell phones! I was getting oil change, what parts are they looking up. The manager went out there to regroup the troops. Another manager comes out and says I need new lug nuts, and brake pads weren't correct. For some reason I don't think they would have said that if I didn't complain. I don't trust them now.
Finally without requesting it, the sales manager gave me a free oil change but I still had to buy the lug nuts. I wish I would have kept the old ones.
On the way out, I notice 3 oil spots on my seat. I asked a passing service guy. Don't you cover the seats, they said no.
Absolutely pitiful experience all around. I could go on about how they had no records of my last oil change specs. Like brake wear. I will be going back to Midway Ford. They are the real pros. I wouldn't trust Victory Ford for anything

Our vehicle was there for THREE weeks. We would call to ask about progress and several times we got an answer of 'we don't have any record of your vehicle being here.' Then we would get a call back later in the day to tell us that they were waiting on the mechanic or ordering a part. On Friday, September 29th we called to ask about the status of our vehicle. We again got the response that they had no record of our vehicle being in the shop. We were told Mike would have to call us back. We made plans to get a car dolly and tow our vehicle to another dealer because we had no confidence that our vehicle would ever be fixed. Then about 4:30 that afternoon Mike called back to tell us that our vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. We understand that the service department was very busy but there was not an excuse for 'having no record of our vehicle'. We are looking to purchase a new vehicle and we had considered looking at Beckman Motors, but that will no longer be a consideration.

Upon visitingConklin Ford Newton, I was very pleasantly surprised. There were no jumping up and down sales people, no jumping chicken, no one ranting and raving and waving their arms. Just a small town atmosphere, laid back and a a joy to visit. Our salesman was very knowledgeable of the car we wanted to purchase and did not pressure us ;in any way shape or form. He smiled and greeted us with the utmost respect and was very professional. I would definitely recommend this dealership to people that want a small town atmosphere and a pleasant surrounding. Another plus is pleasant surprise is the loaning of a vehicle if you are in need of service.
